really nice setup and techno workout! exactly what I was looking for. super inspiring to see the full elektron setup, they are such good machines on their own but together wow and all of them?? a true dream!
@@RufesLive My Man, that was not much of a feedback, I just really appreciate what you did here in terms of the preparation and quality of the music. I was curious to see how you handle the transition between songs but as I watched I could see and hear your master plan unfold. Well done man, you deserve more. Keep it up.
It is my pleasure to share this with you. Excellent music for charming people :-) On my channel "Rufes Mind Music" you will also find meditations from me. Best regards and a good time
Man this is really great man! I love how the mix organically evolves rather than being this planned out recited piece you would make in a DAW. Do you send midi loops to the equipment or does each piece have each contained in its step sequencer? Really good techno great job.
Hello Hugh Ohlin.....Thanks for your great feedback. 🙏 This moves me very. I always use the Elektron MIDI sequencer for all tracks and sounds. Greetings from Berlin ;-)
Nice work! With electronic music’s amazing ability to explore new sonic landscapes, I feel electronic musicians should at least try to add something unique to their mixes and compositions instead of safely playing within a specific genre and sticking to all the usual sounds. Sure, it makes things sound perfect and polished but I’m more interested in hearing something new and interesting where you can hear the artist taking some chances and takes you on a music exploration. 😀
I understand your point of view. For me personally, many live acts are musically too experimental and often too mixed up. My aim is a sophisticated live set. The variety comes from the different Livesets that I publish. Thank you very much for your feedback. regards
Greetings from India man...this is just too good. All sounds and the entire set is very coherent and adherent. I have been contemplating to do the same but I just cannot get my head around where to begin with. Could I connect with you and you can guide me through some simple beginner stuff where I start off and build my way through. Great sounding set and energy flow once again. Cheers.
@@RufesLive Thank you for your reply. I currently have the Circuit + BassStation. Would it suffice to cover Drums + Bass + Lead + Pads and transition from one groove to groove. Or you suggest adding something inbetween?
@@dinshak86 Great equipment to start with. Very clear interface and not too complicated. 👍 The skills develop by themselves, the longer you work with the machines. Have fun & success
@@RufesLive Cheers man. Thank you for taking the time out to reply. I appreciate your humble gesture. Currently listening to your older sets ;) Happy New Year once again
Yes! Keys & Digitakt belong together for tracks. OT, AR and A4 belong together for the other tracks. So I can switch from one track to another track. ✌Thank you for your interest. greetings
Man I can't get over how beautiful those drums are. Are they analog or did you use samples? If you used samples please tell me which pack!! I need em ahah
Hi ✌ The bass comes from analog keys....bass drum and clap are processed samples of Elektron (my used samples always sound very different from the original). Cool that you like it so much. :-) best regards
Hallo Tom, i only work live with my machines (Elektron, Virus, TB´s). I record the master output (Mackie Mixer) with my computer. It will be arranged later nothing. Everything you hear happens live. :-) Only then will it be magical. I let myself be surprised by how the mix develops. greetings
So good! I think you need to stand up so you can move more 😁

Love your stuff Rufus.... are you going from digitakt > Rytm track per track back and forth? (for drums?)

Question: What is the octatracks job in this mix? I see you change a few scenes, but not much else?
Both rhythm machines go into the Octa (for effects and EQing) + Vocals ;-) ✌
Awesome. You got soundcloud?

Really good music but why the hell are you sitting?
Has no character. Why are you making the music? That needs to be there.
Too bad Simeon that you didn't feel it.
Music is always a matter of taste.
Amazing!
