Adventure bikes should always be light with a powerful engine. Because heavy bikes cause a lot of trouble in adverse conditions. Heavy bikes like BMW R1250 are suitable for long rides on plain roads but they are not suitable for rough roads covered with snow and mud. And there is also a problem of service in remote places.
