- Hey guys 👋🏾 in today's perfume review, I will be sharing 10 Extremely long lasting fragrances in my perfume collection. These fragrances last 10 + hours on my skin

Spraying on your favorite perfume before you leave the house is like the icing on the cake.
The fragrance you choose can help to complete your outfit, reflect your personality, invigorate your mood, and leave you feeling refreshed. But sometimes, the scent that was lingering when you left the house fades away sooner than you'd like.
So, why do some perfumes last longer than others? Claude Dir, a renowned perfumer and master nose at the international fragrance manufacturer Mane, has been creating perfumes for fashion designers, beauty brands, and celebrities for over 40 years.
Dir explains that the construction of a fragrance and the ingredients used both play a big part in the longevity of the scent.
"A perfume is constructed as a poetic blend of natural ingredients and nature identical raw materials," he says. "The molecular system of ingredients creates a pyramid structure consisting of top, middle, and base notes."
"From an olfactive point of view, longer lasting fragrances typically present variations in wood, musk, and resin ingredients; this will establish the base foundation on the skin which will extend the wear for six hours and up," he explains.
Another key factor is the oil concentration in the fragrance.
"Whether a fragrance is an eau de toilette (EDT), eau de parfum (EDP), or parfum will help determine the lasting power based on the fragrance oil concentration percentage," says Linda Levy, who currently serves as president of The Fragrance Foundation and has worked with leading fragrance houses and retailers for over 30 years. "A higher fragrance oil concentrate can help a consumer distinguish how strong and how long-lasting the fragrance will be on their skin."
Parfums or eau de parfums often have over 20 to 25% of fragrance oils, compared to eau de toilettes, which have much lower concentration of oil.

Yes, you are absolutely correct! Everything about fragrance makes me happy and uplift my mood, helps me get through a hard day, and just remind me that Mira don't doubt yourself, and keep my mind in a beautiful place! Fragrances are now my go to thing when dealing with hard times and just in general now. When I was in high school I used to work at a department store and made mad commissions off of recs and being able to get the customer to understand the depth of fragrance and the unique effects they have on each person. Fast forward 20 years later, I hadn't picked up a niche or designer fragrance in that long time span. I was just grabbing bath and body works every once in a blue moon and completely forgetting about myself and putting the children and the fam first. Long story short I've gotten back to myself and I'm so glad I came back to my interests and loves and fragrance is definitely one of them. I want to revisit Twilly or Orza and after your description I have to try the Atomic Rose. Ima need you do to a wedding day scent rec video please 🤞

AI, you hit us with a whole 36 min. video?... Here for it!... Sintra is a beast! On my first use, I choked myself out. I've learned to dial back and 1-2 sprays are all I need and it is beautiful.
As it pertains to POAL, it doesn't stop!!! I only use 1 spray and yes it's sexy just as you mentioned.
Thinking I should purchase Twilly body lotion. Like I layer and layer and it just fades.
I've been trying to find Fire for months. Ebayers & Mercariers both are overpricing and doing the most. Hopefully, BBW brings it back soon.

I tried a sample of Woman in Gold for two days and I cannot rock it. Something about it; maybe the Geranium.
Sushi Imperiale has been on my list for a while, I'm glad you mentioned it!
As for me, Donna Born in Roma lasts forever, particularly the top note of Black Currant; It lingers for 5 hours. Which kinda makes me mad b/c I like the Bourbon Vanilla dry down the best in which I get another 4 hours. Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir is another beast! 1-2 sprays last all day and it's a compliment getter on me. Last, I layer some of my fragrances with a light spray of Tom Ford Oud Wood (which is a very beautiful mild version of an Oud) to give off a Middle Eastern vibe and surprisingly it lasts all day.

I'm so glad u made this video. I have asked so many to make this video..and I see others doing it too...I feel I no longer like the designer perfumes from dept stores bc theres a VAST difference in the formula and longevity..alot of younger youtubers could no way know this knowledge bc they were to young to try perfumes 20yrs ago..these companies are robbing folks from both ends..meaning they r watered down perfumes AND increased the prices by 3xs!! While I understand prices go up..they should atleast kept the formula..and so it's up to us older gals to call out these companies or dont buy..bc ur buying garbage...I only buy middle eastern brands or niche....all I ask for is longevity and performance..I dont care how good a scent is ..if it doesn't last I WILL NOT buy...perfume is expensive enuff...so I'm thankful u made a short cutt vidoe into what's good!!!

My favorite long lasting fragrance is Al Haramain's Amber Oud, Gold Edition. Like, WOW!!! Inhale, turn your head, exhale, and let it marinate!!! It's intoxicating with lasting beast-mode projection. It stayed on my skin for 12+ hours even after showering. It's not for the faint at heart.

I just picked up Carner's Palo Santo, along Roadster, can ya believe it, for $36.
Oh, SoAdvantgarde has FdB. I sampled them when they first came out, but I never bought anything.
I was looking at one of their 30 ml or 50 ml, plus oils and a fragrance pen.
Selfridges carries their pens, so I might get that from them. Oh, tip for Selfridges.
You can have a live consultation online, and this will beat the vat tax.
Sort of like buying in-store, I will look at SaG for bottles of FdB.
I love the Violet one. It's odd though, for you think it's gone to a skin scent, but it hasn't.
Speaking of FM body cream. I know what you mean.
I have Amouage's Interlude body wash/shampoo. You don't even need the perfume if you have that.
I Will look at FM PoL body cream.
BTW, Roadster has been discontinued, but you can find it at Perfumeonline CA.
It's vetiver, but never a sharp one. Your husband might like it, and if not, it would be an easy trade.

I just started building my collection however I have noticed that Byredo Bal D'Afrique, Montale Roses Musk, and BDK Pas Ce Soir have the best wear time on my skin. I was disappointed at Creed Aventus for Her wear time on me but I love the scent!

You're the second fragrance channel I've seen today mention plastic doll as a note. And I think that's hilarious because I definitely know what plastic dolls smell like. I had so many cabbage patch. they have like a sweet plastic-y smell to them. It's hard to describe.

I loooooove lalibella ❤️… I used to only wear it to go to the ballet & opera because it just gives me those vibes. Btw I went to krigler! I have to revisit abracadabra. When I smelled it , I said to myself “hold off a bit, this smells like something already “… I came home to realize it smelled a little like bal d’afrique & metalique had a baby! Please go smell those two I just want to see how close we are with the baby making & perfumes 😆… I ended up getting bella bologhera 20, established cognac 66 (have you smelled that one? It’s like you took a bath in some vsop! Love it for winter) , English promenade 19, sylt style and kabarett 216 (another must) … I took home samples of abracadabra so I will go back !!! The DNA in dior fragrances are too strong. They need to hire an outside perfumer. DR has created 2nof my fav fragrances in my collection. Portrait of a Lady and Azzaro wanted girl 😍 so I know that fragrance you speak of is beautiful 😍
@@Ai_TheGreat Ropion is also the nose of Alien, Pure Poison (that I adore), Flowerbomb, London Burberry and Safari by Ralph Lauren (for nostalgic people)...just to mention some of the hundreds creations. This Vanagloria is not a blind buy. It's a weird scent but weird in the most beautiful way. You know what I mean ☺️ It's so misterious and magnetic. I have never smellt something like that.

Dama Bianca by Xerjoff is one of the fragrances I love. It’s soft, sweet, some white florals, a bit powdery and a touch of a woody note.
