How can I simulate the result of my Generative Design study in the Simulate session in CREO 7.0.3? My result is formed by thousands of small surfaces and this is preventing me from simulating this result in Simulate

What is the difference between setting up like it's shown in video and setting up that way that excluded geometry is already cut from starting element?

      Hi Zixx,
I've reached out to our product managers and they're coming up with an answer. Please stay tuned.

      Hi zixx91,
I got a very, very detailed answer with a lot of pictures from our product managers (and they described it as "a good question") that I can't share directly due to RUclips comments section limitations, but the gist of it is that it's setting up for a Creo 8 feature where Generative Topology Optimization will automatically create the starting envelope so you don't have to, and creating exclude bodies will be critical because that's the way to tell the software not to use that space to generate designs.
Exclude bodies as of Creo 7 also provide more flexibility/control and might be easier for modifications.
If you need more details I can try to arrange for you to see the full email.
      Take care!
