Cognitive Dissonance its an inside joke. dillinger posted on their facebook on billys b-day that "congratulation billy for turning 15" Hence the original post
God fucking damn this is some unique shit. I fuck with it heavily. DEP with the normal chaotic sound and Jarren.. Well you throw any beat at Jarren and he murders it.
lol. this is equivalent to saying the same thing but louder at a foreign person who can't understand what you're saying. telling people to like something doesn't make them wanna like it; perhaps providing some reasoning as to why this is "incredible in every way" might be a better way to go about what you're trying to acheive. ly xx
BrutalFuJay I agree with you man, I've listened to and loved metal since the 90's and always been a casual rap fan while getting more into it in recent years. I like Jarren Benton cause he is like the Dying Fetus of rap. He goes hard and over the top. Sometimes thats what you want to listen to. I also love DEP. So naturally when I saw they did a track with Jarren I was fucking excited. The only thing I wish is that they also got Kato on the track, and had Greg do some actual backup vox or something.....
Fuckin' awesome! It's like Run-DMC with Aerosmith back in 1986 but taken to another level. Great for both sides! (well, in music there is no sides really, but you know what I mean).
I was wondering why I'd never heard of this, until I heard it. It feels like it could have been good if they'd done it with a different rapper. This just sounds like what a Public Enemy/Anthrax reunion would sound like if it was done in the trunk of Flav's car. You're better than this, Ben.
People who arent fans of DEP think that this beat was garbage and fucked Jarren over, people who arent fans of Jarren think that he's a garbage rapper and that this is bad I'm a fan of both, and let me tell you, this is really fucking different. I want to like it because I like the artists but its really just not that great of a song IMO. Maybe I'm missing something about it but I just think it was a bad collaboration on both ends.
Not a band song but this isn't DEP, it feels like it was watered down to fit the commercial mold... I wonder what it COULD have been if it wasn't to "politically correct" and if the DEP vocalist had a part or two in this...
never heard of this guy, but goddam these are some terrible raps. just use this same mix and video but put Weezy on it or something, don't let it go to waste
Billy plays drums so well for being only 15.
I think he's 18 now?
he is older.. why would you think he was that young. he joined when he was like 22 think

haha sorry
Woodenlung Billy was born in 84...
Huge DEP fan, and this Jarren Benton dude sounds good in his other songs, but something about this just doesn't click.
Yeah, really wish there was an instrumental version
Billy Rymer absolutely killing it, as always
God fucking damn this is some unique shit. I fuck with it heavily. DEP with the normal chaotic sound and Jarren.. Well you throw any beat at Jarren and he murders it.
The fact that I'm only now seeing this has me questioning everything I've come to understand about reality.
To all the people who don't like this: Don't you understand how good this is? It's incredible in every way.

Late to the party, but I'm in the same boat. You might like MF DOOM/Madvillain.
A different style for Jarren for sure, but he is always going hard, so it suits him lol
I'm big fan of both - mathcore and hip-hop, but this is unbelievable shit.
BlackKidWithTheGlasses "but"
BlackKidWithTheGlasses awful shit :(
I agree that this shit is unbelievable
Vova Sedykh fuckin love this song dude
They shoulda had Greg throw in a few verses lmao
He should've at least done the chorus
Been a fan of DEP since the beginning. I definitely approve of this track. DEP always open to new ideas when it comes to music.
I actually really dig this, the video is pretty awesome too. It comes across as a tribute to Dillinger's whole shtick.
This song is amazing! They NEED to make a full album.
Jarren Benton kills dis shit!!
Suprised at the negative reception, I love it. Ah well just more good music that others don't have.
Jarren u crazy
Cool mix. I didn’t even know this song existed until I heard the rap/metal collab episode of the heavy with Andrew and Don
This shit still fire
Awesome song! reinventing the groove!
I don't know how this works, but it does
Jarren a huge Dillinger escape plan fan
Jarren's best rap.
This is weird as shit, but I really like it.
What Dillinger gig is the footage at 2:10 from where some crazy guy picks Greg up?!
Gotta see that.
Yela Would've Killed It.
Jarreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen Benton!!!!!!!
What, exactly, is Greg doing in this video? :) Looking great indoors in sunglasses, sure...
This even reminds me of these lighter tracks on Circulating Infinity a bit
Calculating*
Got that meshuggah solo towards the end
LOL No, it does not.
Fuck this goes hard, loving it. Jarren killin it as usual
Now all they need to do now is remake the movie Judgment Night and put this on the soundtrack. But Greg should've been on this track.
that was actually fucking awesome

Hi Mr.Benton !
I was wondering why I'd never heard of this, until I heard it. It feels like it could have been good if they'd done it with a different rapper. This just sounds like what a Public Enemy/Anthrax reunion would sound like if it was done in the trunk of Flav's car. You're better than this, Ben.
Hacktivist?
SKAZKA PAGE god I wish they’d get an American rapper. Would help their sound soooooo much
listening in 2018 and wondering how this has 67 k views. Odd.
nice :-)
Way better than that garbage mash up Lil Wayne and Blink 182 just released 😂
Jarren absolutely killing it like always.
There's a lot of comments about people liking this, Jarren has a great flow as usually but it sounds nasty
is there another thumbs up/like button i can use here? :)
signed,
not at all disappointed
Where the fuck is greg
Kill the Coyote Rock Band's Jarren Benton's Best-in-Slot
DOPE AS FUCK
sounds like Body Count
*Candiria
billnmish nope, Candiria is much better than this
rzutr fehgtr No. Just no.
People who arent fans of DEP think that this beat was garbage and fucked Jarren over, people who arent fans of Jarren think that he's a garbage rapper and that this is bad

yeah!!! like, fukk the system!!!
This is ace compared to Necro and that drummer from Voivod lol
The Only interesting things here is Billy
New numetal
I love the Dillinger Escape Plan but...this is terrible. Even the instrumental sucks
Not a band song but this isn't DEP, it feels like it was watered down to fit the commercial mold...
I wonder what it COULD have been if it wasn't to "politically correct" and if the DEP vocalist had a part or two in this...
I have no idea what this has to do with political correctness. As hard as I try for the life of me I cannot fucking understand.
what the fuck.
:(
no...
The rapper has energy but wow his lyrics are bland as hell. The guitar solo thing at the end sounds like shit but I bet that was intentional.
meh...
This could of been so much better.....trashh
never heard of this guy, but goddam these are some terrible raps. just use this same mix and video but put Weezy on it or something, don't let it go to waste
Jarren is the best*
Weezy? I'd rather have bieber on here than weezy
This guy shits on Weezy's chest
edgy? yes. good? no. basic lyrics over what sounds like an amateur band trying so hard to imitate dillinger.
having said that, the bit from like 2.40 to 2.55 is great, as is the video direction
I still don’t like this 8 years after
