This was very specific
Distort it with the waveshaper to the max first. Do not use fast Dist. Then eq. Then waveshaper again. Big difference. Try it. 👍🏻

Wildcrow it took me years to figure the formula out but if you play around with what I’ve suggested I promise you will find something interesting 👍🏻

Wildcrow I don’t mind putting in the work now that I have a good idea how to distort and crush it your chain is insane for the kick I like using Samples but now I can make my own when I can get the sound I want. Thanks bro!
the new thing i learned was tht we can also create movement in kick by automating that knob. 😎 and usually it takes from hours to days to bounce a final kick 😁😂

It's a nice sounding kick after all, and sure it still needs a lot work to get the kick you desire. It includes a lot of right distortion, EQing, compressing, even layering in some sort. Making a kick, I admit, really got your ears hurt hearing the same thing over and over again. Heheh.
Good thing about this 5 min challenge is that people will actually try things for themselves and not copy a full 30 min tutorial on how to make a specific kick. Idk, im no producer but seemed quite decent for a 5 min kick.

Just a small guy, but I referenced your vid here as I reverse engineered the kick you made here to sort of fit it into another D.A.W., as there were no videos on how to make a hardstyle kick/beat on Audiotool.

It's an open source plugin, it's *FREE* but you can choose to donate the creator if you want.

I still don't really understand, I get that this is how to start but to turn this into a full kick leaves me confused. Also, of you could make a full tutorial on phuture noise/ sub zero project type kick from scratch I would absolutely love you!
This was just a challenge to see what I could get. Probably nobody would use this kick on a track, but this is mainly the process of making kicks.

Wildcrow after you streched the kick 909 you did something to reset the kick 909. I didnt understand how to do that. The kick sounds weird after the stretch?
After stretching I just cutted it and then reseted the pitch

Yes why not, just try
First off all... I would use a plugin that emulates the 909 for more control over the envelope of the kick. Heck you don't even need a 909. You can do it with a synth whatever. Use waveshapers etc and fk that ott imo.

Can you do 5 minute challenge to make intro for hardstyle?
An intro is not something complex, is just taking things you used in the track and adding them in the intro to let the listener know what is coming next
Wildcrow oh and the same goes with outro?
Of course, just check intros and outros of tracks. Nothing special on them

Don't use fast dist. I mostly use camelcrusher and filterbank for my kicks.

@@wildcrowmusic waveshaper is very very cool! Once you get to learn details about distortion you Will have a lot of fun with it, it is really versatile. I started using it recently And i love it!

Most of distorsion plugins are basically the same, you just have to understand them

So if you want to make a hardstyle kick you need a 909 kick and 20 Distortion and 40 EQ. btw nice vid.
if you barely know anything about what you're doing, don't make a "how to" challenge vid, you'll just lead people in the wrong direction that are actually trying to learn something

The OTT destroyed it all, imo...
Well, it brought a bit more brightness to the kick
Not really, it just brightened the higher-frequency of the distortion so in general, the OTT just made it some more noisy and messed. It was quite decent (on 5 min challenge), but the OTT just made it sound weird afterall.
I mentioned this on his earlier video as well. The new videos after new alias are a complete joke
