      Save this type of music for the X-Games. It's so annoying. Rather hear the sounds of the movements of the gymnasts and apparti.

    The best chinese gymnast ever. Such a shame that she never had the mental toughness to achieve greater results

      Mo was excellent, but the best Chinese gymnasts of all time have been Cheng Fei and Ma who won Olympic GOLD on bars. They were both very consistent and of course- champions. Mo simply lacked the consistency to be considered the best of all time for China.

      @@saragrant9749 Mo Huilan it’s the best all arounder of China’s history. You can consider Cheng the most powerful chinese gymnast or even the best Vault/floor worker that they had but for sure you can’t say that she was the best especially using consistency as an argument lol

      @@TheMateusMarquessMo was absolutely NOT the best AA gymnast ever for China. Let’s go over statistics.
      Fan Yilin- 2008 Olympic AA bronze medalist.
      Juana Yuanyuan - 2010 world AA silver medalist.
      Yao Jinan- 2011 world AA bronze medalist- in spite of a fall.
      Tang Xijing- 2019 world AA silver medalist.
      Mo Huilan NEVER produced an AA medal because she couldn’t get through 4 routines without a significant mistake!! She was great, but substantially too inconsistent to ever be “the greatest.”

      @@saragrant9749I'd make an argument for Zhang Nan too, who took Bronze at 2003 Worlds as well as 2004 Olympics. If she hadn't been injured in 2005 she probably would have challenged for a medal that year too - I find it hard to believe that she wouldn't have beaten Monette Russo if she was in her National Games form.

    She's one of the athletes that never reached her full potential due to her inconsistency, had she not stepped OOBs on floor in the AA, she would've gotten silver, though I thought that her vault and bars were underscored

    • @rolandgreen7484
      @rolandgreen7484 5 месяцев назад

      Her vault and bars were underscored but her beam was way overscored if you see the side view of her monstrous double hop on her beam dismount, where she literally jumped back 5 feet and her leg sprawled out during it too. And still got a 9.8 which was cray cray, even as great as she is on beam. So if anything she was lucky with the scores overall for her beam score alone. If she had hit her beam dismount decently AND not made the mistake on floor she very likely wins the All Around. Just removing 1 of the 2 she wins silver for sure.

    she was first after 3 rotation, the mistake on floor costed her the silver all around medal,

    • @saragrant9749
      @saragrant9749 7 месяцев назад

      It actually cost her the gold. If she’d hit that routine without the step out of bounds she’d have had just enough to beat Lilia.

      hum I don't think,. with 9.85 it was silver, I don't think she would have scored higher than 9.85 for a hit routine , she needed 9.862 to tie LilIA @@saragrant9749

      @@saragrant9749 9.856 (what she needed to beat Lilia) was a very tall order though. The only two gymnasts who scored higher than that on floor in the whole of those games was Lilia herself (9.887 in AA and EF) and Simona Amanar (TO). Mo hit her floor routine cold in TO and only scored 9.775 - I'd have been very surprised if the judges even gave her a 9.800 for a hit set in the AA. It's unfortunate for Mo that she flubbed her dismount on BB during the AA - if she had hit her beam set perfectly she would've given herself more of a buffer on floor and wouldn't have had to put so much pressure on herself.

    • @saragrant9749
      @saragrant9749 6 месяцев назад

      @@Gazmeizster_Wongatronthat is true. What’s unfortunate is the scores by Lilia… were highly inflated when you look at a couple of her landings on tumbling.

      She stuck the vault beautifully in Team Optionals and the AA, but only scored 9.837 and 9.825 respectively - unfortunately not enough to challenge Amanar's massive 9.875 score.
