Thank you for the Video! Ordered the 2.0 with your link! Keep up the great work!
GREAT Video!!! Wasn't sure if I could even do something like this... so I did a search and your video came up... thank you for posting it 👍👍👍
Ok, so both computers a connected to the same monitor.
An previous to use the Kvm switch, he does the monitor switch at 4:41
Which was something it was not very clear to me in the video...
Perfect answer to my question. Just purchased the 3.0 version through your link. Thank you.
you could have tried mouse with borders from microsoft
Thank you for this short and informative video. Currently having a laptop running Linux for work and my Windows for other tasks and games, so I think this will be a really great improvement.
I bought this switch and it works just like it does with you, thanks for the video it really helped me out.
Thank you! This is so helpful! Getting it now!
thanks for this. just received my new laptop so this is perfect timing :)
i just got a new job and wanted to also have access to my personal gaming laptop without looking too inconspicuous. this looks like exactly what i need, just ordered thanks!
Thank you. I knew there had to be a solution that cost less than $800. :) Ordered & awaiting delivery!!!
I watched your video a couple weeks ago and shut it to do that with mine. And it works great thank you very much for this excellent video,
Pretty simple and awesome little tool. I've ordered the 3.0 version of that box. Can wait to see how it works!
Just what I needed thank you so much bro
Thank guy for a cheap and easy solution!
I wasn't looking at the screen and heard that static noise at 4:04 and thought my computer freaked out lmao
thank you for this information, i didn't know the micro usb port in the back was for extra juice!
Thank you so much for this video! I was looking for something like this. Appreciate you sharing this knowledge. 5/5!
You are so welcome! Thank you for the kind words!
this is just what I needed. Thanks!
This is exactly what I need RN. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this video. I've watched a few this morning & yours was, by far, the clearest & simplest. I appreciate that you showed us the full setup & then demonstrated how it worked. I just purchased this switch (but in the USB 3 version, which I probably didn't need) and will be using it to share with my work laptop. One question I have, my laptop is a Surface Pro, do you know if there are any additional considerations? I have recently been provided a docking station for the surface & I believe I would just connect that to this switch, correct? Thank you for any additional help you can provide.
Hey Chris! If your surface has a usb connection on that docking station then this should work just fine!
@@RAVisuals Thank you so much for the reply. I'm relieved to hear that. I have almost everything I need and will be setting it up soon.
Hey thanks for the vid really usefull. Do you think that using it can create some sort of delayed in your mouse or keybor if ne of this computers is being use for gaming?
Thank you so much for this recommendation!! I was skeptical to try it at first because I wanted to try and have this work between my PC and Mac, but it worked like a charm!!
Thanks man, that's exactly what I needed 👍
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I'm ordering one today!
does this work with a tablet? (usb c to hdmi)
Awesome explanation, thank you
Thank you so very much for this. ❤
Thank you for the recommendation. Would this also work just fine between a gaming PC and a work laptop?
Great video! Question: Is there any input using this switch instead of directly connecting the mouse and keyboard?
Yep. REALLY helpful. Liked & subscribed.
I absolutely need this for my work laptop and my home desktop, as I'm sick and tired of using 2 sets of mice and keyboard.
Cheers bud!
Great help!
Nice video, thanks. was looking at KVM switches but they seem a bit too complicated (especially the display part) and also expensive. this is much more down to my level lol
Hey thanks for this. I wanted to get the 2.0 version but wasn't sure if it would work well. Now I know. 😎
No worries, Paul! Hope it works great for your setup 🤘🏼
thx u sir! great content!
Brilliant thank you, ordered the 3.0 version,
Thank you man you solved my issue that's been haunting me
Thank you for the video. Tremendous help.
Glad it helped!
I thought I was going to have to get a KVM for sure but thanks to this video I realized I can just use this switch with hdmi for my work pc and display port for my gaming pc
Very very helpful with the two giant pcs my latest mental breakdown has produced.
glad I was able to help!
Thanks for the video, really got tired of switching manually between my personal PC and work PC
no problem!
Thanks from Germany, that is the Shit in need to switch between my WIN11 and WIN XP PC. The Last one to play old Games =)
Man this has nothing to do with the keyboards but I have a Little groot just like that in my game room 🎉 Thanks for the vid , answers all my questions
Yes, this did help my problem for I have two computers, unlimited disk space thank you
legend, thank you!
cheers man biggest help
no problem!
Good Review. Thanks bro.
no problem!
Nice tip! I got the same ugreen switch for this exact reason in early 2020 for the start of you know…. WFH..
I wish you showed how you connected the monitor?
I think most Monitors come with multiple display imports. Mine has 1 Display port and 2 hdmi
I was going to ask the very same question. I see you have already answered it. I will give that a try, thanks for your video.
this is about usb Peripherals, and not hdmi displays. so its probaly gonna be as easy as plug in the the usb-a from youre motherboard to the switch input, and than your peripherals in the switch output, that should work. and in some cases you need a extra usb-c power cable. (probaly when you use rgb keyboards that uses 2 cables ,1 for keyboard and 1 for rgb)

Just got me this one! Im using it for my PC and my MacBook Air
Outstanding! There is also a download software call Synergy. This takes some computer savey to log into your pc, no box. I perferred the switch box you presented. Thank you very much.
Perfect tutorial. My question now is how can I essentially share 1 display port from my monitor to switch between my pc and my MacBook. I have a USB hub Caldigit TS3 Plus which has just one display port
I have a pc for gaming and a Mac for everything else. This solved all the problems at my desk setup
So it works for Mac and pc?
@@mezmur_tube12 well I have the usb 3.0 version but yes, it works with mac and pc
Thank you! Do you think it will cause any delay in performance if I use razer hyperspeed dongle for my wireless mouse and headset?
exactly what i needed, both my hubby and myself each have a laptop and pc but aren't techy, so thank you for showing everything!
Will this allow for both Monitors to work on both PCs? I need to swap between a PC and a Laptop and I want to use dual monitors for both
Did you connect your monitor to it via usb? I notice only one monitor switches. Great vid!
"Here, lemme refer you to a volume licensing scam, and then a hot tip for those of you wanting a USB switch: get a USB switch."
mmm bb flame and downvote me yeah
Nice all ur items, ok ur alitrekchan is good, 👍👍👍
You are a life saver. Saved me time and money.
Your a life saver sub by the way
Thanks a lot man! I’m glad you enjoyed
I only clicked on this video cause the beautiful guy doing the video
ohh stahhhp
this is what i'm looking for because i have an older computer which has my autocad program on it, and will be getting possibly new computer to run newer windows and office programs, i saw you do something to switch monitor to use with the 2 computers, what did you do in that application as well?
Awesome presentation!!
Is there a way to control two PCs at the same time without switching between them? I would like to experiment with a game I enjoy playing. My wife and I play a game together, so when she's at work it would be nice if I could set her character beside mine and help level her at the same time I am. Just curious though.
Thank you by this helpfull video
youre welcome!
This is great for people with a PC x Console set up. Some games on console support KBM so it's great for that too but its especially useful for sending out quick text chats on your console game without having to unplug your keyboard from your pc
That’s great! I was thinking of buying a mini pc so I can stream, make vids etc and I was panicking about how I would set up my kbm to both.
Will probably get one for my Steam Deck and PC, but I need a dock too, I guess.
Time to think how to place them on my table, so it doesn't look cramped, x)
@@shi-woonyi2605 I’m dumb what’s a dock lmao
@@lucaswade._ Docking Station, I am bad at explaining but if you google "Docking Station" you will know what I mean.
that's exactly why im looking for a device like this too lol
I have the same switch. It's great and I can also recommend it.
My wireless apple keyboard isn't switching to my Dell on my Logitech mouse is. Any suggestions?
Only"
This is the exact thing i was looking for. I don't need to buy another expensive keyboard and mouse with Bluetooth switch. Have you had any issues with latency?
I use a 4 port USB KVM switch that enables me to use the same mouse, keyboard, speakers, and game controller on my Gaming PC (5950X+3090), Mini PC (5900HX), and Steam Deck. All are connected to the same monitor (Samsung Odyssey Neo G8). 😁
Heck yeah! It makes productivity so much smoother
Does your KVM switch support high refresh rates for your monitor?
@EuromonkeyVW I use a USB KVM switch, not an HDMI or Displayport switch. I only use one monitor. But yes, my monitor is 4K, 240Hz, HDR, GSYNC, 1000+ nits monitor (Samsung Odyssey Neo G8).
Can I connect goxlr to this? And switch between gaming and streaming pc?
@@xellazSounds like you're using a "USB Switch", not a "USB KVM Switch".
The V in KVM is for Video, but what you're using is only switching USB peripherals. 🤓
Super clear and helpful video 👍🏼 Do you think this would work with a PC and PS5?
thank you! it might! I haven't tried it with a console
great vid
Good device and small facter too
Thank you
captain america really geeked out after giving up his shield
Great video! Did you try it playing any games? How did it run? No input lag or anything?
I have a kvm (a very generic one, mind you) and there is a tadbit of input lag (something like a less of a fraction of a second), but nothing too shabby. Unless you are playing a game that requires you to have superb fast reflexes. So I suppose the ugreen one might fare way better than mine, which is way cheaper.
Fuck yes! This is what I need. I have a work laptop and my private PC and I'm sick and tired of having two keyboards, two sets of headphones and two mouses on my desk. Finally I can clean this mess up.
if you just want to switch mouse and keyboard, get a KVM. it will switch the display as well. My 34inch ultrawide G34WQ has one built in. One usb c cable goes to the laptop and it passes through display, mouse and keyboard.mouse and keyboard plug into the monitor. So use it mostly for desktop but if i need to work, i plug in one usb C cable and can switch back and forth with one click each time. USB switches are more for hardware like audio interfaces etc. doesnt make sense to use it for two computers and have to also switch video when a KVM is designed for that
How is the video frequency on it? Does it allow right frequency like 144 or 240?
What if I use it when first pc is turned off and the 2nd is on? Will it work? Great video !
Does this work fine with Steelseries mouse and keyboard, and also does it not have any problems with the steelseries app?
Was searching for a KVM switch. This looks good and practical. Went for the usb 3.0 tho, was only 10 euros more expensive. Hope it works well with my wireless peripherals.
Should be great for you!
Hi how did you connect 1 monitor to 2 pc. Can you make a video as well? Thank you
Very cool. Is there a version that does not require a physical touch button? Because of my disability, I cannot press a button.
Or how hard is it to press the button? Roughly how much force does it take?
Bought the 3.0 device version for a discount on amazon, having difficulty switching from one computer to another in one monitor. I tried several attempts to unplug&connect device, but it continues to show one computer only. Upset with the device, your video makes it look easy-to-use
I wish they come with wireless output option. Or wireless remote switch so I attach that to the keyboard. Or option to dedicate a key on the keyboard for the switching such as Ctrl+Alt+1.
I'm actually concerned about if there will be any input delay for when I'm gaming on other pc(gaming pc)?
wondering if this would work for a MacBook Pro with usb type c and a windows gaming pc. would you think an type c to type a cable would work?
but i want a switch that does USB and HDMI in the same switch
What about the remote? Do we need that or does everything switch with the press of that button on the device?
Thanks
How good is the button on that thing ?
How long do you think it will last if we're constantly switching every few minutes. I plant to connect my large monitor to my gaming PC and the office work laptop and it would be nice to have a single keyboard and mouce for both too, but I'll be switching very frequently.
I use it every day and I don't see it breaking any time soon!
for frequent switching I'd suggest a software solution, like Synergy or Barrier. I use Barrier most of the time, but it won't work with games that need direct access to the mouse hardware if the gaming PC isn't the server and the mouse directly connected to it. But mine is a rare case, because I need the mac keyboard hosted on the mac and the mouse connected on the gaming PC.
do you know if i could use a usb to usb c cable to one my macbook pro instead of one of the include usb to usb cables? i would have my macbook pro as one computer and my windows 10 desktop as the second.
I have a wireless headset and i want to use it for both pc and ps5 do you think this would work if i bought the 3.0 version?
Does this add latency or any type of delay in your keyboard? My keyboard is super fast and I don’t want to slow it down with this but man I would love to use this device
Hello, can you also connect a ps4 and laptop and also switch between displays?
How about monitor? Do u use a switch for the display?
Any way to integrate input switching to this? So you only click 1 button for both
Thanks for sharing a very informative video. Q: Are you able to continue watching and listening to videos on Computer 1 when you click the Switch to access Computer 2? Or does Computer 1 temporarily go into the Sleep Mode when accessing Computer 2? Looking forward to hearing back from you.
I have a macbook so if my macbook is turned off, can we use the UGREEN switch to turn it on? or... do I have to open my Macbook to just to turn it on?
I did not see how you connected the monitor. I have this product and it has no HDMI output for a monitor. How did you share the same monitor with both computers?
the device he is talking about only switches usb devices between the two pcs. As for how he switched between two pcs, he used something called kvm switch which he did not mention
if your monitor does have other output other than HDMI i.e. DP, DVI, then you can plug in another one to your other computer, then you should have an option to your monitor controls which output that you would like to use in between HDMI and the other one.
I have a KVM switch in my gigabyte m27q monitor and it works.. but with flaws. My apex pro tkl keyboard works with one pc but not the other (reliably), and the second pc freaks out and disconnects the video signal a lot and wont swap over.
It could be some cables I’m using but still trying to iron out the bugs so I can save desktop space and have one monitor to use both computers and not have to buy a separate KVM switch
It would have been better design if the switch had two buttons for two devices like the Logitech multi-device bluetooth keyboards do. I think it's more user friendly this way.
that would be cool!
ive been looking for this, i own multiple servers and its ass to try snd replug my stuff everytime
