    Lovely video, definitely you will get big soon.
    Regarding R6 video, I was using it professionally and it was usable just needed a more strict approach in handling the camera (turning it of, always having the screen open, some settings) or just using ninja V to avoid overheating. But this new release makes it much easier to use the camera in professional video environment. Also this is great opportunity for people that are tight on the budget to get an affordable R6 which is still a solid hybrid system.
    Regarding the on/lock/off switch, the 1D series had that layout so I guess they just decided to use it.

      Oh, that's why, I appreciate the education! Makes sense. No one is talking about it so it must be a fine implementation! Just a couple more days and then I'll get these in hand!

    The thing that gets me the most excited is the subject-only autofocus.
    It gives me hope that the cinema line might get this autofocus with animal and vehicle detection.

      That's a great point! It'd be great if the Cine line did end up getting the deep learning DPAF II.

    do you think focus breathing correction will work with all RF lenses in the future or only ones released after R6II?

    • @minsoochoi

      Yeah, I think Canon will do their best to get as many RF lenses compatible with the feature!

    Hi, great video and I'm very interested in getting this camera. I just have a question that might be stupid but.
    Isn't the Canon R5C similar to this, video centric, but just better in every way? Almost the same camera, but better? I dont understand...
    Thanks

      Not a stupid question! R5c is a great camera (also more expensive). R5c doesn't have the latest AF system and power management / battery life is poor. It's a tad bulkier with the cooling system as well. The R6 II addresses these issues for me. Thanks for asking!

    how many stops of dynamic range do you get from clog 3?

    • @minsoochoi
      @minsoochoi  Год назад

      I think it maxes out at like 12 or 13 stops of theoretical DR. But you're going to get 11 most of the time from the sensor.

    Would it be a better camera than the Sony a7iv?

      I don’t think it’s necessarily better-if you’re already invested in one system, then I’d go that route. However, I think it’s way better than the original R6/R5, and I would say that it’s a better even than the R5c as a hybrid shooter.

      @@minsoochoi Can you please explain why you think the Canon R6 Mark II is better than the Canon R5 ?

    • @minsoochoi
      @minsoochoi  Год назад

      @@amoergosum3 no overheating. No video limit. Dedicated video/photo knob = better hybrid functionality, better AF system, better battery life. If you don’t need anything bigger than 4K, it’s miles better than R5
