- After 8 months of living in the Dominican Republic we're finally leaving and we're so sad to go.
Throughout the course of the video we talk about all of our favourite things that we did while in the Dominican Republic including visiting Cayo Arena and Las Terrenas plus meet up with friends and made new ones!
We also talk about the things we didn't get to do that we'll have to save for our next visit. And of course we'll be back again we just have no plans at the moment but probably in 2023.
We also reveal where we're going next as we head to the airport in Santiago and out of the Dominican Republic.

As a beach guy in DR I’ve been to most of the beaches down here, but if you guys didn’t make Bahia de Las Aguilas, you guys missed the most pristine, peaceful, virgin beach in the DR. The water is so clear and on a lucky day you’ll get to swim with Dolphins. If you’re ever come back to my beautiful island, would love to take a trip there with you guys. Really great series! Definitely opened our eyes to a country that we never really gave much thought to going to, and we have been to a fair amount of the Caribbean Cabarete seems to have everything we love. DId you eventually find those flip flops Trevor?😁
Los Haitises is like Thailand in DR with native American caves the biggest bird reserve in the Caribbean, Las Dunas de Bani the Dunes in the provides of Bani, a little bit to the west Bahia de las Aguilas

I almost cried on the plane when I had to leave DR and I only went one time so I understand. I did not want to come back to the US. Dominican Republic is so homey. Thanks for sharing. Until next time safe travels.

I really loved the DR series. Because of you guys, my wife and i are purchasing a condo in las Terrenas, i hope that once is built, we could invite you one day. Next time you go back to the island, I hope you guys can do rivers and waterfalls adventures over there.
Yes, the 27 waterfalls in Damajagua are definitely a must do!

I have been researching and planning a move to Las Terrenas which is how I found your videos in the first place and all the info you gave on the island (not just Las Terrenas) helped to solidify my decision to move there from Canada. I was in the Dominican Republic when you were there I was at punta cana for 6 months. Very cheap to stay there but we like going up North which is 10 times cheaper.

We just got back from Bayhibe Dominican Republic. Best place I have ever been. I won't to visit every year for the rest of my life.
I was there in December, the hotel was ok ,the place is amazing stayed in punta cana ,but also went to a couple other places. And absolutely loved it, going back this month to stay if it all works out

I know you went to Punta Rucia but there’s a town there, where I’m from, called Estero Hondo where you can go Manatee Watching. You can also go to Playa Ensenada which is just 10 minutes from Punta Rucia.
