This was the first and only mobile game i ever played. It incorporated SNK lore very well. However it was still a ravenous dopamine and fomo monstrosity as all of these games are. I quit playing it a long time ago and i advise people not to spend their time and money on these games.
Unfortunately SNK isnt interested in taking that concept of wild crossover (going much further than KOF's own range of roster selection) to make a console game. It could be a true beat em up... doesnt even need to be a fg. That is a popular genre nowadays after all, because of the "retro" movement. I believe there is potential in that idea.
Mobile games shuts down for only 1 reason, bad monthly income and operating at a loss. 6 years was a good run but I suppose as more people quit, it will make less money until it inevitably shuts down, which is the fate of all live service games.
I have been playing this game since day 1. I have WWE, Tekken, Street fighter, Dead or Alive, Guilty Gear, and Virtua Fighter characters from the collab. It's really heart breaking to see this game ending soon 😢
I had a late start missed so much. If only I could turn back time and had a proper high specs phone for this game then... If only there were other Mobile games featuring Gintama, Tekken, Guilty Gear and Seven Deadly Sins characters... Things are never gonna be the same without this game... I'll miss it so much...
I don't play mobile games often, but given KOF Destiny was not available, I gave All Stars a shot and I enjoyed it for the time I played it. Eventually I got tired and stopped playing it due to gacha style. But even so, it saddens me this happened. Having said that, if they remove the gacha style and port it to PC I'll definitely get it.
that's why i didn't spend money on this game. all i did in it is free-to-play, have been waiting for more saga story updated in it. all the collab characters i painstakingly collect the currency to use on pulling them is still satisfying though but maybe because im a cheap free player😅

I love it because I can put Doa, Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, Samurai spirit, Gintama, All Kof 02,03, ...in same game.. For me it probably meet it end after they reach Kof 15 story where in this game, Kyo basically the strongest, and Mukai is one of crazy powerful character free past billion power.
Sad news indeed.i had guest characters from tekken and sf.But for fighting games fans,you can buy kof games for android.they are cheap and well adapted for mobile phones(i have kof 98 and kof 2000😊)
Played this during 2019, when the Tekken Event launched and up until they made it easier to earn Boss character pulls through the Bonuses and the WWE Event. I had Classic Jin, Heihachi, Kayuza, Ukyo, Mukai, Omega Rugal, True Zero, The Rock and John Cena.
I dont care about these games but i appreciate at least the initiative to collab with many different fg franchises. This game, among all gachas of fg companies, achieved a higher level of crossover. If only it was a console game...

I am with you Nabil. Gacha games are a scam and it's drm game which is a double huge loss for the player. I dropped KOF all stars after I realized that it was a waste of time when I could play and get better with SNK fighting games.
Mobiles can't last forever. But I have been seeing mobile games ported over to Switch as offline games. I think it's a good idea to try to increase revenue and preserve some of these mobile games if they've been developed well.
But the graphics are mobile type. A true standalone beat em up would be great but it must be totally made from scratch and with good technical standards for a modern console. To me, around the level of KOF 15 at least.
I always looked at it as if you had fun playing the game and you spend a lot of time playing it as long as you didn't spend an egregious amount of money then the time spent and the fun had with the game easily covered the little bit of money you put into it over the course of six or seven years. As long as you're not someone who spent thousands on the game then I don't think it's a issue at all I spend hundreds of hours in the game and over the course of 6 years maybe spend $400 but that's really nothing over the course of that amount of time
Art style will be missed... Easily recognizable, excellent capture of the characters spirit and the collabs were incredible .. My Baiken Chun-li Mai team was a true rhing and not a fantasy ! Thanks also for the music ! You'll be missed, KOFAS ! Farewell!
I just hope that this along with the console port of MS Attack means that they're done with mobile game era, just like how they distanced themselves from pachinko. Frankly their mobile games all frustrate me, those games have just enough hint of a gameplay that makes me wish for a real game. Can you imagine an actual side scrolling brawler from SNK for consoles?
I have fun memories with this game. I enjoyed all the SF and Tekken Collabs and all the story playing through all the way to the ness saga. All the collabs were so much fun. Hell i even enjoyed using the WWE characters. That's right i used the Rock and John Cena doing moves on Geese howard and so on.

You have a team of 3 and there is a mode where you can use strikers like in a KOF game. There is a picture of Wolverine wearing a Haohmaru outfit that was drawn by former SNK artist Eiji Shiroi.

I enjoy all the collabs too. I just wish we had one last collab. Netmarble also has the Marvel license. I wish we had an XMen 97 collab.
