very true the Buddha never say, theravada, mahayana or tantrayana. All who disagree has been totally wrong about making seperation of disciplines of the Buddha because all of them can get enlightenment no matter what traditions they have !
01:14:11 So sad, Unfortunately, Bhikkhunis are not even allowed an ID, meaning they are not allowed to sit for exams, a passport etc. If this legal suit against Bhikkunis goes ahead, I will lose my little faith left in Sri Lankan Buddhism. Most Sri Lankan monks are not what they are meant to be, patriarchal and culturally & materialistically influenced. If monks think they know better than Buddha himself, might as well start they start prayers reciting "I know better than you" 3 times instead of "Namo tassa bhagavato...".

Sadly some Sri lankan monks(bikkus) don't accept bikkunis. I don't know why? But we must be optimistic, we can change the future.

The impression I have for Sri Lankan monks are arrogant ; just like Thai monks, always taking advantage of their privileges as man.
