I hope this nunnery stays a place of worship and is untouched by the modern world and the People's Republic of China for a very long,long time so these women and girls can continue the grate work or prayer for the sake of the world.
China is fine with it. As for the Dali Lama , he is also a political leaders and that is what Beijing does not like. I lived in China over a dozen years. The biggest self described experts on China, have never been there and they do not speak Chinese. They are different than the U.S. Until 15 or so years ago, relations between China and the USA were better. I do NOT consider myself to be an expert on China.. The citizens of our two countries are very much alike. It is always leaders who cause any trouble.
