If Stan created superman, he would be better.
Ok Arres, I need to hear the origin of Stan Lee's Bstman
How can you notice the "Uncanny" reference but not notice the "Clark & Peter Ice Cream" and "Parker and Kent Street", when Superman picked his name? He could have just have easily picked Peter Parker, a Spider-Man call out.
Because that Easter Egg is so obvious, I doubt anyone would miss it

He looks like Homelander. If it came out before I wouldn't be surprised if it inspired him.
For reference, this debuted about 5 years before the boys first issue dropped. But honestly homelanders suit is much more reminiscent of classic superman than salden.

I really like the realistic stan lee does with his characters. Superman gets his powers based on Earth's gravity it's really cool
i think Dc adopted that power explanation for superman. Tbh i think realistic takes is the way for superheroes to connect more with the fans.

The only problem about this Superman’s strength is that due to earth gravity, it will make him weak the longer he stays. Same thing that happens to astronauts who’s been in micro gravity for too long. He would have to weight lift constantly to keep his strength up.
@@cdmalcolm2524 yeah that would be the downside. Thou this is a breath of fresh air to the explanation of his powers that its just being powered by the yellow sun. I have always wanted DC to get rid of that concept, it just feels so campy. Just like kryptonite, it seems so wacked. I know there are some conservative superman fans out there who don't really want things to change about the character but IMO i think some of the campy stuff should be removed. I believe its time for him to have a better origin and explanation for his powers and weaknesses. I think his main weakness should be magic instead of kryptonite. I don't really know what else can be done as a substitute for his power in the expense of the Sun.

Please continue with the just imagine series! Love the approach he took with Superman. The design of this Superman kinda grew on me
I think it's easy because it's the same look with somewhat exaggerated additions.
This was super interesting to learn about! I never knew that Stan Lee did his own imagining about such iconic DC characters! Now I need to see the rest of his re-imaginings!!!

@@extrakt1559 I love and respect all that stans done, even though hes taken and stolen credit away from so many creators, but il put that aside, stan is still important, very important and we needed a guy like that. But stan was an awful writer, he had no substance. It was a handful of tropes he would use, and for the time its fine but none of his writing holds up today, none of it. saying all that, i still personally enjoy it, especially his Fantastic Four but i can acknowledge that its not good writing, and still be a fan of it all. His superman here, is interesting, but its just more stan tropes, he literally just took kal and changed his name and called it the marvel version, he spent 10 minutes jumping on a couch to come up with this.
Seems like they should just use this as the origin for Hyperion or Gladiator for when they eventually appear in the mcu
Also the design for Stan’s Superman gives major Homelander vibes
As someone who literally wore holes in his VHS copy of the Dark Phoenix Saga from XTAS, I might actually cream my corn if gladiator shows up. Although he's just gonna end up looking like skinny thanos with a mohawk...

A different take on anything is almost always good just glad Stan didn't lose his creativity with age.
This is by far has to be the most unique Superman version ever there are millions copies of Marvel Superman this one by far has to be my favourite
I actually think this is a really cool origin story and would have loved for him to be a real character

It would be cool in a reality were stan lee made the Justice league.
If he took a second look, he would have been called "Peter Parker"
To think about how much Stan was the Glue for Marvel Comics throughout the years, and how he isn't around to see how the cohesiveness of the MCU transpires... man, that's so gut-wrenching.
It was Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who built up Marvel.

A lot of Stan Lee's characters had to go through a several-issue arc before they started doing serious heroics. Hawkeye, Black Widow, Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver, Ant-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man. Even Spidey didn't become a full blown hero till his second appearance. Salden's comes to a close in Stan Lee's JLA when he remembers his duty as a lawman and realises he's been acting like a self-serving asshole the whole time.

I say yeah continue w/ the Just Imagine series. Seeing classic characters reimagined has always been fun, like when DC had the Tangent universe. I had all of Stan Lee's DC saga and I agree they like Superman weren't grandslams, but it's like playing What If...? with one of the greatest comic book minds ever.
