A stalemate between a ruthless anti hero that is perfectly willing to kill and a hero that is known for holding back even when he shouldnt and would rather avoid killing.
A stalemate between such people literally means the later is far superior

Saw the movie a couple of days ago, Black Adam's wants are just all over the place, & endup not being a villain.
It was ass, they should of recast that role.
The Lords of Order are more powerful than the wizards or the old gods so what gives Fate power is just more powerful than that which gives Black Adam power ... unless the point was that vengeance is what truly gave him power & all that lightning jazz was just bonus, but in all realism here based on the source material, Nabu wouldn’t even waste time fighting Black Adam unless not doing so would compromise the balance. Order is not good or bad, unless you consider that it arrogantly sees itself as better than Chaos, but they both adhere to the balance ... as much as the story demands anyways.
Let it be absolutely clear that Nabu would not allow Kent Nelson to sacrifice himself without an heir to the helmet as the Lords of Order wouldn’t just chance that a magical host will just magically appear & fully want to take the mantle & all this before whomever is currently working for the Chaos Lords or anybody for that matter attempts disturbing the balance & why wasn’t Carter trapped as Dr. Fate ... is Hawkman not magical enough - I mean Nabu doesn’t care about taking a hero off the board as long as they are a strong enough magical host. So considering that the Black Adam movie completely destroyed what that helmet actually means then how can it be considered a great movie or a movie to save the cinematic universe. First off there was no mention of Nabu. So how is it a good movie for Dr. Fate to die in without explaining that there always has to be a Dr. Fate. That again completely destroys a story/movie so the next time D.J. bitches about Black Adam being perfect explain to him that he did a good job of making the character his own & P.B. did a good job playing a Kent Nelson-type whom just wants to be able to rest as soon as fate will allow it, the problem is that Nabu would never have allowed it & Nabu always has final say. You both played your parts well, but the problem was that your parts were written in a way that takes some nasty swings at the source material. Doesn't matter one bit how well all of the characters are played if even one of the characters is badly written & that is even more intensified when there is preexisting lore. Please stop defending that movie & instead watch Young Justice or any of the 70+ films in the DC animated universe, all of which are better written than any of the over-budgeted live-action crap-fests. Nothing has really been great since Infinity War, but then that doesn't even hold a candle to The Long Halloween, but when can a Marvel universe without mutants compete with Batman - so rhetorical that it isn’t even rhetorical anymore.

The opening cinema for the game DC Universe showed a confrontation between these two. Black Adam took out Green Lantern and The Flash but couldn't win against a fully powered ,and pissed off, Superman and was taken out easily.
We Also have injustice superman getting beat up by Black Adam until Shazam and wonder woman come help him fight off Adam

KC Shazam matched superman physically and was killing superman with magic lightening, only problem was he was brainwashed and didn't know he could shoot lightening from hands too, otherwise he would have finished superman. If Black Adam was in KC, he would just as strong as KC captain marvel (Shazam) too who was physically on par with KC superman.

Without kryptonite, red sun effect, or powerful magic spell Superman is unbeatable...
Except for when he fights people on his strength level such as another Kryptonian or Shazam or Black Adam who without magic or any of his weaknesses are all as strong as he is except for Black Adam who is said to be a little stronger than Shazam and Superman.

Superman vs Black Adam is definitely a great and evenly matched battle. Black Adam is formidable enough to fight Superman, plus magic being a vulnerability to Superman gives Black Adam an edge. I do think that Superman can defeat Black Adam, even though it would not be an easy victory.
I don't think Superman could beat Black Adam unless he outsmarted him in some way. There was a comic were BA was so pissed that he defeated dozens of heroes all at once, including Superman's cousin Powergirl.

And superman alone beat shazam who earlier destroyed black adam and he beat supergirl at the same time, so no superman negs black adam.
The technical issue with this fight is black Adam maintaining his alter-ego without reverting to his mortal form. Superman is supernatural all the time. He’s not conditioned by magick. This gives him a huge advantage over BA. The fact that he performed micro surgery preventing BA from transforming just proves that Superman is the superior out of the two specimens. In most cases he will emerge victorious.

Yes but Black Adam knew he wouldn't hit him if his back was turned. Both of them are fearless and will not Held in a fight. If I recall Ultraman was very hurt after that. Zod broke supermans jaw once and put him out of commission for a while. Breaking his Jaw doesn't mean his stronger . 2 people of the same power levels can break each other's jaws or bons and can hurt and or kill each other . So to say Adam doesn't stand a chance is being misinformed about the history of these 2 fighting. Because Black Adam has usually if not everytime they fought won. Black Adam has been said by DC that he is stronger than Captian Marvel and Superman
Still think superman could Def win especially if he has some magic blockers like they made for him in the comics.
The writers could take it a step further and have Superman accept Doctor Fate’s request to make him immune to magic. That will be one less weakness for his enemies to exploit in the comics.

Magic is one of the things that can hurt him.

I was wondering…SM, CM, and BA are basically equal in strength; but how come in Justice League War, it seemed like CM/Shazam was not as powerful as SM when they were fighting Darkseid?
Justice League War (and Throne of Atlantis, all of the movies after Flashpoint Paradox until JL Dark: Apokolips War) were based upon the New 52 continuity, which was a reboot of the DC universe that took place in 2011. That's when CM was officially renamed Shazam. Unfortunately that newfangled iteration called Shazam was less powerful than classic Captain Marvel. They didn't just change his name, they changed how his powers worked too. In the New 52, DC eliminated accidental transformations by saying the magic word casually, he had to say it forcefully with the intent to transform in order to summon the lightning. And in terms of physical ability, the New 52 emphasized there being a gap between Superman and Shazam (especially in terms of experience and familiarity with their powers), whereas in the past they'd been approximate equals. The New 52 reality lasted for 5 years, ending in 2016 with Rebirth.
In Justice League War, they treated Shazam as more of a blaster than a tank. He attacked Darkseid almost exclusively with lightning, instead of wading in and brawling with super-strength and invulnerability. It was like turning a D&D fighter into a wizard.

I wish I could find the Superman issue but there's this great scene where Superman explains "my main ability isn't my invulnerability or other powers, it's my strength. There's a whole lot of things that can injure me but my enemies just forget how hard I can hit. If I wanted to I can end most fights instantly because of the sheer damage I can do going all out". Which sort of matches most Superman fights, he takes all sorts of damage but once he unloads its the end for most opponents. Adam can certainly hurt Superman badly and he can take hits to a limit but on a sheer physical strength level Kryptonians are pretty much the peak.

Superman isn't weakened by Black Adam's punches because of being exposed to magic...his punches don't leak magic..it's not like hitting him with a kryptonite puch...although he can and has done that like that before , that's not what is happening when they are fighting. They are equals in physical strength.
