In comic books and cartoons Black Adam is a VILLAIN. They have remade him in this story as an ANTIHERO but still technically a hero. Him gladly killing people, but only effing evil people who he believes DESERVES it basically makes him, from a literary standpoint, an amalgamation of SHAZAM and the PUNISHER. Certain characters that were villains flat out seem in the movies and in some comic book stories to get rewritten as heroes but rogueish antiheroes like Punisher and not "goody goody" heroes. Catwoman and Elektra both had that happen. Not even an ANTIHERO is going to kill or horribly harm another hero, in this case Hawkman, even if that hero disagrees with their actions. To do that would make him a villain which he is not in this version of the mythology. He did NOT want to kill or really badly hurt Hawkman and if he did he would have won easily. He holds back unless fighting an evil villain that he feels deserves to die anyway, unlike Superman who ALWAYS holds back even against villains.

There are a lot of characters that have been created specifically for comic adapted movies, Thors mother in the comics was Jord/Gaeain the MCU it was Frigga. Lokis frost giant parent was female in the comics in the movie male.

Thanos even said his power is nothing to the might of Galactus, same with Odin. Thanos is closer to Odin than he is to Galactus because Galactus actually has beaten Odin also. But Odin put up a way better fight than Thanos did with Galactus, Odin and Thanos fought and Odin was going to put him down. There was never a clear winner because the fight was called off. But Odin injured Thanos like crazy and Odin wasn't even fazed by Thanos and his attacks. Galactus is a Universal Abstract being, Odin is a Skyfather god of the Norse god pantheon, Thanos without the stones is a level under Odin and several levels under Galactus.

Hawkman's durability was bolstered by Nth metal wings, weapons, and armor. Without those, it's quite likely that those fights wouldn't have been as close.

I think Thanos would win. If they bumped into each other your probably right. From what i have gathered Thanos does not run into a fight without knowledge. His intellligence is compaired to Tony Stark. He manipulates everyone around him todo what he wants. Black Adam has the wisdom of a god and still gets in trouble. Black Adam also has a self control problem which makes him dangerous, and easier to beat. I Thanos would beat through intelligence and over whelming odds.

I disagree on the verdict. Thanos has near-invulnerability, black Adam is completely invulnerable. Strength and durability are both contained in invulnerability. So, the conclusion was not very logical.
Wait, so people literally think Black Adam could take on Thanos. A black Adams durability doesn’t even come close to Thanos. And after reading comics for the past 30 years and loving Marvel and DC. Favoring and liking more DC characters a bit more because I find more of them relatable. I still give this one to marvel, some of the shit Thanos is done, and the beans that he has faced across different dimensions. Worlds in galaxies is absolutely mind numbing. In the movies he’s probably a quarter as powerful as he is in the comics. And in the movies he was able to square up with Thor, captain, America, and Iron Man all at the same time, destroying absolutely destroying Captain America shield, and those three could easily take on black Adam.
This movie had so much potential and did nothing with it, all the way from the question of murder to character relationships and powers. Nobody felt fully fleshed out , Hawkman just got thrown around the entirety of the movie, it had potential to be a GOOD movie, and it’s painfully far from it despite the resources available to it.
Mobility is both offense and defense. Hit more often, get hit less. Get a big enough speed difference, such as here, you're basically invincible. Add Black Adam level strength to it, you don't even need to worry about enemies with infinite strength and/or durability. As long as they don't have flight or high super speed, you just grab them by the ankle and fling them into space. Bye bye Thanos, Hulk, Doomsday, etc.

There are a lot of characters that have been created specifically for comic adapted movies, Thors mother in the comics was Jord/Gaeain the MCU it was Frigga. Lokis frost giant parent was female in the comics in the movie male.

I'm gonna have to disagree on Thanos being slower than Black Adam.
- Dodged Ironman's Repulser Beam, which are stated to be lightspeed giving Thanos relativistic speed.
- Fought on par with Captain Marvel, who is MFTL+
- Was able to statue Mjolnir, which can fly from the sun to earth in 2 seconds, and it takes light from the sun 8 minutes to do the same.
- Lastly, he is faster than Dr. Strange. Doctor Strange was able to move in the Dark Dimension, which is a place outside of time and space, giving Strange immeasurable speed.
Thanos is faster, hands down.
Edit: Some more feats
- Thanos is able to throw his sword faster than Captain Marvel can fly. Mind you, Carol can travel the whole universe in seconds.
- Scales to Thor who blitzed a black hole
- Thor was also able to keep up with Hela, who could throw a knife faster than the pull of the Bifrost, which is calced at trillions of times faster than light.
- Scales to Doctor Strange who could
1. Grab the time stone from the nearest star in seconds, which is MFTL+
2. Ancient One statued Lightning in Astral Form.

You might want to do your research on your comment, thanos one time blasted Galactus with everything he had and Galactus gets back up pissed and one shots Thanos, had him begging for his life. Thanos even said his power is nothing to the might of Galactus, same with Odin. Thanos is closer to Odin than he is to Galactus because Galactus actually has beaten Odin also. But Odin put up a way better fight than Thanos did with Galactus, Odin and Thanos fought and Odin was going to put him down. There was never a clear winner because the fight was called off. But Odin injured Thanos like crazy and Odin wasn't even fazed by Thanos and his attacks. Galactus is a Universal Abstract being, Odin is a Skyfather god of the Norse god pantheon, Thanos without the stones is a level under Odin and several levels under Galactus.

Hawkman's durability was bolstered by Nth metal wings, weapons, and armor. Without those, it's quite likely that those fights wouldn't have been as close.

I think Thanos would win. If they bumped into each other your probably right. From what i have gathered Thanos does not run into a fight without knowledge. His intellligence is compaired to Tony Stark. He manipulates everyone around him todo what he wants. Black Adam has the wisdom of a god and still gets in trouble. Black Adam also has a self control problem which makes him dangerous, and easier to beat. I Thanos would beat through intelligence and over whelming odds.

I disagree on the verdict. Thanos has near-invulnerability, black Adam is completely invulnerable. Strength and durability are both contained in invulnerability. So, the conclusion was not very logical.

Wait, so people literally think Black Adam could take on Thanos. A black Adams durability doesn’t even come close to Thanos. And after reading comics for the past 30 years and loving Marvel and DC. Favoring and liking more DC characters a bit more because I find more of them relatable. I still give this one to marvel, some of the shit Thanos is done, and the beans that he has faced across different dimensions. Worlds in galaxies is absolutely mind numbing. In the movies he’s probably a quarter as powerful as he is in the comics. And in the movies he was able to square up with Thor, captain, America, and Iron Man all at the same time, destroying absolutely destroying Captain America shield, and those three could easily take on black Adam.
Black Adam...his lightning speed and titanic power would overwhelm Thanos within minutes or less.

This movie had so much potential and did nothing with it, all the way from the question of murder to character relationships and powers. Nobody felt fully fleshed out , Hawkman just got thrown around the entirety of the movie, it had potential to be a GOOD movie, and it’s painfully far from it despite the resources available to it.
Mobility is both offense and defense.
Hit more often, get hit less. Get a big enough speed difference, such as here, you're basically invincible.
Add Black Adam level strength to it, you don't even need to worry about enemies with infinite strength and/or durability.
As long as they don't have flight or high super speed, you just grab them by the ankle and fling them into space.
