I main support, but play general from time to time. I can really agree that supports need a dodge roll because when you're stunlocked it's pretty much a death already.
I also prefer playing support and can confidently say that if you get stunned as a support by a raid, or even a general sometimes, you might as well put your controller down. You'll get the same result
Yeah, good luck convincing whoever it is at BB Studio that has the raging hard on for Raids the last, I don't know, year or so, of that. Supports in general need an absolute insane buff in some areas, but BB Studio seem to just go like "make supports a more viable play style? And not make them easy fodder for the raid players? Surely you jest good sir~!"
I don't usually play support, but when I do, it's the GM Sniper II. It is by far my most used support coming in at a whopping 180 sorties.
With roughly 3 k hours under my belt. Maining support. And having experience with all 3 classes. I'll always cry when I see supports get shafted repeatedly.
Gameplay is nice but what makes your channel stand out from the other GBO2 channels is your critical comentary and analyse of MSs IMO.
I'll still be watching but i hope i'll get to see more of that special content.
I have this funny round where all of us random teammates just saying "use whatever you like", and all of us collectively responded with all support team, against a well balanced team in artic base (the small arena ones where is a space rocket). And the result ? we ended up winning even bullying opponent team. I remind this is a random team that get together in quick match, but of course that because we keep each other back, support unit really need that one.
Mine was around 400 cost. Just a bunch _machinegun_ and _Gouf_ player in dessert.
No META team what a suprise. Win by 1 kill.

I’m a flex player, but kinda like you, my best suits are suits that you don’t really see out there too much on the battlefield, the generals being the Hizack and Barzam custom, and for support it is the Galluss K. I perform very well with all three of these suits, and brings a smile to my face when I’m able to stomp the current meta suits
If you want a non meta mobile suit general type then you should try out the ZII if you have it since there're already two better suits that are its mass produced counterpart the ReZel, and ReZel Commander type, so it's rarely used when there are better options.
A real shame supports at higher costs get the shorter end of the stick

On the Efreet Jaeger (one of my favorites to support the support, tbh), it's kit has:
Sniper Rifle [Standard]: (5rnds, 3.5s cooldown, 12s reload, 500m range)
Sniper Rifle [AA]: (8rnds, 1s cooldown, 10s reload, 400m range)
Sawn-off Shotty: (2rnds, 4s cooldown, 15s reload, 100m range)
Chaff Grenades: (3rnds, 4s cooldown, 13s reload, 30s jamming)
Camera Gun: (1rnd, 15s overheat, 45s duration)
As for all of its' skills (it doesn't have a large list, in the grand scheme, but powerful ones):
Dodge Roll Lv1,
Balancers,
Combo Controller Lv1,
High-Perf Radar Lv3 (450m Radar)
Stealth Lv1,
Jamming Lv1,
Precision Analysis (the standard spotting skill, +3% damage debuff to spotted targets for entire team).
So it does have a dodge roll. Interesting.

In terms of generals i wish would get buffed, honestly i just love the kampfer so much, i wish it was a tad more durable.. or that it scaled up into the higher levels better with extra skills/upgrade slots to cover its many weaknesses.
another buff i want is for the standard guntank to have the same movement speed as the mass production type. it being slow AND having no boost is just a sad.

Another thing to note is that the reason people like the level 4 Sniper 2 is because its the only one that can break legs in two shots without overtune parts.
On the topic about a support unit's lack of mobility, I am of the opinion that tracked mobile suits should have better movement speed than bipedals by default.
Bipeds should only be faster on the ground when using their boost or if they're the hovering type.
If your game always has intel of your enemy, that means the support is doing his job.
Pretty funny you went on that Efreet tangent while piloting your Sniper 2, My worst ever loss was against a player doing legs in one while I was piloting my own Sniper 2 - Lad had absolute insane aim, I had a genuine "Is he a Newtype" reaction to his moves, None of us could get close, and then one time I did I was limping about 3 seconds into the engagement.
That loss will always stick with me, it was a massacre.
When you mentioned use MS that nobody used, i had fun with standard GM level 5 where I just boost the range strength to the max and bring beam spray gun lv 5. So much fun to use.
Then I tried similar tactic with Armored GM lv 4 with Beam Gun lv 4. It was harder to play lol. Cause with higher cost, other ms has higher beam resistance.
But when it comes to general, 1 particular MS makes me wonder the purpose of its existence: Zaku II Type S. Its supposed to be Char's Zaku with 3 times faster speed. But maaaaannnnn that one really hard to use. You can try that for your video. Good luck K9!
As a new player coming in to the steam version of the game. I definitely feels that conflict of the archaic design philosophy contradicting the newer skill-stuffed suits.
It's like they made a very inflexible base framework of the game to simulate OYW suits, and they had to use skills and weapon stacking and stuff to patch it up to make later suits feels not jank

Enjoying baiting & interrupting combos of Psycho Zaku players in cost 500 matches with the GM Sniper II
I beleive it's in the DP store now, But maybe the Gaza-C is something to consider looking at? It's a suit with a very limited armaments and skills. Has a very unique playstyle overall.
And im pretty sure im the one guy I ever see playing it in the 450/500 range lol.

I just think it's funny that it's supposed to be a team game qnd there's raids with 1 hit ko melee attacks just for supports, God have mercy on you if it's higher cost and it's one of those stealth heavy attack raids.
I remember going out of my way to use a lvl 5/6 zaku cannon just out of spite against raids a while ago when that all started to become a thing
Right? Like it seriously wasn't enough to give raids type advantage and make them faster than most supports, so they gave them stealth and over the top unnecessary melee attacks. Not sure how that's supposed to be fun for anyone.
honestly I think least the GM sniper II should get at least one dodge roll even though it's a support because it's a really slim support, between a walking arsenel support and just a sniper I'd actually pick the sniper not just support a sniper raid and sniper general )WD Sinper II), be not afraid the man who mastered many weapon but one who mastered one, not the best advice but I can say it I've played so much GM sniper that between me getting a bad scoreboard/winlose a match is dependent on the team formation, heard people keep calling for buffing the sniper with the bullpup as a secondary thought I kinda agree I wont mind they give the sniper more damage, I've manage to do 5k damage on advantage with a lv4 sniper II and I want to see that number goes up to 6k
Perhaps you could cover the GM Night Seekers? I don't usually see the original suits.
I think I tend to see the lower cost raid version. The (V) version, however, has been in a while I guess since last spotted.
GM sniper 2 before the buff it's was still good at native cost 400 or 450 but at higher cost 500 or 550 it couldn't do much damage. Now the buff really made a change to the GM sniper 2 and can be a high threat support at 500 or 550 but at that cost there is a huge risk against powerful raids, also the 550 Sniper 2 when fully lvl and max range at 100 can now do insane damage to general and brake legs like candy. I once fought 2 GM sniper 2 at 550 in desert map 6v6 my God I hated them 4 to 5 shots would instantly kill me or brake legs and they were just sitting in the back chilling and sniping the shit out of my team 😂
Could you cover the Desert GM and the Armored GM?
Possibly. Desert GM could be a little faster.

In my view If you have some skills no matter what you are using It wasn't really affect your performance
Most 600 supports are really solid.
Make it _thrice_ for the RAID.. 😂
I have a personal list of MS that could be cool for you to cover:
*Support:* Shezarr Jesta Type B: I've played this suit a few times and it didn't go well. I even tried switching playstyles, but to no avail.
*General:* Nero: non existent compared to its Raid counterpart
*Raid:* FA Gundam Thunderbolt: underrated MS and very fun to use. I get into the zone a lot w/ this unit and i also like putting on some jazz to feel like Io Fleming lol.

love the thunderbolt gundam, my issue with it is that all of its weapons reload too slow
@@jake120007 that and its also very fragile. My boi definitely needs a buff.
Nero: Nonexistent to it's raid counterpart. Cause why take the normal when you can damn near one shot kill almost anything with the trainer's power attack? Seriously, I've had Nero Trainer's cleave upwards of 66 to 75% of my health off even when I'm in a General.
Picking the right camo for the map will make or brake a support.
