The picture of Al Capone and associates in hot springs Arkansas 1930 is originally the picture of actors from TV series The Boardwalk Empire.

Why is it incredible that a public library 'like that' ever existed? There were tons of them in the UK. and throughout Europe, uno....in civilization.

@1:14 = Part of the cast of MARKED WOMAN (1937) with Mayo Methot, Isabel Jewell & Rosemary Lane = Jane Bryan. Star was the unknown little dynamo named Bette Davis.

Not sure what is meant by "real-life saga". Photo at 1:08 with prostitutes features Bette Davis sitting in the middle of the group .😒Just tell us what movie it's from! I suggest not writing dumb descriptions. We can judge if a woman is beautiful or not, if a man is well-dressed or not, whose young and who isn't. Skip the inane descriptions. Still, I do enjoy looking at old photos, so thanks for that.

At 3:04 it is Thursday 3rd April 1924 not 1929. Beulah Annan died of TB on March 10th 1928 so would be difficult to be still alive over a year later.

I wanted to enjoy this but not with modern music. The 1930s had great music and there are so many recordings of this music from the 1930s or late 1920s. Sorry to say this lacks authenticity.

Your claim that the Great Depression "made the rich richer" is flat-out wrong. The GD affected every class of society adversely.

The photo at 7.30 - Well Armed Capone Mob, Chicago 1931 - might be mis-titled. I suggest they are FBI men with Hoover on the right. What do others think ?

Really sad to see that a movie screenshot is included within these historical pictures. Sorry, you lost my trust. Bye.
