It just occurred to me, they have GOT to get Luis on this freaking show. He can like, "hey bro, I know like the ant-man, were tight ya know...". Jennifer can have him on the stand and asks him a yes/no answer when Luis will go into one of his 5-minute montages.
Tatiana Maslany only does motion capture for her face. The on set She-Hulk is played by a real person who is really there and her name is Malia Arrayah. She is 6'5" just 2 inches short of She-Hulks 6'7". I do not know if the shows She-Hulk is only 6'5" or if Malia Arrayah wears platforms to make up that 2".
I loved the end credits image of Pug's closet of sneakers. Besides the "Iron Man 3" sneakers of Iron Man's Mark XLII armor, there are sneakers for Juggernaut, Doctor Strange, Speedball, Ghost Rider, Falcon, Nova, Hulk, Luke Cage, Namor, Electro, Hawkeye, Frog Man, Bishop, Green Goblin, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Moon Knight, Iceman, Wolverine, the Thing, Vision, Cyclops, Black Panther, Cable, Captain America, Deadpool, Silver Surfer, & Thor.
Not only did we get a great episode with Jen finally embracing the name She-Hulk but Jen FINALLY has suits tailored to her made by the MCU’s version of Edna Mode. Also Titania is a great antagonist for the show, any villain that makes you so mad that you wanna punch them is doing a great job at being a villain. And then the GOLDEN HORNED HELMET AT END AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! It was so great we didn’t even NEED a post credit scene! But you should look closer at the shoes in the credits, there are some great Easter Eggs in there, including Deadpool!
As advertised, this is a fun lawyer show. Screw the haters. Also, I'm fully expecting to see Avingers and Avongers merch and/or cosplays at comic cons.

I get that LA conversation because I live in New York City so there is always an element of IYKYK whenever something is set there and they reference landmarks right by where i live.
This has been a great show for me. I am down with all the LA stuff, it is all already recognizable because of media/pop culture gestalt. I personally love that this is not "obviously" serious and is exploring silly and sad at the same time.

His fiance is She-Hulk head writer Jessica Gao, and he was one of the guys She-Hulk swiped past on her phone (dressed in sailing/yachting outfit holding a cat) in the previous episode!! His design for the She-Hulk tv show Megamoji vinyl desktop buddy looks amazing and shows some of the purple and white outfit, before its shown in the show!! (There's also a Smart Hulk megamoji !!)
Nice visual wrap up with story of Jen embracing the name She-Hulk, and then finally getting some clothes that fit both personas. It dawned on me this episode that both characters looked so000 uncomfortable in that huge suit.
I’m getting Sex and the city vibes from this show in a good way. The courtroom scenes was definitely more serious because of Mallory. We need more of Nikki and puig 😂.Great tease at the end 😈 9/10
Yeah this one had the most Sex and the city vibes so far. It's gonna keep going too cuz we still have that episode where she's out with ladies at some ranch.
I'm in the UK and know enough about LA to get most of the references. I do happen to live in the town where some of Secret Invasion was shot (the scene with the explosion in the trailer was shot in The Piece Hall, Halifax).
Another wonderful episode. I also loved Daredevil's classic yellow suit teased. Titania roasting She-Hulk in this episode was petty. The return of creepy Todd Phelps. Luke Jacobson was giving me Edna Marie "E" Mode vibes. Pug and Nikki are a fantastic duo. She-Hulk episode 5 easter eggs: Pug and his surprisingly large shoe collection deserve credit for the latest Marvel comics reference. Here's the complete list of Marvel characters who aren't technically in the MCU but have shoes on the wall in the credits: Nova, Namor, Cyclops, The Thing, Deadpool, Ghost Rider, Cable, Iceman, and Man-Thing. We know Namor will be in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Man-Thing was spotted ' in the Werewolf by Night' trailer.
My personal experience with LA (from the east coast, been living here for 4 years) is that people who are LA natives love it here, and for transplants it's a mixed bag, and I think that's because it is a very unique city so some people really vibe with it and some people don't. And some people have preconceptions about it/what living here means so when it turns out differently for them it's easy to shit talk it.
I'm from Massachusetts and I didn't get any of the LA references, but it was enough that I got it. I agree that they did just enough so I could follow, but it didn't feel forced either. Good balance.
I agree with the whole Los Angeles setting thing, because personally I love the 2004 Punisher with Thomas Jane because it's set in my hometown of Tampa so I recognize set pieces in the areas I grew up near they made it all the more fun to watch
I'm really growing to love she-hulk. I feel like they're reaching a small niche in the mcu fandom and it means the world to feel represented like that.
This show might be the most comic-accurate portrayal in the MCU 😂 Issue 19 of the She Hulk comic had Jen Walters in court, under oath, having to name every guy she ever slept with as the She Hulk.
I never thought about it being too inside baseball. That never crossed my mind. So many shows that are based and filmed in many places that features the location. Hawaii-5-0 is a great example. Y'all so awesome! Have fun in Italy Hector. We will miss you!
As someone who has never lived and only transited through LA, it's not too LA. I don't get references like Magic Castle, but I don't need to. I mean every New York show ever is like "Look at all this New Yorky New York stuff!" It's set in LA, it should accurately represent LA.

I don't care what the haters say. I love this show. It might be the funniest show in the MCU so far. The entire cast is brilliant, the chemistry is amazing and the delivery of every line is perfect.
As someone from the other side of the pond, I don't feel I'm missing out on the local colour. I can see how it's great for someone who lives there but it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the show at all. And I'm REALLY enjoying the show.
Slightly better than last week, but not by much. The whole courtroom battle over the She-Hulk trademark was nice and compelling. That looked like something that could happen in real life. Also, Pug being a sneakerhead is cute. I need to get me some "Avongers" merch. I also wanna give a shout-out to Jameela Jamil as MCU Titania. Last but not least, the Daredevil tease at the end? *chef's kiss* I can't wait for next week!
With the trouble that some people have with it being too LA, that's crap. How many shows that are shown that are based in NY and it has scenes and other inferences that it is in New York. No one ever has any issues, why east coast bias. The "World revolves around NY", so it's okay to do that . So now this show is doing that with LA and there is problem. I am born, raised, and lived in the LA area for 50+ years, it's about time. She Hulk is great !!
Agustin! East LA Bros! I'm was born in ELA as well! Although; I grew up all over California, I now live in Washington State. I'm loving this show; it is totally Awesome, and I want more She-Hulk!
If i remember correctly, melvin got arrested in s3 when they fought off the feds coming to catch DD. If they keep that story going that could be a reason why matt needed another tailor for his suit
Melvin Potter was put in jail by the end of Daredevil S3, not to mention that he was at odds with Matt. So it makes sense that he would look for someone else to make the suit, and why not, change the design (reason for that to be revealed soon).
Loving the show so far, and I do hope we get some Matt Murdock. On another note, someone mentioned it on Twitter (and I agree with it), that being set in L.A., there is near zero Mexican representation in She-Hulk (aside from the "I love Mexico" shirt, which really was when they were in "Mexico" with no Mexicans on sight lol). It's obvious that Nikki and Pedro the bartender (same guy from the Cobra Kai liquor store) are Hispanic, but they could very well be any other ethnicity and it would not affect the story whatsoever. Speaking of Cobra Kai, that show had more Hispanic/Latino representation in their very first episode than the MCU has had in its entire run (4 phases so far). Keep it up homies!
I would imagine that in every superhero universe there are people who make a business out of creating super suits and indestructible/adaptable regular clothing for powered individuals. Wonder what the price was for Jen's stuff? They didn't get into that part
I found this to be another great episode. Very well-done and very enjoyable. And, I feel like the LA-ness of this has been covered in lots of movies and shows over the years, and so I think it is all a part of the pop culture landscape.
I really hope we get a post-credits scene with the designer and it's revealed he's the mutant fashion designer, Jumbo Carnation. Because he's the one best designers in Marvel, and in-universe designed the Hellfire Gala outfits which all looked incredible.
I've never been to USA, but i'm pretty familiar with LA culture from movies/TV shows and the media in general so i enjoy most stuff. Saludos desde Republica Dominicana!
Didn't Melvin go to prison near the end of the Netflix Daredevil run? Could be why Matt needs a new armourer. Regarding the LA Inside Baseball thing... NYC and Jersey City have had their Inside Baseball moments so it's perfectly fine for LA to have it's self aware moments.
It's funny how some are saying how did Titania produce things so quickly. Clearly, those people don't know how influencer products often work especially in the high fashion field. Things like these types of things are bought in bulks overseas and is labeled even before trademarks. Happens all the time. Just look at the Later phone cases.
I’m curious if maybe Daredevil is going with the yellow and red to separate his image from when Bullseye had his suit on?!?!? Or really it’s probably more of a symbolic thing calling back the fact that it is his first suit in the comics, and this is his “first” MCU appearance.
Watch the uncut reaction for this episode of She-Hulk: bit.ly/shehulk-105-uncut
Cmon son. If Boy Meets World can have a character named 'Topanga' then folks will be okay with these L.A. references in the show.

As someone who has only passed through both places, I think She Hulk does as good a job with LA as Ms Marvel did with New Jersey tbh
I'm loving this series so far and this ep was probably my favourite.
Anyone else thinking that the suit designer is the MCU's Edna Mode from The Incredibles....if we see him again, we need a "No Capes", line please!
I imagine Dr Strange's cloak hold a sign: Objection!!!
Best reaction channel on RUclips!
Congrats and keep up just being cool dudes. Hugs from Portugal
@@slowodanx Netflix show is canon. Why is that so hard for you to understand??
The meta prospect of making licensed knockoff merch is so fucking funny. LOL This was a really fun episode.
