- Recipe here: www.joyofbakin... Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Cheese Shortbread Crackers. These savory Cheese Shortbread Crackers (Biscuits) are sure to become a favorite. Bite into one and you will enjoy a buttery crisp texture and a burst of cheese flavor with just a hint of heat that lingers on the tongue. Serve warm from the oven or at room temperature. They make the perfect Hors D'oeuvres but are also very nice alongside a salad or a bowl of soup.

I look forward to making a batch of these, but will definitely double your recipe! This is something my 13 year old granddaughter can help me make the next time she visits. Who doesn't love a simple, good tasting chesse cracker? Your cute puppy dog standing nearby is absolutely adorable. Please ask your camera person to give us more glimpses in the next video!
These look delicious! I will have to make them for friends. Thank you for another wonderful Thursday ❤️
Love those, made double batch and half with mustard powder and the other with hot paprika powder. Amazing. And cheese as being lucky to live in the Netherlands I used old dutch cheese. Sooo great flavour. Great recipe. Thank you
Thank you for showing us your version of cheddar shortbread. They're one of my favourites.
She really knows her stuff. Everything she demonstrates is bang on, The Joy of Cooking
recipes also fantastic. You don't need to change anything.
I always have success when I make these recipes. When I started out with baking I followed blogs that often had great pics, but the recipes rarely came out perfectly. Now that I am more experienced I know that few people put in the work that you do for recipe testing. While it's not a guarantee, seeing measurements in grams is usually a good indicator that a recipe is actually tested.
These look SO good! ALWAYS look forward to your videos ❤️
Thx for the new recipe...keep well
J'adore ce gâteau surtout surtout les graines de sésame !c'est délicieux 👍 thanks
Just made this crackers and it is so heavenly. Thank you so much.

Carrie looked so excited for the crackers while you were making them! 😂 These look delicious! I’ll have to try them some day!
Don't eat cheese and crackers while watching this video because you will miss nearly every word.
"Easy" CRUNCH CRUNCH
"Butter" CRUNCH CRUNCH
"Sesame Seeds" CRUNCH
"Nutty" MMMMM CRUNCH
That's about all I heard, so I am watching again because I know I will be making these.
As Stephanie says, "So you must try them."
No doubt about that. I especially want to try making them with gruyere cheese. I can't wait!
1st 🙋🏻♀️ hi Stephanie I love these savoury crackers they look great. Thank you again for another great recipe
That is wow Stephen outstanding thank you
Oh they sure look tempting. Will give this recipe a try as you make it look oh so easy to make. Thanks for sharing the recipe, Stephanie. 👍
It's chucking it down outside it's my wife's 50th I don't even have to leave the house to get the ingredients, oh she's a lucky woman, who needs expensive presents when one can make cheesy shortbread goodies
What a lovely recipe I shall definitely be making them also love your precious dog thank you .

Two favourites...
A recipe with CHEESE and sesame seeds and...
A focus on your little dog at your feet licking its lips! This little one always takes me to my happy place.😁
As usual, your video makes one want to rush to the baking supplies and get baking (and eating!!!!!). Thanks.👍👍
Great and easy recipe. Thanks.
No need to add any salt, right? Is it because of the massive amount of cheese?
Loved seeing your curious and cute dog...hugs to her!
You could add salt. But I find you don’t need it because of the cheese,
Fun recipe! Thank you for sharing❣️
Thank you, Stephanie, for the recipe. I tried out the recipe. I am wondering why my crackers are really flat and crumble around the edges. Could you help me figure out where I could have gone wrong?
Hi Stephanie good morning how are you? I have a question are you going to upload a new video? every Thursday noon? and I enjoyed watching your videos I like the recipe cheese short bread crackers

I love them already!
Wonderful recipe!
Thank you very much for this video!
Have a nice week!
Hi ...your recipes are simply superb! Can we replace cheddar cheese with cottage cheese (hard pressed)?
I'm sorry, but I've never tried that, so I'm not sure how it would work.
I don't recall ever seeing sesame seeds in the grocery store 🤔. These sound great with the contrasting flavors. Thanks
They are expensive if you buy them from a grocery stores on the spice isle in those small glass bottles. Sometimes they have them in the health food section in plastic bags or in the International Foods section. Better place is from bulk food stores or international markets or even on line.
Good ideas. I will look
I'm gonna do this today ..😍
This cracker look delicious, yummy; thank you for another great recipe and have a wonderful day.
Outstanding. I'm gonna say great with chili. I'll find out....................... 👍👍

Something to make for the weekend simple and delicious wonderful recipe Stephanie 💕💕💕💕😊😊
Great recipe! I’m going to try it today! Reminds me a little of a Middle Eastern cookie or cracker with the sesame seeds! Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing this recipe Stephanie!
Wow looks yum.🥰
Those crackers look really good Stephanie.🤤🤩
Looks good.. I'm gonna try these cookies..
I've been eating these since I was little. My grandmother would always bake these at Christmas and put them in a big tin and give them to my parents at Christmas. We all loved them. (My father loved them with cocktails.) She'd put a pecan half or a piece of a pecan in the center of each one. Your recipe sounds much better than the one she used as she would use Cheese wiz (phood) instead of real sharp cheddar ( maybe to avoid having to grate the cheese?). She did definitely use cayenne pepper though. I loved the bite you get towards the end just as you swallow.
The pecan half in the center sounds like a good idea. I'll have to give that a try.
@@joyofbaking Yes. They complemented them well and kind of made them look cute. But I think the sesame seeds would make them easier to eat.
It is funny how my grandmother really loved all the convenience foods when they came out... when she certainly could have stuck to better quality old fashioned ingredients if she'd wanted. The cheese she used came in a roll/tube shape in the fridge section of the grocery store and was covered with clear plastic and was a soft cheese you were supposed to squirt out on to a cracker. (It wasn't the stuff that comes in a jar. )It was/is probably loaded with flavor enhancing excitotoxic chemicals which probably helped to make them so addictive. Our family was always bummed out after we'd finished them and the tin was empty.
This is a great one for when I'm craving a savory cheesy snack. Yum!
They look so delicious Stephanie ,another great recipe must try 👌❤
I wonder if I can make them with cream cheese ?
They would be totally different with cream cheese.
So easy recipe with full of flavours 🤤
This is interesting because I have recently been searching for homemade cracker recipes to make. This cheese cracker looks scrumptious! Thank you for sharing and showing how to make them, Stephanie.

Mam pls make kitkat cake 🎂
I want yur recipe only 💐🌹💞
🥰🥰🥰
Hello Stephanie! I'm a big fan of your channel which I follow for years already. 🥰 I'm cutting out sugar itm due to lent and I was wondering if you could maybe make a sugarfree recipe (but still sweet, not savory 😉). The only sugarfree baked good I know is bananabread which is nice but boring. I bet you have better ideas!! Thank you for your great videos. Sweet greetings from Austria! 😊🥧
very nice 👍😋Thank You
Good Day Steph, just made your crackers and I'm enjoying them now. I didn't have any cayenne pepper so I substituted Toasted Onion. It's basically dehydrated carmelized onion. I grinded it to a powder and mixed it in. Toasted onion and cheddar crackers, Yum. This recipe is good because of its versatility, just add your favorite combo. 👍✌💗🌷
Oohhh!, love the idea of toasted onions. 😋. Thanks.
@@spanish_regime_4hundred363 They are made by a company in Bayone New Jersey called GEL Spice Co under the brand name Spice Supreme. They are also great slightly rehydrated and added to homemade bread. ✌
...These cheese shortbread crackers look amazing; not hard to make; will try this recipe using GF flour; thank you.
Your doggie hopes you will drop a treat for him!
Hello
Cabot creamery white sharp is my favorite. I have a hard time finding it, I finally found it at Walmart, weird, huh?
Hi Stephanie, these crackers looks good but i have a question, why you say "rotate your baking sheet front to back" ? if you have a convection oven, you don't need to do that, cause the fan circulate the heat inside the oven, which i don't have but my oven bake evenly so no problem on that side ! but anyway thanks for sharing !!!
Even with my convection oven, I find that one side cooks a little faster, so I like to rotate my pans halfway through baking. If you don't have that problem, then you don't need to do that step.
Wow! This recipe doesn't need eggs!
I just made them. They were so good. I coated some with white sesame seeds and some with poppyseed. Thank you for the savory treat. For right now, I need to make more savory than sweet since my diabetic management isn’t that great
Always good recipe from you
Delicious. Love your. Dog. Looking hopefully that a treat is coming his way.
Hi from France Joy, I am a fan of your RUclips channel, I will try this recipe soon, thank you and happy continuation
Making Manicotti this weekend and I think some Parmesan / Asiago crisps will go nicely.
They look so delicious.. yummy.. lovely recipe thank you 🌟🌟😍💖😋
Thank you for another great recipe and video, Stephanie!! Please give your dog a hug for me. 🥰
I love anything with cheese
Those look great! Would the recipe with rice or almond flour? Thanks
You could substitute some of the all purpose flour with rice or almond flour.
Just made the crackers absolutely yummy ,but no way could I get 38 only got 20
The number would depend on the size you make them and their thickness.
Video good so lovely 🥰
I've always called them cheese straws and usually they are shot out of a cookie press. Southeastern US.
Love this and can’t wait to try! Love your video from Hong Kong❤️
I made these and have to report that they are truly delicious and pretty easy to make. I really enjoy and appreciate watching Stephanie’s thorough demos and helpful tips! My question for the Chef would be on best storage of these delicious treats: can they be refrigerated? Or, airtight container would be sufficient enough? I prefer them crisp and would not want them to loose that quality… Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I like to store them in the fridge in an airtight container.
@@joyofbaking Thank you!
Sounds interesting
I love short bread
Thanks so much Stephanie. Love your videos!🌞

These look divine! Can't wait to try! Also, love the little doggie, so cute!
Thank You
Tried these today and everyone at my place just loved them.
Extra mature cheddar cheese in the UK is Extra sharp in the US?
I'm not sure what the difference is between the UK and US labeling of cheeses. I just like to use a cheese with a lot of flavor.
Extra sharp is for mature audiences.:-)
WOW, I do them today. Can I use Parmesan cheese?
Yes, you could do that.
Mouthwatering recipe I must try this recipe
😃
Oh. Well, this seems easy. Thanks Stephanie!
Good morning Stephanie!! 💛💛💛
👍
Another delicious recipe!! Parmesan cheese works too? Thanks 😊
Yes you can use Parmesan.
