The water I put in the oven evaporates while preheating, how do you get this to preheat if you cannot add water while hot?

Good day! In a wall oven, water is typically used to create steam during the preheating process, which can help with baking by creating a moist environment. However, if you find that the water evaporates too quickly, you might need to adjust your approach. Here are some tips: Preheat with Water: You can still preheat your oven with water, but you may need to add more water or use a larger container to ensure that there's enough moisture in the oven when it reaches the desired temperature. You might also try using hot or warm water instead of cold water to reduce evaporation during the preheating phase. Use a Larger Container: If the water is evaporating too quickly, use a larger oven-safe container to hold the water. A larger surface area of water will take longer to evaporate. Remember to consult your oven's user manual for any specific guidelines or recommendations regarding the use of water during preheating.

@@Frigidaire okay its a range oven and has the water vessel in the stove which you add up to 2 1/2 cups of water. So no containers although I have been adding one since the water is gone by the time preheating is complete. I will try it with hot water! Thanks!
