15:42 if anyone is wondering which ones are most worth your time, i highly recommend peranakan houses. It’s located at joo chiat / katong, an up and coming area full of cafes and bars and restaurants and shops. It’s a wonderful heritage area with so many great places for photo opportunities. And of course, the botanic gardens is so lovely as always. I recommend visiting orchard (just a quick look around, to be honest if you’re not here to shop there’s nothing much at orchard) and then entering botanic gardens via the entrance nearest to orchard (tanglin gate, a 5 minute bus ride from orchard mrt)
MRT MRT cards are available in the small private shops before entering MRT. $10 with $5 available for travel . You can top them up with cash at MRT. The international credit cards can also be used to gain entry to MRT. But my Indian CC was blocked after the first ride.
