Hello Ben, I like like your whole family 's videos that you put out once a week or maybe twice a week depending on what you have to offer on your videos and I do watch them four or five or six times of the same video. Ben, you should be proud of yourself because you got the job done on your tree stumps and a job incomplete. Even though you don't like a stump grinder, you should be proud of yourself that you got the job done.👍👍 I think Ben & Meg, I think now you are the most informative homestead videos out there. I would like to have more videos if you can make them, but I understand you have a busy schedule in your day. Whatever you decide to have as one of your videos, I enjoy it no matter what it is no matter what the topic is. Ben & Meg 🪵
As always, it doesn't matter what you are filming, it was very enjoyable. Instead of a nap-stand, Ben has turned into a portable chair this time. Elizabeth is very cute. And Buggie's laugh is contagious.
With these storms from Debby going through, hope you & your family are safe & sound. Stay dry, we are on the coast of NC near Myrtle Beach, SC across the state line . These rains are incredible. Prayers to you & your lovely family. 🙏
Wow, stump grinder! Yay, can take out the stumps under the place where you are putting the addition to the house. Good thing you can grind them out of existence! It looks like it takes a while but it's great that you can take it down to ground level. Good thing to get the biggest one done first! At least you got those taken care of! too bad the stump grinder wouldn't lock into place as it worked on the stumps. Our pigs always moved their feeders all over too! I'm so glad you are having classes for people wanting to learn how to process pigs! Yay, Billy putting on an event! Cool, you guys are going! Elizabeth is such a mellow baby that you guys can go! Wow, process a sheep and a Chef is there to prepare it! Fantastic! Homesteaders United is the festival name and Mike Dickson's family will be there. Yum, pesto, pasta, and chicken! That sounds wonderful Meg! I made 4 batches of basil pesto last week. It's been great to have a taste of summer! Thanks for this video Hollar family!
We had a huge tree taken down that was too tall and close to the house for my husband to safely take it down! It was about 3 feet around and only about 3 inches of the outside was not rotted out! Thankfully he had them grind the stump of that tree and one other! Dealing with stumps has been challenging but was excited to see you grind those yourself! After you talked about the aches you might have in your arm I was very thankful my husband who is almost twice your age had someone else do it! Great job! And Meg, chicken pesto pasta is my favorite comfort food! Looked delicious 😋💖Peace and blessings guys 😉
Ben, you are offering an amazing opportunity for people learn.. first hand, what is almost a lost art. Thanks for getting in there and keeping this knowledge of the land Alive. If I were 40 years younger.. I would be right there. 👍
Ben, in your spare time, l.o.l maybe make a wooden brace to put the pig bowls in, to keep it in place. Jason, from COG HILLS FARM MADE 2. WORKS PERFECT. I understand each moment you're busy. The classes will be fabulous. All the food is Included. Just to far for me. Love and praying for you. Great SHOPTALKS. SE MICHIGAN 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 We are at 62° 4" rain, more coming tonight. Yesterday 20°+ Higher. Thank you. Dinner looked delicious as always.
I have been watching and loving your channel for a long long time. I'm from a broken alcoholic family, and I just think its so awesome that Ben says the grace at your table. It is a beautiful thing for me to see your family structure.
🇦🇺Under the new addition could you make a small root cellar with racks for vegetables? Or would the humidity be too much? It would be good to be able to get the extra veg out of the kitchen/ lounge room.
Love watching the boys...one seems like the gardener and one is always there for the tools and equipment and then one is definitely a gentle baby whisper. ❤
Your family is my favorite. I've been watching your channel for about 5 or 6 years now and really like your content. Missing some Buggy videos, she's growing so tall!
Ben, yes it may have taken a little longer with the stump grinder, but it has to be easier. It's nice that you offer classes for butchering pigs especially if your new to homesteading Meg, as usual dinner looked delicious and can't believe Elizabeth is 3 months old already and so adorable just like Buggy's laugh. Hopefully you don't get a lot of rain from Debby Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
I never want to revert to reality along with Sheepishly Me and Weed Em And Reap. You guys are just so amazing. At 73, I wish I'd had parents like you. ❤
Heck yah your butcher classes ! Very cool can’t wait to watch this season. I watched when Becky was there ! And look at that beautiful family all around the dinner table ❤
I hope you all are safe! Hopefully it will depart your area tonight! We had three days of pouring rain in Southwest Florida. Our yard is still flooded but my garden is fine. I’m now having to water the raised beds.
Please please please wear eye protection when using any machinery that throws wood or wood chips. Please! My husband lost his eyesight in his right eye using a chain saw ( he was very experienced) with just a tiny sliver flying into his eye. It happened in just a nano second. He has undergone 3 very expensive surgeries to try to regain some of his sight. I really don’t want you to have to through this when all you have to do is wear a pair of safety glasses. Please consider my words. Kim, RN of 40 years. Midwestern farmwife to a stubborn farmer….
I love anything that makes life easier. Excellent Ben. 👏 Not getting things done as planned is the Story of My Life. Sounds like a great outing. I adore Mike the Fit Farmer. Lovely family. ❤
Just got through grinding a stump of a tree we had to cut down that was 52" across in all directions. That tree was an all-day job for 6 men and a huge Crain.
This week I wished I had your wood chipper. Cause I had so many trees and bushes too trim out. And boy has it been so hot. Sweat dripping hot. With no wind at all.
Everyone having to listen to that stump grinder, including you Ben, was hoping the grinding would be over soon. Thanks for the pleasant music while you worked.
Once again a brilliant video,I purposely don’t watch the videos I leave them for about a month because they go by so fast when watched individually and that’s the sign of good videos.thank you for your precious time.kindest regards tam 🏴❤️🏴❤️
🎉Hollars! I referred a few young family homesteaders to your channel. Hoping they see your value as we all do. Yesterday a hurricane or tornado is climbing the East coast, hope you're all safe. 30" of water is a lot!
Love your life, you guys are full of knowledge and your videos are inspirational and motivating 😊 I live off grid and I learn a lot from watching your channel, thank you!
Love your stump grinder I had a hugh old boxelder was almost three feet wide but had a rotten spot inside took to planting flowers in it took five years before it was gone. Lol I missed it.
Ben I do wish they have mini version of the stump grinder. I do have a few smaller stump and keep falling over them. I was even thinking to put some oil on them and burn them. Not sure if would work.
Wow you have beautiful hair didnt know it was that long .Cant waite to see the build done .😊😊😊😊

Ben I appreciate the effort and love you show for your family. You are a great example to your young men. Such a rarity in my life. Thank you.

🇦🇺Under the new addition could you make a small root cellar with racks for vegetables? Or would the humidity be too much? It would be good to be able to get the extra veg out of the kitchen/ lounge room.
Yes. Progress is progress. Stumps to where they're NOT driving you crazy.... priceless.
Love watching the boys...one seems like the gardener and one is always there for the tools and equipment and then one is definitely a gentle baby whisper. ❤
A positive to hiring the stump grinder is that you now have some chips to add to your pile.
It is true hindsight is 20 20. loved the sky scape at the end. Great to see all the Hollars. ❤❤🌻🌻
It's good to see your family sitting together at the table praying and eating 🙏
She just stares at the camera 📷. Sooo sweet❤❤
It always brings a smile to my face when I realize a new video has been posted! 😊
Not only are those stumps no longer a trip hazard, but also great for compost!
Hoping you'll all be safe as Debby passes through. Happy to hear you'll get to see Mike and family again soon. Both your families have expanded! 🕊🙏🎶🎶
