Marcelito was born with the ability to sing in soprano, tenor and baritone ranges. He's also singing in both English and Italian, neither of them are his native language. And he's sitting down which makes a big difference. He was abandoned by his mother at age 7 and grew up on the streets. He cleaned chicken cages for money and would sing when he was frightened. Marcelito is completely self-taught and never had any training. He has been touring since 2022 in the U.S., Canada, and other countries. He has a big heart and a great sense of humor. He was on America's Got Talent and sadly only came in 4th, but won when he entered Phillpinos Got Talent.

I used to watch the British X Factor online for some weird reason (probably came into my feed as I am not really a fan of talent shows for the music) back around 2015, and there is a Filipino all girl group called 4th Impact that you really should check out, they are four sisters with unbelievable harmonies. We used to watch telemundo and movies in Spanish because I was the only one among my siblings that learned to speak Spanish with a measure of fluency (sad considering we spent almost all holidays and vacations in Guanajuato with my grandparents but oh well)... So we had that too. But he passed in 2019 (no te olvidare, papi). But I also have 2 daughters with whom I share a love of music and the arts. Wonderful and a great father and daughter combination and reaction together. Now we no more about why and where Alexia gets her great personality and intelligence. Nick did a great job of setting this up and so heart warming to see you two react together. A couple of naturals. So much fun hope to see more from everybody in the family. Oh it’s so cool to see Lex’s dad! I’ve seen this video before, brilliant and bizarre at the same time. I used to watch the British X Factor online for some weird reason (probably came into my feed as I am not really a fan of talent shows for the music) back around 2015, and there is a Filipino all girl group called 4th Impact that you really should check out, they are four sisters with unbelievable harmonies. Check out their version of Adele’s “Hello” from the same WISH bus.

Oh. How touching you with your dad. My dad and I also shared a love of music. We used to watch telemundo and movies in Spanish because I was the only one among my siblings that learned to speak Spanish with a measure of fluency (sad considering we spent almost all holidays and vacations in Guanajuato with my grandparents but oh well)... So we had that too. But he passed in 2019 (no te olvidare, papi).
But I also have 2 daughters with whom I share a love of music and the arts.
Brought happy tears to my eyes watching you both enjoying the music together.

I think this is the first time I watch a video from you and I really appreciate your support to our Filipino local talent. Because these is the first time, I am not sure if you have already reacted to Morissette Amon, another great singer from the Philippines. She is monster when it comes to 'cover' but she also have songs that she wrote herself. Please check her cover of Never Enough, Secret Love Song and Rise Up. Her single 'Love You Still, sunset version. She is a close friend of Marcelito and she was even the bridesmaid to Marcelito's wedding. Another talent I would really appreciate if you will react to them is SB19.They are our PPOP Kings. Although they are called PPOP, they sing different genre's. They sing ballads and rnb as well. Hola e gracias y'all. Your father's reaction reminded me of a comedian in Boston who would sing Billy Idol's song "Eyes Without a Face" but sing it as "Wrong Voice for This Face". The singer here may also have had the wrong voice for that face...but it was so beautiful that we at MrWondrous hath decided to proffer a forgiveness unit.

Great first reaction with your dad. Marcelito performed this on America’s got talent, and got a great reaction. Other great artists in the Philippines include Katrina Velarde ( recommend her “I Surrender with Jessica Villarubin} , Morrisette has many great videos, Budakel, Sam Mangubat, Gigi De Lane (To the fire, Piano in the dark). So many great undiscovered artists there.

that performance was very common during early 80s till early 20s here in the Philippines.. we call that "Doble Kara" or Double Face, usually its a contest.. and each contestants have to sing a duet song by him/her self.. with all the costumes in half male and half female..
