I have mad respect for you showing your car like that! I no longer feel bad with how bad my car was with 3 kids and commuting 2hrs back and forth to school.
Don't ever feel ashamed for that. You have 3 kids and they're priority. Nobody would fault you for that. At least I wouldn't! Stay amazing and be blessed!
People get in my case all the time for my gross van, but I have five kids, and sometimes we’re practically living in it, getting them where they need to go all day. It’s just the time of life for a messy vehicle for me!
Can I just say that I love how real you are? I usually feel so down when I watch RUclips "cleaning" videos... Cuz everyone looking so perfect and their "dirty" houses are cleaner than mine have ever been. 😂
I have learned that those that clean that way in those videos have cleaning people go over and they just do those videos in between cleanings thats why their houses be looking so clean
@Super Genius I use the measuring cup that comes with the Oxi Clean. Just a little works great, I use the first measuring line near the bottom of the cup.
And he said “anything for you my dear” my heart literally MELTED! 😍I pray that God sends me a man like that. 🙏🏽He is so amazing 👏🏽 The gray carpet outside was so satisfying LOL
Also u can hold the sprayer down as u are passing to soak up water to help loosen the stains up lol works for me with the carpet cleaner . Hope that helps ! I always wanted one of these ! I just use a regular carpet cleaner with attachment .
As other people have said, you have to saturate the area to be cleaned. You can always suck up the extra. I also read/saw somewhere to use more cleaning product than recommended. You can always go back over it with clean water. This is how I get my couches, car, carpets, etc cleaned and looking great.
I think you might benefit from spin brush attachments for drills. It'll give you deeper agitation on those stains. I haven't bought them myself but I like the detail geek on RUclips and he shows every step of the way on car detailing. I've been meaning to get me a set. I hope this helps! Love your channel!!!!!
Happy Sunday, Jia! May I suggest, using baking soda, Dawn dishwashing liquid and peroxide mixed into a thick paste then applied to the car seat(s) and see if that works. I use this mixture on my vintage clothes and the stains instantly lift; completely eliminating the stains. Let the paste sit for about 30-45 minutes perhaps up to an hour then wipe with a damp cloth then go back over the stains with the Bissell or Hoover. Let me know how it works or I will just check it out in a video. Good luck, Sis!
for those deeper stains, you will probably have to go over them 10 or 15 times. spray and let sit for 5 minutes scrub. repeat over and over and over. you will bring up dirtier water each time.
Thanks for the video! I’ve always wondered how this would work on a car interior. I’m going to get one and try it out. I’ll post a video when I do. Thanks again.
A helpful tip - don't put any solution in your extractor. Just use hot water. Spray the solution on with a spray bottle for small jobs. A pressure sprayer (you know the kind used to apply weed killer that you pump up with the handle in the top) for larger jobs like carpeting. That way you get all the solution out of the fabric/carpet/whatever you're cleaning. You really have to press down hard on upholstery to get it extracted.
thank you for your demo!!! I am getting ready to buy this and needed to see how to put it together and use. Just a suggestion, if that stain on the ottoman is ink, like from a pen, you can use straight rubbing alcohol. it will NOT stain, it will almost disappear before your eyes . we used it to wash off ink stains from our hands while working in the icu, we used our hands if we didn t have paper, if we needed to jot down information, later we will use alcohol prep pads or just hand sanitizer that has alcohol in it to wash our hands with and get the ink stain out . i actually used it on my white shirt as well , I got pen markings in my shirt while taking notes at church. we were on the way out to eat, and my white shirt was allllll marked up! I poured straight alcohol onto my white shirt and it disappeared , i rubbed it lightly for what was left behind and it was very hot that day, so on our way to eat after church, my shirt was almost dry and white again by time we made it to the restaurant. I keep alcohol in spray bottles in the laundry room, bathroom and kitchen
I personally have the Bissell Spot Clean Professional and I really like it. I use more of a scrubbing motion then do sweeps over the spot to soak up the water. With darker, deeper stains you have to agitate the fabric and really work the water and solution in there.
You can dilute any upholstery cleaner in a regular spray bottle and spray directly on the fabric/carpet. Just use hot water in the machine. This way you can use whatever you want, and don't have to worry about voiding the warranty. Folex is a great stain remover, and if you have a power drill, get some drill brushes.
Try using a drill brush after soaking. there are soft and hard brushes that you put on a drill that scrub in a circular motion. they agitate carpet/fabric so you get a deep clean. then use your green machine to suck up the stains.
Great video Jia. I had The Green Machine when it first came out and my kids were younger. Our cars take a hit with kids don’t they?! Hope you all are doing well! God bless you!
Don’t use the solution in the bissel! Use an actual carpet cleaner to spray directly on the carpet/floor mats and get a scrubby brush to agitate the stains and then just use the bissel with hot water in it to extract the dirt and stains!
Just a heads up you can dye the cloth in the car. A good friend of mine her and her husband dye their living room carpet every few years. It comes out like brand new. It’s crazy how beautiful it looks afterwards.
My mom bought me the Bissel pet floor mop type of thing to clean floors and carpet when I purchase my house years ago. Really its saves me time and I used everyday. I get it with kids my kids are in the spectrum and I have to keep things very in order and clean to the T cause my oldest knows what missing so I have to be on my A game. Great video!.keep up the good work hubby and Jia. Team work!
It will actually pull out more stains if you press the water button while you are sulking it up after you spray it the first time. It reaches deeper when you do. Good luck!
For the carpet stains, I boil water in a hot water pot then pour a small amount over the stain. Then add vinegar to the stain, or Resolve. The boiling water always works the best. I enjoy all of your videos!!
@@greatauntlizbethg9137 I only pour a small amount of hot water on my carpet. Actually don't know which type they are. Have also done this on several friend's carpets as well. Never an issue. Also, for a couple of stains I did this for, anything would have been preferable to the stain. 😁
You should watch one of "The Detail Geek" videos and see how he cleans dirty & stained car seats, I think that the trick to help you remove dirt & stains is AGITATION.
I have been searching for one of these I can get!! Thank you for this video!! With so many on the market it was hard to pick, but Im going to try this one!!
Im thinking of getting this machine for my rug., thank you for showing us specially the car, it helped a bit. Those stains can come out if you get it detailed professionally..life with little ones will never be the same lol we’ll be cleaning for a while.
I LOVE my Bissell products! We also have the Little Green machine and we just recently purchased the Bissell Pet upright steam cleaner for the one room in our home (my office) that has carpeting. Another thing that the Bissell Little Green does an amazing job cleaning is microfiber furniture. For the past 14-15 years, we've always bought microfiber furniture because of how incredibly easy it is to clean and care for. We have multiple pets, so that is super important to us. We moved into a new home last year and decided to get a whole new microfiber living room set because I wanted the same set that we already had, just in a different color. We gifted our old set (it was only 5 years old) to my parents, but before we gave it to them, I took the Little Green machine to the sofa, love seat, and recliner and when I say they came out looking BRAND NEW, I literally mean they looked BRAND NEW! They could have easily been put on a show room floor in a furniture store and passed for new! There were a couple of little stains on the chaise part of the sofa, but they came COMPLETELY out with no problem at all! My parents seriously thought we had gone out and actually bough them a whole new living room set! They couldn't believe it was the same furniture that we had in the living room of our old house for the past 5 years! I will never be without my Bissell!
My old car carpet was the same color. It was beyond dirt. I used this machine & it made my car look brand new. It work best with a spin brush and drill. Wet the seats a little. I have a newer car now. This video is making me want to clean my car.
@Marriage & Motherhood this is a must have especially if you already own a garage utility vac. you not only have a way of pre-vacuuming the auto interior but also giving the seats and the carpet a thorough deep cleaning.
Hi there im a professional auto detailer i use the the power spot clean professional for the seats and carpet and it works well but when it comes to cleaning tough stains try using an all purpose cleaner like super clean dilute it with water and agitate the area with a brush then extract the water with your bisell Great video!!
I love mine! We had one growing up 15 years ago,we used it for pet stains and I bought one to clean up toddler messes! Totally worth the money for spot cleaning! I've used Tide and arm & Hammer with no issues 😀
I have 2 German Shepherds, live in a rural area so tons of dirt, oil and such and just use 6oz of hydrogen peroxide with 2oz of Dawn liquid soap, scrub brush and spray and my tan rugs after 3 years don't have stains
Yep but for all the moms out there TAKE A PICTURE of the car seat before you take off the covers and how everything hooks back up. It helps so much cuz you won’t remember how to put things back on looool
I use hydrogen peroxide on bad stains and it has removed a lot of them. I just found out you can wash floor mats in the washer and did that yesterday with good results. Much easier than the machine. I cleaned a beige microfiber with green machine and it came out great! Just read non retracting seatbelts can be fixed with a good cleaning and hoping green machine will work. Thanks for sharing your video.
My first time using this I used, hot water, borax and oxi clean and I was able to get really nasty and tough stains out. I recommend using that for anybody having trouble with tough stains, spray let sit like 3-5 mins and bissell it up
I love my little green machine. I use it on my microfiber couch-makes it looks brand-new. I never thought to use it on my car seats. I enjoyed this video. Thank you.
I put my cleaning solution in a spray bottle, clean water in the carpet cleaner.. Spray item to be cleaned, scrub with a soft brush. You have to keep spraying while sucking up stains. Water needs to get below stain to remove it, you did not use enough water and it only took off top layer.
As an ex-carpet cleaner... Nothing is better than pre-treating a dark carpet spot with spot remover, waiting a few minutes, ultra-hot soapy water, a kitchen rag, and serious elbow grease
I think you need to use much more liquid, so keep spraying more and extracting it repeatedly, also when i watch car detailers, they use a drill brush attachment to agitate the cleaning fluid before extracting it. Was fun to watch though :)
If you have a drill gun you can buy detachable brushes for the gun and it’s amazing it’s scrubs everything out really good and then you could go at it with the carpet cleaner
Hi, Jia! Love your vids... YOU ARE A RIOT! I think I say that each time I write but you really crack me up! In any event, I just watched a "Clean With Me" vlogger use WHIP-IT Multi-purpose Stain Remover Concentrate and it seemed to have worked well for her light-colored area rug!
For me personally, I feel like the machine doesn’t get wet enough. So I grab a spray bottle filled with equal parts of cleaners with water & saturate whatever I’m cleaning & then use the machine to vacuum the excessive cleaner. If I have deeper stains I use a separate brush to separate the stain from the fibers & ive found that really helps with stains!
@@evelynsanchez8515 if you have a bissell use a bissell cleaner. Whatever machine you have use their cleaner & they usually have a lot to fit whatever household you have 💕
Definitely pre soak, maybe scrub and go over stains. Also go really slowly. I have a vax wet and dry. Im pretty sure any machine carpet shampoo will work, but with vax u need another product to stop it foaming in the collection tank. I didnt see you us one, so vax is probably the wrong stuff for your machine.
Somehow listening to you feels like hanging out with a friend! Thanks for the tips. Have you or anyone have any thoughts on homemade spot remover, or cleaning liquid with the Little Green? Thanks!
I have both….the little green and the professional big green. I love how quick you can clean a mess with the little green. I find any excuse to use It 😂
52 years old… And I was the mean mommy who never allowed food in my car… Ever… Never… Never never never no water no food no snacks no nothing I was never driving where they would die LOL and as a grandmother of 3 the rule still holds
@@ein-rw7uy Your attitude is completely uncalled for. Having a water bottle or a travel mug with coffee is different than letting children eat and drink in your car.
Try extremely hot water and powdered tide. I made a paste to use on the hard stains and cleaned it again. I did go over it with plain hot water later on. Inside and in my van.
We purchased the Bissell SpotClean ProHeat Pet Portable cleaner. It is the step up from the green machine. We LOVE IT! Compared to the Green Machine mine keeps the water hot throughout the process which helps so much. My Husband watched me clean part of the couch and a cushion and couldn't stand it any longer. He cleaned the rest and can't wait to do the car. If he is impressed then you know it is a good product LOL! The little green machine does great but we realized that the hotter the water was the better it worked but over time the water cooled down and just wasn't working as well.
I plan on using a seperate brush to scrub my carpet and using my green machine more as just the steamer part of it. Just make sure to put hot water into the tank
As a former professional licensed carpet cleaner. I can tell you thise orange and red stains are the hardest to remove. Theres actually a while different process/service for removing red stains. So that machine did really well on that dorito stain.
I do have one of those.... The detail geek here on youtube uses one as well. You want to soak the area and then brush it to loosen the dirt. I use a bristol brush... Then go over with the sucker upper
Love the video! Thank you for reviewing the machine as-is, with the included detergent. I know there are other ways to add to the cleaning power, such as scrubbing with a brush prior to extracting, but this is a real review of the extractor itself. Much appreciated! Also, yeah, that's how it goes when you have kiddos - random stains, random trash, random toys sometimes! lol! Much love to you and your fam!
You need to flush it out while passing it on the ottoman. Spray it down, let it sit, then flush it out a couple passes, after that do not press the button anymore and just pass as many times as possible to suck up the remaining water. That machine is magic, I cleaned a hoarders house dining chairs with stains from 30+ years. Trust me it works
Stauffer Garage cleans with a brush on a drill for really bad stuff. Also, you can youtube search for lifting stains with stain remover, a stiff brush, warm water and microfiber towels and then do the Little Green again.
Have you seen all the "couch flippers" on RUclips? Alot of them use this machine and they put dish detergent, white vinegar aso in the machine. The account Furniture Flipping Teacher has one and she cleans alot of furniture with it. When there is a significant stain some of them first wet it with detergent and scrub a bit and then use the machine. I am a bit jealous coz I´ve been wanting something like the Little Green Machine a looong time, mostly for my car but other stuff to and I can´t get one in Sweden . There is a larger model from the same brand tho that one is expensive here....

This! My kids spilled RED SNOCONE in my car and it came out the first time!
Do you recommend any cleaner?
@@evelynsanchez8515 if you have a bissell use a bissell cleaner.
Whatever machine you have use their cleaner & they usually have a lot to fit whatever household you have 💕
U can also pre soak the fabric with what ever u want . I like awesome from dollar tree
That’s what I recommended 🙃
That's what I use.
Girl, I came in here just to say that! Good ‘ole Awesome from Dollar Tree has worked well for me in the house and car.
I’m thinking about getting one for my dirty ass car interior and watching this makes me so excited🤣
Somehow listening to you feels like hanging out with a friend! Thanks for the tips. Have you or anyone have any thoughts on homemade spot remover, or cleaning liquid with the Little Green? Thanks!
Totally awesome from the dollar store works fantastic on any stains
I have both….the little green and the professional big green. I love how quick you can clean a mess with the little green. I find any excuse to use It 😂
52 years old… And I was the mean mommy who never allowed food in my car… Ever… Never… Never never never no water no food no snacks no nothing I was never driving where they would die LOL and as a grandmother of 3 the rule still holds
so you never ever ever had a coffee or water or a snack in your car while driving. i am impressed. I'm sure you wouldnt be a hypocrite.
Refillable Travel mug kept at work and didn’t start drinking coffee till recently
Aren’t you a cup of sunshine
I like this
@@ein-rw7uy Your attitude is completely uncalled for.
Having a water bottle or a travel mug with coffee is different than letting children eat and drink in your car.
Seriously this makes the biggest difference
He said “anything for you my dear” 🥺💕
I just adore Charles. Whether sassy or sweet, he’s just charming.
@@khaoylel I love it when he’s sassy!!
I bought mine second hand could you tell. Me what the top. Button is for?
Try extremely hot water and powdered tide. I made a paste to use on the hard stains and cleaned it again. I did go over it with plain hot water later on. Inside and in my van.
Wow, you should try and share your video with the ASMR genre, you would do amazing with that voice slash cleaning combo, great video and good luck!!!
I think what you’re supposed to do is while you saturate it you’re supposed to scrub it at the same time then you go back and suck it up.
Can you use it as a regular vacume?
i love bissell carpet cleaners, loved this vid so satisfying !
I plan on using a seperate brush to scrub my carpet and using my green machine more as just the steamer part of it. Just make sure to put hot water into the tank
A little dawn dish soap in a spray bottle for stains works great. 💪
As a former professional licensed carpet cleaner. I can tell you thise orange and red stains are the hardest to remove. Theres actually a while different process/service for removing red stains. So that machine did really well on that dorito stain.
I love her energy.
Is this plug in only or it keeps charge so it can be portable?
I use folex carpet spot remover then scrub and then use the bissell so clean
Love your real life videos!
I love seeing new gadgets.
Is there a need to rinse the carpet?
