Back in the early 90's I got an ultralight spinning reel that had ceramic bearings, it's still working 30+ years later and feels smooth as ever. What's crazy is the reel came on a telescopic rod( a really good one by today's rod standards) for only 25$. I knew the modern reels felt different somehow. Looks like I will be hot rodding some zebco's so they feel like my favorite old rod. It even sounds the same. Great channel.

I will look for one. Do you want a modern 606 or an older one? Seems to me that the 606 is basically a larger version of the 404.

Great video. I just purchased a zebco 33 gold max from a fella . He said he was having issues with the anti reverse. I looked into it and the one way clutch had a couple pins missing. The part number is nr112-01. This item seems to be hard to find. Would anyone know where I can purchase one? I looked on Google and eBay but nothing.
