You can frame those 🍐 pear and 🍑 peach placemats because that is what i did, i had floral ones and horse placemats... just another option for using them...northeast coast usa
Love both of the books you found....today, so many people do not entertain as we did in the years past...I miss that!! It's one of the reasons I love your channel and how each of you sisters are carrying out the traditions of your parents...thank you for sharing all you do!!! Peace and Happy Fall❤😊
Thank you, Barb! My sisters and I all love the "old" ways. My parents gave us such a wonderful childhood and we all strive to carry on those traditions for our families!
Another fun and enjoyable video with lots of variety. Love the cabbage, I've not seen in my area of Georgia but will now be on the hunt. Thank you for inspiring us and sharing your love thrifting adventures. Happy Fall to you and the Sisters.
Thank you so much! I do love the ornamental cabbages. They like cool climate which may be why you don’t see them in your area? Happy fall to you as well! 🥰🍁
Yay, a bonus video! I love the bird tray and pumpkin vignette. It really looks classy! Yesterday, I learned how to make textile pumpkins at a local art studio. It was so fun!
Hi its great to see you. The cup, saucer, and plate is lovely. Some more lovely finds. Gorgeous pumpkins and how thoughtful to receive the candle sticks and stand from your sister. Thanks for sharing and beautiful colour of the mum you picked. Love as always and catch you next time xxxxx
Fun finds at the rummage sale, and what a lovely package of goodies from Paula! Love the pewter pieces and they’re so nicely styled in your home. I agree on the slender mirrored sconce - I couldn’t have left it behind either. Hope it finds the right spot, whether with you or someone else who’ll appreciate its classic style.
What great finds! I also love Pimpernel placemats - another use for them is a backdrop for display in your kitchen or on your sideboard. The Martha Stewart book looks like a keeper with all the photos, great for display and browsing. We have a Goodwill Bookstore nearby that is very clean and resembles a Barnes & Noble bookstore where I have purchased many books for display and gifts too. Thinking outside the box , such as setting the China dishes on brown and accenting heavily with gold, would look beautiful. Thanks for the bonus video!
Oh Mary Beth - I would love to have a goodwill that has a wonderful selection of books! Books are always something I look for! And I agree - the dishes on the brown would be so pretty with lots of gold accents!
Your urns need to be cleaned and painted. I have the exact urns, and every year, I refresh them with a coat of spray paint, and they look brand new! I too love the orange and deep burgundy mums. I remember when I was in high school and we had our Homecoming football game and dance. The girls wore suits with beautiful corsages made from the large football mums, as they were called. I have mot seen the large mums like the ones from the corsage since. Maybe they are just grown for florists.
Thanks for watching. The urns are part of a long list of things that need to be washed and painted around my house, and low in the list , maybe next year 🤣🤣. I have not seen the big mums at any nursery up here.
Hi Patty love love love the mirrored candle sconce. Very elegant. Hope you find a spot to use it in your home. Also love the Pimpernel placemats. I don't leave those behind either. Enjoy your finds!
Such lovely things! I’m also in search for a white table cloth for my formal dining table. You mentioned in one of your videos that you are a talented stain remover… please share some tips because white tablecloths do get stained when used and everything else I wear that’s white!😄
I have just discovered you and your sisters on RUclips! I’m catching up on your videos and just love them. I’m from Waterford, NY and we have always traveled throughout Vermont and the rest of New England since it’s so close. Manchester is less than an hour away!
What is the address of the place where you got your mums? I live in a little village in NY State just over the bridge from Alburg, Vt., so we are not far from Swanton. Also, there is a Habitat for Humanity store near the entrance to I-89. in Swanton, The road is just before the highway entrance, The address is 104 Robin Hood Rd.
Hi Cindy. I frequently go to the habitat store in Swanton. Wagner’s address is 382 county road in Swanton. They also have a FB page with hours, etc. let me know if you have any other suggestions in your neck of the woods. It’s so close to me. Thanks for watching! 🩷
St. Mary's Mission Center, 88 Oak St. Champlain is very nice and very reasonable. It is quite small in comparison to a lot of other thrift stores, But I have picked up some really nice things there. It is a hit & miss. Sometimes I find treasures, sometimes I don't. If you google it, you can find the times & days they are open. I know they are open on Tues. at 2:00 because that is when I usually go. If you mention my name, they will know me. I am a regular!
Another lovely video. Thank you. I love the blouse you wore in this video, over flattering. HUGS 🙏🇺🇸🐘🍁🐿
Awww thank you so much! 🩷

What a fun craft to learn. I love to craft - and textiles are such fun!
Watching from Toronto, Ontario and feel an affinity to Vermont (and MA) by way of ancestors. Love fall in our north.
There’s nothing quite like fall up North! 🍁🍁🍁
Thank you for sharing your finds and how you style them. Carol from Redding Ca.

I will do my best to find the perfect spot for that sconce - or gift it to someone with the perfect spot! :)
The brown tablecloth brings out the pink in the flowers. Very pretty with that cloth too. Nice for fall.
Thanks, Judith! I love brown and pink together!
Love the Martha Stewart book . How cool to have a song and decor that matches .
I love that idea! Martha is always so clever!

You could put a pillar candle and hurricane glass on that plate and use your cup and saucer for tea. So many uses!
I agree!! Lots of uses including what you suggested!!
Gosh you have much nicer finds that I find here.
It is definitely hit or miss for me. Some days I come up empty handed! 😊
💚your beautiful new dishes on the green tablecloth.
Thank you! 🤗
