Charming and reminiscent of my childhood home too. Thank you so much for taking us along with you, especially to see the Christmas decorations added in 🎄
This looks just like my grandma's house in Chanute, Kansas when my grandpa was an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. It had all the dark wide casework around the doors and windows and the white lacy curtains.💖
I teared up watching as I grew up in that era and it was so familiar! Just like home.

The house is very charming. So many of the furnishings look familiar to me from my childhood. Of course, they were old even then, LOL.
I am more into the flame style of the 40’s as seen in movies. Now that is my sense of style and beauty.
Absolutely beautiful! Looks more like a house built in the 1920s-30s..I'll bet it's older than you have it labeled as..❤
What a beautiful home. Love the dark stain woodwork and hard wood floors.
Beautiful home. Would have loved to see the Christmas trees lit up. 🎄
I'm glad to see the home has good stords. Preserving the past for the future. Very important. Thank you for sharing...

Thanks for sharing. ❤
I was born in a house like this.
I absolutely love your home!!!😊😊😊😊
Unfortunately, it is not my personal home, but a preserved home that is open in my hometown.
Very sweet.
Thanks!
Is this a Sears Kit Home?
Camera is moving too fast. Could not get a sense of the rooms at all. I would love to have seen more than a glimpse of that beautiful kitchen
Is this museum ? I thought it was your house at first .
@@tonirad9577 It is a property owned and maintained by the city.
@@mylittlecottage5420So this is open to visitors? I only live 30 minutes from Collinsville.
We'll excuse the artificial Christmas trees😂
Enjoyed, but wish a little slower.
