You found some great items! I recently thrifted a 100% cashmere tartan plaid scarf made in Scotland for $6. I was so excited so can imagine how you felt getting that beautiful cardigan!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. The thrift haul was amazing. Your wool cardigan was beautiful. Im allergic to wool so I have to pass on coats or sweaters made from it.
I remember when Kathleen (I believe) introduced us to the Chandler 4-Corner pillows. They are charming and they make me smile. Your theme of ribbons/bows blends perfectly with your decor complimenting all your pieces. The Christmas china is absolutely beautiful and the cardinal is a gentle reminder of our loved ones♥ That gorgeous Irish sweater - it was patiently waiting for YOU!☘☘ Yes, the recipe cards from our loved ones is priceless with their handwriting and even the stains from their time in the kitchen. Thank you for the surprise video.
I thrifted an Irish sweater years ago too….great finds for us!!! The only problem wi5h the four corners pillows is they are always so hard and everyone grabs them and removes them to the floor….pretty but not comfy!
Enjoyed your holiday haul and treating your wooden items. I noted on Kathleen’s latest video that I also had found a Chandler 4 Corners skier hooked pillow at a local thrift store recently and, like your lovely Irish knit sweater, I went back a few days later to get it, knowing I should have bought it when I first saw it (and was glad I did!). I also appreciated your Lenox holiday China, but also noted one of my favorite Meakin Fair Winds brown transferware dinner plates with the sailing ship, The Friendship of Salem, for autumn and Thanksgiving. We all have great taste in decor and dishware! Thank you for sharing and belated Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much! I am so glad the pillow was there when you went back! Yes indeed - you did spot some Meakin Fairwinds china! I love brown transferware!
Hi its good to see you. I must admit I have never oiled my wood kitchen tools. I will try and find the oil. Great pillows , love the colours. I have never used napkin rings as I always use paper napkins. Thanks for sharing your Christmas China. See you soon xxx
Good Morning Andrea! I was so happy to find the pillows! I only really use napkin rings for more fancy dinners. Paper napkins are a staple of our everyday life! :)
Hi friends - I hope you enjoy today's bonus video! xoxo
I agree about handwritten recipe cards! I treasure one's in my grandmother and mother's penmanship. Anything handwritten warms my heart.
