Hi Miss P! What a pretty blue tag. I love the technique of using the stencil like a stamp. Several years back I learned a similar technique from watching Abs of Aall&Create and it’s one of my all time favorite uses of my stencils. You ink up the stencil with a water based ink pad like a distress or distress oxide and then give it a few light spritzs of water and then do like you did using it like a stamp. I love the effect because it leaves such a beautiful uneven result. I’m glad I saw how you used a spray for a similar technique and I will definitely be trying it too. I always learn wonderful techniques from watching you create. When you mentioned your blue embossing glaze didn’t come out shiny I think I know why. At least for me I have trouble when I use the glazes because unlike regular embossing powders if you heat it too long it goes dull. I tend to want to keep heating it like my regular other embossing powders and the glazes just work a bit differently. They are a lovely product though and your tag looks amazing!
