OK you guys may not believe this but the quoteyou say at the end of the video “Do not try this at home. We are trained amateurs. Masters in the Art of shenanigans.” Has been stuck in my head for almost 4 years now. It took me forever to find this video again and I’m glad I did.
Your work area makes me want to scream, but I love your drive and attitude. Prototypes and proof of concept things are never perfect. A very nice film. Entertaining throughout. Two thumbs up, way up!
I don't care for the product but I love how ya'll have the idea and I especially love how you made something. Truly special in this day and age. KEEP MAKING STUFF, you'll be glad later. I can't say it loud enough, SO GREAT that you are making things!! So many people only know how to clickety click on their phones all day.
This Production actually has some Cool Charm to it. I hit SUBSCRIBE within minutes of WATCHING it. If the right person Sees this Show, Both for the On-Screen and Off-Screen Talent, I really think this kind of SHOW could take off and Become real popular. I haven't looked to see if you have anymore Episodes like this one, But if there is, I'm a Hooked Fan & Will Watch them All. GOOD LUCK WITH THE SHOW, I Hope to see More.
Bummer. Watched till the end hoping it would work. I'm glad you're out building stuff instead on your phone watching other people build stuff like me lol
I don't care if it's a failed project! These guys could be fucked up on heroin or some other insane 💉 drug driving their parents to the grave, robbing and stealing but no they're being innovative and creative and having fun with their youth! Great job guys!!
Rode my mini bike the ither day with baggy sweatpants and got my leg caugt in the chain and sprocket and tore up my thigh. Not fun. Whiskey throttled during a sketchy part of the trail. Ok so to set the scene you just came down a hill all gravel and a mix of dry and wet leaves right after a sharp turn and then in between a tree and a tree stump you have to go over a skinny ramp which has a tree behind it. You have to turn while hitting the jump so you dont go into the tree. I hit a root after sliding on the gravel and whiskey throttled at the same time. My friend broke a ball joint on his quad trying to make that tight turn mid air so as soon as he hit the ground it just snapped right off lol.
Haha did anyone else noticed the gurl with the Big Booty when he slows it down & rewind's it at 7:24 haha like Daaazzaammnnn.. in Dollar Bill's voice from player's club lol 😎🤘💯
Great production! You guys have talent. I can tell you that you guys will have success in life. Good to see kids building stuff instead of wasting away with devices
Cool video of some guys getting shit done. Reminds me of my type of projects when I was a few years younger. Keep up the good work. -Evan from WA, State
In the attachment to the wood, maybe you would like to add some rubber rings, so they absorb the vibrations and avoid the cracking wood dude...great job, and thanks for sharing.
built it around a seat and handle bars, like a kitchen chair with bicycle handle bars. the clutch of the chainsaw could be shoved directly into a bicycles front tire.
it's great to see some young ones doing something constructive instead of having their heads down in a phone or ipad! takes me back to when I was a young one. don't lose that creative spark guys. garages are for guys... i Pads are for punks.
QUICK THOUGHT: The real culprit here is RUclips spamming the video to every homepage. I don't think these boys anticipated for over 7 million people to watch... Give them a break, to many keyboard warriors come in to vids with top of the line expectations and think every video should be planned to a tee when in reality nothings perfect and some videos are just thrown together quick with fun clips for the people involved to look back on... I'd like to believe they would have made this way better had they known an audience of this size would be watching. RANT OVER.
Here is what you need to do to make it work. You will need to do a secondary reduction gear so that it has enough torque and doesnt stall. It may be quieter safer and easier to use a belt instead of a chain and use a pulley tensioner like the ones used on the serpentine belt of a car so that you don't have issues with the belt falling off, especially at higher RPMS.
The engine needs to be mounted to the same steel chassis as the sprocket. It seems like a small detail but any bit off axis or weird movement the chain will come off.
do they even make the sawzall brand anymore? like 20 yrs ago! be careful with the harbor freigt stuff, consider yourself warned. They dont make expensive tools for the money and no other reason - its not like buying fashion
Great job you guys were doing something thinking and learning and having a great time doing it reminds me of my friends and I when we or teenagers awesome video
I did that with my dad for an offroad scooter and found out that chainsaw and strimmer motors where gutless. Then I did an engine swap to a two stroke 50cc pocket rocket engine. It fucking worked!
Bro this is awesome. Just two dudes, crafting sick stuff out of junk.

4:16 grinding away right next to a gas can.
You guys have come so far from my day of nailing roller skates to a 2X4.
The intro music made it sound like I was loosing connection 😂
Damn good video. Nice rear end on that thing at the bicycle shop too! Treat her like u almost did that sprocket 😂😂

"How to work in a messy work space"
Step 1: fill your work space full of clutter and junk
Step 2: conduct your work outside in the rain.
Sideways moisture.

You got me with the casey vlogs song at first! Nice work!!
You did a great job. Just finish it. Don't give up in the middle of a project. Nice to see young men build things. That's what made this country.
Kinda wish they would have said "We are professionally trained idiots" XD
good vid by the way
Only one minute in and shout out to Tony the editor. Great stuff bud. And great vid all round.
looked like ur sprocket ratio was setup for about 90mph; ambitious!

This just popped up in my recommendations bro. Hell yeah.
Glad you are out experimenting. This will only help to improve your fabrication skills.
Bummer. Watched till the end hoping it would work. I'm glad you're out building stuff instead on your phone watching other people build stuff like me lol

This is actually a genius design good job kid
Dad comes home from work and kicks his ass for ruining his chainsaw
Billy Eastes
We can only hope. This dude does need a ass kicking
I’d rather my kids out doing stuff like this and thinking with their mind then sitting in the room playing video games or watching tv.
😅😅😅😅
Lil sister comes home and kicks his ass for her bike
would you as a father do that
Just for letting all is viewers down, I hope you never cese to fail with anything you build so you know how we feel. Every. Day.
That unprotected sprocket worries me. I have heard some horror stories
Skill Builder care to explain what that is?
@@zach5994 damn kinda like a chainsaw 😂

Awesome. You could easily adapt it to bike, scooter, or kart, or even a sled. I see some snow! Or maybe push a wheelbarrow with it. Creative.
I really enjoyed the Sam Rami-type of editing and cuts. A very nicely produced video.
This is very creative! I think I like this channel already
With that gearing---Top speed about 80 mph.

Why everybody hating it was a great idea and a fun video
Yes, I built one of these when I was a kid, and yes, it worked just about as well.
You'll be glad to know that we laid it to rest, and created a new thing... that works.
That's cool.
Круто, ты молодец если своего добился.

Always the same with these builds I have done loads with lawn mower and chainsaw motors and the chains are always the problem
What if you mount the motor to the truck instead of the board
Looking to Make a little (gt snowracer based) snowmobile. I know it's another world when it cones to tracks but any advice on chain issues?
I love the sparks flying at the gas can!
maybe you should film the guy cleaning the spark plug.
or adjusting/replacing the re-coil spring
No, the guy cleaning him up off the pavement.
Patrick Wagz 8э
no the emergency tech who asks why he used no eye protection
No film them getting shot by an angry commenter who got robbed of 12 minutes time
It's cool to see teenagers doing stuff other than sitting around playing video games or doing drugs
I want to hug the cat
lol yeah, she's pretty fluffy
Love the Blackhawks banner 👌🏻

Sounds like an old Echo should. :)
I can't believe some biz was actually selling that. That is not safe for a lil girl. Lol
Really dude?

"It was almost really cool" way to follow through guys xD
Great job you guys were doing something thinking and learning and having a great time doing it reminds me of my friends and I when we or teenagers awesome video
That's the shit, brother! Do like I do, draw it out first. Then, build it! Killer video man!
Dude that music is nerve wracking !
send it to Braille! You build it we skate it
I did that with my dad for an offroad scooter and found out that chainsaw and strimmer motors where gutless. Then I did an engine swap to a two stroke 50cc pocket rocket engine. It fucking worked!
Cool idea I love shit made out of chain saws
A chain tensioner that that thing was done. Turning a handbrake into a throttle, and it would be perfect.
Nice build. The engine is normally mounted to a plate and the plate moves or slides for chain adjustment ...juss sayin'.
who would have thought a chainsaw spur doesn't have the same pitch as a bicycle sprocket?
great production value. but i zoned out at the end....howd it turn out???
Those Old Echos are Keepers. Rebuild it if you have someday.
