Tbh I thought I would drop this game bc of the turn based battles but WOW it’s actually quite fun and pretty quick compared to other turn based games that I have played! I can definitely see myself playing this long time
I never play turn based game before but i also thought i will drop the game, but after few battles, i kinda find it fun to play lmao, bc it’s quite fast i guess. And the guide also kinda easy to follow
Same. I think i might drop it after a few hours but been playing it nonstop. I like the details of the character expression and how they cut the voice line to match the scene in 2x speed i mean they still talk 2time faster but it doesn't sounds weird this is the problem why I don't like turn base but I don't find it on star rail. Well not all of em tho like himeko voiceline i wish they would fix it.
Literally the lack of a jump button is the reason I gave up on the game at first (giving it a second go now). It’s just so weird? I also hate turn based co any but tbh I’m enjoying the game so far.
THE JUMPING THING!!! SAME I KEPT SPAMMING SPACEBAR TO MAKE THE MC JUMP BUT ALAS...also the sped up ramble for speed is so great omg, and all the gacha game references lol. Super informative, hilarious, and relatable video, and I cannot wait for future build videos. Also hope you get Seele soon! 🙏🏻
really like the system in star rail. new to the game but not the genre and its really satisfying when you are technically underleveled for a tough mob fight and still win. i just recently beat that lvl 16 mob in the starship with only like lvl 8-9 characters. you having no items mid fight makes you really think about your comp and your over all strategy going into a fight. ultimates are frequently obtained (which i like because of the visuals) and not overpowered. i just reached where i got gassed by sampo and im honestly having more fun that i thought with a gacha game.
covered all the basics and questions I had last night, but I was to anxious to play bc I had not watched anything about how things work. Ty so much for the Guide and I look forward to more videos xD
if you ask me, i would say that qingque is actually extremely good about teaching players skill point management, since if you wanna do any damage to speak of with her, you need to watch your skill points
I think the hardest part for me is gonna be figuring out who to invest in for early game, having a ton of fun with the game so far though! I got to participate in the first CBT and it feels so good for Star Rail to finally be out and playable now that it feels a little unreal lol
Managed to make it to the penacony memory zone meme before I had to seriously think about building my characters in order to continue the story... but now im ready to grind
Do we actually need a well built team to move into the game? I just started and I got beaten up badly in world 3 ....I'm tb 26 and is building 1 team is enough?
I started the game like 8 months ago but then I deleted it because genshin was more fun and I needed space. I cane back three days ago and did a 10 pull and got robin. I played again and honestly started having some fun for the first time since natlan released. I want to get into the game seriously so here's to hoping I can understand this.
I really love those fgo references. That brings me memories when that game was fun and new to me. And even now, after sending almost 2 years on genshin and playing Star Rail, I feel kinda I'm playing fgo again from a day one. Sadly, fgo sucks rn.. Day one FGO NA player btw
"if you're adhd like me you're gonna have to find a new button to press" i feel very called out- i've been spamming space and keep getting sad when i can't jump-
Ngl im not really into a turn base genre. But been playing it since the server open and it's almost 4AM now 💀 . I like the environment. the details of the character like seriously their expression are way better then Genshin despite coming from the same company.. still too early to rate the story tho for now is neutral for me. And i like the details when you chose 2x speed your character and their voiceline is not just become 2x faster but it cut out to match the scene well not all of them like himeko ... for combat well i have said that im not into it but im pretty much enjoying it so far the mechanic is easy to understand. The game has almost all the similarity to Genshin so is pretty easy to know what you are doing.
I wasn't gonna try this but when you think about it some of our favourite games are turn based....POKEMON for example lol. So definitely gonna try it out
3min into the video i realised this game is not for me (ABSOLUTELY NOT)...the combat would drive me nuts (AND NO JUMP ?? LIKE SERIOUSLY ??) anyways...thank u for you honest and very clear explanation.. really appreciate it
It's almost as if Hoyoverse re-introducing CD player and the community is in shock lol. Turn-based RPG isn't new, but I guess it's pretty "new" to the new generation kids grown up playing GTA and soul-like games almost exclusively.
The only turn based stuff I’ve ever played was Pokémon when I was really little lol. I really hate it but tbh after giving HSR a second go, it’s not so bad.
This game is so fun to play as a veteran gacha player. Honkai star rail's way of doing things are so much better then other games such as mla or afk arena
I don't know what to do with 2 copies of Serval and an Asta? Are they good? There is no guide on how to build them? I guess currently not available since this game is so fresh from oven 😂

Can I ask? Where do you obtain Self-Modeling Resin and is it f2p friendly?

Reminds me of Persona
@@Kiraashi same, i've also just never liked turn based games so I wasn't expecting myself to actually enjoy the game so much
2x speed makes it look better

Honestly I hated that there wasn’t a jump button….but…you get infinite stamina 👍
Already better than genshin
@@Ben-v6z3s infinite stamina wut?????

3:59 the humor is literally on point
This was really really informative. In an engaging and not boring way. Thanks a lot bro.
9:59 the traumaaa. on a serious note, love the video. give mr editor a raise.
When I went from Genshin to Honkai I was so sad I no longer have Braxophone guides, now that I'm playing HSR we've come full circle!
Love the editing. It's really engaging. Great video!

lucky for me since hitting things with a baseball bat scratches that itch
The jumping gets to me I just wanna jump over some rails like mondstat 😢
Brilliant video. I've been on the fence about playing this and this has really helped me make my mind up
Only if i was this invested in my studies 🥴
I feel your pain bro same problem

As a guy who had gotten ALOT of def/hp main, max roll double crits, 4 line start, i see that as an absolute win
The quality of this video is amazing xDD I love all the jokes about other games xD

Thanks for the team comps! 10:02
never did I ever expect to hear the ring fit adventure ost in a video on RUclips and yet here we are…
5:55 suprisingly easy to follow
