There are this group of girls here in my country who debuted in 2002 with 5 members, two years after one member left and the others went on for another two years before they split up. The 4 members who continued for the remaining years met in 2012 but the fifth member did not. So as a fan, I thought I would never see the five together again. But last year, which marked her 15th birthday, they were negotiating to come together all five, and I thought "no way, she will not say yes," but she did. This month they released a new song and are on tour. But i saw fans saying that specifically Changmin would not want that
I once wished for it badly The successful "on-the -same-stage" experience of H.O.T. could just mean a fulfillment for those who longed the "reunion" for 17 years, like PD NIM said the rest is left for them to decide: whether to work as a group again, to let it be, or to occasionally give fans some return albums/shows. Huge respect to GEN1 idols. Yet it can hardly be applied to TVXQ.
The 1st gen have proven that you can never say never. I honestly never thought I'd see all 5 H.O.T members together again as they were all so scattered for so long and the guys all gave non-committal responses every time the idea of a reunion was brought up. When I first watched the HOTSechgodRG guys' show I felt sad for them because they often talked about missing the camaraderie and group dynamic. Now all of them have finally reunited with their groups :D

So wonderful, I cried too man. They were my role models as a kid growing up and being one of the only Non-Korean fans in NY. I use to get picked on for being Black and liking Korean music and I'll always defend H.O.T and no matter what they said I stayed a loyal fan. Thanks for giving me a wonderful childhood. Just my opinion, but Kangta made this possible. I haven't a clue what they are saying, but I have heard Kangta referenced by so many 2nd generation idol groups that I think he is still very relevant in the entertainment industry. He didn't do it alone of course, but I think he was the force behind this. The wind beneath IC's and H.O.T.'s wings. Respect.

Ah, I will have to look for more about them. Not familiar with Heejun at all. I know Tony lives with Jaeduk of Sechskies which is kinda amazing since H.O.T. and Sechskies were rivals back in the day. I saw Hee Jun on an episode of RM a few years ago but I didn't know who he was at all. Thanks for the info.
