Myself, I don't go in for store-bought camos at all. I'll put up Permacams from whatever camos I like and can collect enough of. As ingame problems go, this matter is a total non-starter for me. As always, opinions will vary. I'd far prefer if Wargaming put up ways to scrap or cash-in Permacams that already exist - either the ones I made myself and no longer use, or the "novelty" camos acquired via box draws. Frankly, a lot of the latter are just ugly as #### to me, and I wouldn't use them if a gun was pointed at my head.
This 100% its the main reason why i dont run any camo on my ships. Dont wanna waste my paint but holding out hope that WG will release the historical camos one day 😂😭
Funny thing is, the US navy did a bunch of experimenting with camouflage on warships during WWII and found the grey or grey/blue stock paint job on most ships in the game worked the best and I think most other nations were heading in that direction too. If you look at most navy ships towards the end of the war they were the standard grey. Then again, World of Warships Legends has as much in common with actual naval warfare as Super Mario Brothers does plumbing.
There are a few of those camos around, like the Benson for example that will cost you 75 paint to unlock and there are a few more you can get, not sure which ships though .... Benson for sure as im looking at it right now. There should be more available though then there are now. O, Fletcher also has one and there are more
@@DaFreshPotato Its definitely to expensive ... Like most things in wows legends. How much is it total ... like 700 paint to max one camo? ... I have pretty much all tier 5 and up equiped with max camo and i dont even want to know how much camo i used for them

You have to melt paint to obtain the historic early access ships camo. That's all they'll give you.

Yes, they are a few that allows you to convert paint into permanent camo, I wish all of them were like this; Free.
