We loved our time in Lightning Ridge. So many things to do. We'd definitely go back. Did the same things you did...the car door tours as well! The Pub in the Scrub was packed when we went there. My darling husband bought me a black opal as well.
The pub in the scrub tour is actually at a place called Grawin but yes well worth the trip and another must see In Lightning Ridge is the Chamber of the Black Hand absolutely unbelievable. All in all though a good video
We loved Lightning Ridge, spent 4 days there back in March 2022. There is so much to do there and the Car door tours were fun. Weren;t the bore baths hot hot hot lol. We never made it to the Green or Orange door tours - an excuse to go back.
That’s awesome thanks for watching and for the Sub. We loved Lighting Ridge it was so different to what we expected Have just returned the Sub 😉 Cheers Paul and Wenda

Hi - like your vid’s - informative and relaxed. What type of sunglass frames are you wearing Paul? Looking for something similar. Thks cheers
Thanks Jack I got them from a place called Two Faces in Seddon Vic, that are Prodesign, Denmark. Very comfortable. Mine are prescription
Cheers Paul
@@beyondthegreyoz Thks Paul - I’ll check them out!
Hi Paul - what model Prodesign are your sunnies pls.
Unfortunately the model number is faded but I can just make out 862 at the start. I bought them just over 2 years ago
The area is a bit like Coober Pedy.
Yes we thought that too. But also very different
We cant wait to get to Coober Pedy, have heard alot about the area
@@onlyleavingfootprints yes definitely worth a visit. A lot more underground stuff like houses, churches and a restaurant
Not all what it’s cracked up to be.
@@jeaniepecats419 guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea 😉
It’s a dump
