Dude the first 4 minutes is common sense and then you get to the desoldering stage and you skip it??? When I first started working on amps that was my first obstacle,I'm sure others struggle with it also. Meguiars Convertible Top Cleaner does a killer job on Tolex, esp. on old beer bottle stains and such, and really gets into the grooves.
