Great video, as always. many thanks.
Thanks for your great videos! A question: Which metal axles do you use and where can I buy it? Best regards David
a tip for painting yellow is to prime in pink underneath! works fantastically.
Your rail gondola contents is called 'pan scourer' in english. But found in the same place in the supermarket.
OMG I think you just convinced me to spend 4450 haha
Hallo mal wieder ein Super Video.. Kurze Frage woher kommt die Anycubic Air Heat & Pure?
I am the first😃
Yess! :)
_"And an AI chip."_ Nothing but marketing lingo... No AI needed in a 3d printer. And cloud? Can I use a private cloud? Or do I have to use anycubic's cloud? I don't like having to use a manufacturer's cloud solution. Just like I don't like or, better, hate facebook. Or dropbox. Or onedrive. If something is free, *I* am the product. Nice video, BTW!
This channel is for hobby and fun. Please put your sourpuss attitude somewhere else! Nobody tells you to buy the products that are reviewed here!
This! The Anycubic cloud is such a horrible piece of software and they always try to use current marketing buzzwords to sell their stuff... Personally have had both Anycubic and Elegoo machine and while they (Elegoo) aren't saints either, at least they haven't stooped as low as Anycubic yet!
Ai would be useful in preventing print failure or detecting it and saving resin and time when it does, but this isn't a AI chip, it's a intelligent torque sensing software.
We really need a 3D printer. The amount of money you can save surely pays for the printer after a short time.
Took 42minutes to print a fleet of T scale locos n wagons, told me that was $0.44 of resin. Mono 2 so lower resolution. 3D printing means any scale anytime. Thingiverse is great. Learning FreeCAD to DIY.
Hi . Your detailed method is always good to follow! Thank you. Have a question re the comment of 'mixing the ABS resins". Is this how you purchased it or how else is it done, like what ratio and mixing method? I have a N Scale layout and wouls like to ensure that the signals I am about to make, last :). Appreciated and keep doing the great work! (Just had a closer look at the transcript 70 - 30 mix :), So just mix equal liqued volumes measured or weight volume in the vat or in bottle for later ?. Thank you for your patience :)
Martin! So good to hear from you. This was an excellent video. I did receive notification re. the new Resin printer from Anycubic and was wondering how well it worked. Looks like Anycubic has a new winner and has raised the 3D printing bar again. Thanks for sharing....inspiring as usual!
Thank you for another great tutorial. But i have a tip to use the supports again. Wash and cure the supports and paint theme in a rusty brown colour. Looks great in a scrapyard or as a cargo
Ja jag säger då det. Dessa gula färger som inte täcker. Ibland får man lägga så tjockt för att få fin gul nyans att detaljer drunknar i färgen.
I dont own a railroad, but i really enjoy these video's 😀👍
Everything you make looks absolutely incredible. Great ideas coupled with an excellent eye for realistic weathering really sells the authentic look. I love watching these DIY projects of yours even if I don’t have a layout of my own. Do you ever display your layout publicly?
Thank you! I’m so glad you like the stuff I make. I have sometimes guests visiting my layout, but donnot have the option to show it for the public. Best regards / Martin
Fantastic video. Such a cost saving and that printer is incredible. I’m still holding off getting started as I want to get my 5 year old son involved and I’m still a bit concerned by resin printing in terms of impact on health and the environment. FDM printers are still just too coarse for working in HO/OO gauge and we’re actually thinking of going TT as we’re limited on space. Still, watching your videos gives us both plenty of inspiration for when we get started! Keep it up!
The eco and water based resins are less smelly. I am using the Tough resin and the smell is not too bad but it is in the garage. Some say the carbon filters are great. My first model train print was a fleet of T scale bodies, 42min.
Hello, i like to buy a 3D printer?? But wich one a Resin or a PLA. Can you print the same things with a PLA printer??
Hi! No, PLA will not be any good for a H0-scale model railroad. It needs to be resin
Super detailing is... GWR on the axel box's of HOe/009 narrow gauge slate wagons and railway lanterns in OO smaller than a match head, yet are hollow to take an LED. Keep going you will get there.....
Another great video! Thanks Martin and happy new years!
Very nice tutorial!
I am currently in the process of building a layout based on your "Martinstown" together with my nine year old grandson. I think we will use this on our Forrester company in our layout! But that will take a while, only just finished the table for the layout😅
Has anyone printed the files with the Anycubic High Speed Resin? Have some problems to get all parts out of the file. Maybe someone has an idea for good printing values for it - hopefully :)
It looks awesome Martin. But I do miss the markings on the cars. Like if they belong to the DB or SJ. Is it possible to buy them? Or better, print your own?
aren't you a happy guy !
Really wonderfull example you provide us with again. Thank you!!
To paint yellow, I use Mr Color white primer with a dash of yellow in the primer. Great base to paint off of.
Hello
Great video, as usual.
Where can I buy the springs for the wagon coupling kinematics?
thank you
Greetings from Mdrid, Spain
Hi! Easiest way is to wind the springs using music wire. ruclips.net/video/K67GNM5AZvk/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Thank you, I will buy it and follow the instructions in the video
Hello
Could you tell me which two types of resin Anycubic uses for the mixture, I would be very grateful.
Best regards from Madrid, Spain
Amazing video, excellent explanation on how to 3D print railroad modelling. I am definitely planhing to buy a 3D resin printer after seeing this. Keep up the good work sir! Greetings from the Netherlands
Hello, Martin, to get a shiny yellow painting, you need to use WHITE primer
Another step in resin printing, especially the internal heater. Wonderful! AI chip? What does it do actually. I will have to add though that we would never want a dependency on a cloud and even Wifi though but I do read in the specs via the link that a USB Type-A port is provided as well. A bit vague all that to be fair but the price certainly is a good one. We are still in the process of thinking about 3D printing (resin) but we also have a shop nearby who can do it at very fair prices as well. It doesn't only save costs but you can also have stuff which main model manufacturers do not supply and at fantastic detail. We are wondering if manufacturers should be worried about the pace of progress of 3D printing actually.
The biggest hindrances on 3d printing with resin now is the time and money it takes to process the prints, the supplies and equipment needed to do the process efficiently can easily outweigh the cost of this printer, so if you have the time and patience to clean up messes and trouble shoot it might be worth it in the long run.
Another great video... Any plan to do TT:120 scale items for the 3d printing?
You can scale in the slicer software. ie OO to TT is 63%.
Mark just letting you know that my Mom passed away today 😢😢
Great job on the loader, I was at a machine shop one day and grabbed a bag of steel and brass shavings to have, now I have to make this after seeing this video.
Have you bought the 3D Printer yourself or was it a promotion from the company? Great work and funny that its so cheap to just print the models instead of buying them in the shops. I might buy one too
do you like the channel Everard Junction? his scrap yard is fantastic.
More than anything, the tips about detailing help me the most.
If you want better coverage with colours like yellow, paint the surface with white first. It saves having to do multiple coats of yellow.
Very nice 👍🏻
Hei Martin i love your videos, i follow you and respect you alot. But i have to say that the printed wagons and escavator needs some decals. I hope you well make a video regardin decals. ALL THE BEST!
Buenos dias, desde Los Alcazares MURCIA, ESPAÑA, bonito trabajo, un saludo y Feliz Año 2024.
Hello Mark it’s Bob Cooney it’s been a long time. I’ve had 3 heart attacks and 3 strokes but I’m still here. I love your channel more than anything else.
I’m sorry to hear you have been through such terrible time, but very happy to hear from you again! Your positive feedback is very much appriciated! I’m so glad that my videos brings you some joy. I’m currently in Tasmania a month helping a eldern man with severe spinal condition to forefill his ”bucket list dream” building a HUUUGE H0-scale Model Railroad in 1960s style. Life is great! Take care Bob!
@@marklinofsweden Good to hear from you and have a great week
great video again. but damn i need stuff like this for n scale :)
Very nice. Have you ever used nuln oil from citadel paints. That and agrax earthshade make weathering much easier
Great, insightful, informative video✌️👍😊💜
Great Video. Another reason to get a resin printer. One day, when I get rich and find a good room. Superb work. 🎉
Regarding yellow paint, i was told many years ago by a sign writer and railway modeller that if you use a red undercoat the yellow will be a lot brighter. A white undercoat works ok, but the red is better.
Marklin it is best if you use a white primer before trying to paint in yellow. I have been using a water based resin in my anycubic photon S printer which avoids the need for alcohol have you tried this
Great scrap parts would be fittings for lighters and jo. :)
Thank you. Very helpful video.
You have forgotten the price of the printer, downloads, materials and paint ... ten gondolas at $25.00 is not going to pay for a $650 to $1,600.00 printer. I don't need that much stuff on my small 10' X 10' layout.
If you wait 2 years or buy a older model you can easily get it at half the price with nearly the same quality. The downloads, resin, and paint all would cost around $50 but about less than a doller to produce a single cart
in ireland we call the pot scrubbers
Wonderful work Martin!
Another brilliant video
fantastic work cheers
Those things you download for printning, does they come in different size, im running spur1 wich is 1:32
Some do, but the slicer software can scale too.
May I ask, what wash and cure equipment you are using? Dying to get into 3D resin printing but know nothing about it 😢
Anycubic sells wash and cure stations made for their printers volume. RUclips is a good place too look up 3d printing for bigginers
It's not a tutorial, it's advertising
It's informational for people not familiar with the capabilities and processes with these devices. Some of us are just beginning our journey.
😂, clown!
Hobbies are not free, some ads are expected 👍🏻
