I've been using a free scanner a company has sent me. Other than the snap on triton d10 that I keep at home for when I do stuff at home. Was looking into the autel maxicom 808pro and probably give the free scanner I got to one of the apprentices at work.

The parking brake should auto release if driver has the seat belt latched then start to drive off.

I will have to try that. I don't usually have a seat belt on when moving cars from the parking lot. I just read the RO with a complaint of not being able to release so I just grab my scanner.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe only the autos are like that. Next one that swings through the dealer I'll have to check

@@theoffroadingmechanic my Mums VF Commodore does that. Releases when you take off in gear.

I tried it on both and it does release the parking brake with the seat belt on. Just gotta ride the clutch a bit for it to do it. The auto does it quickly. It's funny I always move cars without a seat belt and it beeps at me to release the parking brake.
