@@UndeadAhead they dont make heavier stuff than their early work. Currently they’re in their pop / punk era moving onto something new. They’re new music is way heavier than its been for the last couple of years.
But i was referring to OP’s metalhead comment because i thought dan might have another video where he mentions liking metal. Listening to BMTH doesn’t make someone a metal head because they have a diverse discography. The metal community kinda shuns BMTH for going pop and while i agree on some parts i think BMTH is doing work that no other bands would even think of. Sounds like they’re going back to their metal core roots but also trying to keep it poppy and upbeat

Same, I've also been watching dan for 9 years. I've been a metalhead for 3 years (thanks dad for introducing me to Pantera) but I realized that I've heard metal throughout my life. I was surprised to see this as an upload notification. I hope we will see more content like this from Dan. 🙂

I too love their music and this truly makes me understand Dan way more than I have before. I feel like this allows us to see him through a more pure light and understand him so much better. I don't know about you, but I always use music as an outlet and always thought that you could learn a lot about someone based off of the music they listen to. That being said, it helps us to really know Dan and I love it.

Ive been a fan of Dantdm for a while. Today i decided to look him up after years of not watching him and I gotta say.... him being a Metalcore fan has put the biggest smile on my face. So many people will be disappointed because it's not heavy. whenever BMTH drop a super heavy 1, everyone gets their sulk on cos they bring out something totally different again. If you go into it with no expectations with BM then you're less likely to be disappointed. I personally love it. 💕 my fave band ATM too. They're taking some beating. Putting them on shuffle is fun. Like a box of chocolates with no label😊

I can't believe I've never heard of this band before! They're so good, it's almost like Sonic Frontiers' Undefeatable, and that's one song I loved! Huge applause to them
Bring Me The Horizon rocks! If you wanna check them out, their newer stuff is much less heavy as compared to their older ones^^
I honestly hope they do a song for a future Sonic game. Frontiers already had metalcore songs by Kellin Quinn from Sleeping with Sirens, so I don't think it's unreasonable to say there's potential that SEGA might get them for the next game, plus Oli Sykes (the vocalist for Bring Me The Horizon) is a Sonic fan too. Bring Me also have a lot of video game references in their songs already, collabed with the Doom Eternal composer Mick Gordon, have a song in the game Death Stranding, and Oli has already collaborated with SEGA before through his clothing line Drop Dead, so maybe it could happen.

So far the songs on this album have really reminded me of other eras. Some of them sound like songs from sempiternal, some sound like that's the spirit, and some of them even lean towards suicide season and it's really cool to see

Now that I know Dantdm is a metal head it’s nice to know how he legit raised me as a child in every stage of my life! Starting when I loved Minecraft as a child and now to metal music in my teen years, I think he’s raising us past our childhood!

I can not live without my headphones playing some kind of music. It's a dope track and as someone who values music for it's daydreaming/mood altering potential that's saying something. My only experience with Metal is Ghost and now Nine Inch Nails, but BMTH might have popped up here or there.

I love Bring Me The Horizon one of my favourite songs is Chelsea Smile from Suicide Season and Mantra and this new song is dope, listened to Lost and I really liked that, I've been a huge metal fan for years with bands like Linkin Park, Deftones, Slipknot and that sort of stuff a new band which are pretty underground but they're really good they are called Scowl and you should definitely listen to their ep Physic Dance Routine it's awesome and I can't wait for the new album

Tbh, never heard of you, but this video made me subscribe 😅 I experienced throne live to, last february. Given that throne was the first bmth song I ever heard (right after it came out, been a fan eger since) i was sooo happy and even blessed to have experienced it live.

This was such an unexpected video from you, Dan, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! I'm a big fan of music! I listen to dozens of different genres (including metal) because I just cannot live without it! I'm always on the search of something new to listen to. "Throne" by BMTH has been playing on repeat on my phone and I really like this song, too! As you've mentioned, the visuals really add to the song and the whole aesthetic is amazing. With how tame and catchy this song is, I could imagine it blowing up and getting popular, viral. I'll definitely listen to it more. Someone else has told this already, but this song definitely gives Linkin Park vibes. But you mentioning "Amen" as your current favourite song has me really intrigued, I'm heading to check that one out now! :)

you probably have, they were the ones that made the "Gigachad" song, aka "Can you feel my heart".
i HIGHLY suggest you check them out. i would say that amo or thats the spirit would be a good jumping point, but honestly all of their albums are absolutely incredible. their first 2 albums focus more on a deathcore sound, but all of them have some heavy elements
