Tien jaar na het paardendrama op het Noarderleech

Tien jaar geleden werd een grote groep paarden op het Noarderleech een paar dagen wereldnieuws. Bijna 200 paarden waren een paar dagen omringd door water in het buitendijkse gebied bij Marrum. Miranda Werkman blikt terug met Aukje en Gerben Visbeek van de Seedykster tour bij Marrum.

I worked in amsterdam 40 yrs ago , one of my workmates , pierre , was freis , he said he was not dutch and used to talk about them getting thier own passport !

I wish there were subtitles. I speak English and German, so can make out about half, but would love to know more. If I understand the gentleman actually now owns the grey horse that was one of those rescued - which almost brought me to tears.

@@slueccroll4661 Ooooh, thanks so much for that! I had been wondering if that might be an additional reason, but of course wouldn't be able to tell. What is the dialect spoken? Friesian?

@@sharonlelie1113 Thanks for you reply! I rewatch the video of the rescue often - whenever I need to restore a minimum of faith in humanity. Living in fire-ravaged Australia I despair at what humans have done to the planet. :'(

I'm Dutch and need subtitles, lol. This is pure Friesian. I understand parts but not everything.
