Draw People: Part 2 - Running Figure

In this easy figure drawing tutorial on How to Draw a Running Figure (person) for beginners, I explain, step by step, how to use the measurement of the head to get the proportions right of your figure correct., before explaining how to work out the length of arms and legs. I also show, step by step how a knowledge of how shoulders and hips pivot can make your drawing look much more convincing. With this simple system system you will be able to draw the arms and legs in any position you wish.

Take Away Lesson. Determining body part lengths.
1. Head to Seat Bones = Pelvis to Knee = Knee to Foot
2. Shoulder to Waist = length of Arm to Elbow = Length of Elbow to Wrist
