I agree with the working back to back tip🙂I'm a nursing student and I used to work as a part time PCT 3 shifts back to back. And then I changed to PRN status and worked random shifts (rarely on consecutive shifts), and surprisingly, pre-shift anxiety was 100x worse when I worked as a PRN on random shifts!!! I ended up quitting that job. So I really agree on working back to back shifts. At least you know your patients and what you're going in to.
