The extended ratchet, makes perfect sense that it will be most useful. I am looking to invest in a power ratchet myself, the video helped a great deal. Thank you!
How’s it working for u?
Harbor freight hercules 135 for ratchet free battery and charger
@@zeuszerp9376 bro don't be the guy that compares harbor freight equipment to Milwaukee equipment, fuck sake.
@@bigboss-yv2nr they r all comparable if they fit the same genre of tool...hurcules is pretty badass
@@zeuszerp9376 my experience with cheap power tools especially is that they don’t hold up like established brands. Especially when u start putting them through the paces and pushing them to their limits which is inevitable especially if you’re working on cars
Bro how are YOU NOT sponsored by them yet hahahahah is mind blowing.
Who do you sponsor… him or the beard?
He is sponsored how you think he got all them 😅😅😅
You think they send him free tools because he’s not sponsored? Jeez bud he’s clearly sponsored

Been looking to upgrade my tools from the green set to this set. Just pains me to drop that kind of cash 😊
I got both regular high speed ratchets last year & they immediately made my OG brushless ones obsolete. Also have the 3/8 RAI that I got for the sole purpose of doing seat bolts. That guy does good on calipers, front engine, pretty much anywhere you need a bit more torque with little room. 3/8 stubby impact barely gets used.
what size do you recommend for car stuff & things around the house? 3/8?
@@mr.cabello9214yes best all around, 1/4 inch won’t be as strong drive and torque wise as a 3/8 inch drive for all purpose use
@@mr.cabello9214what did you end up buying
Thank you. I was stuck in decision paralysis. I still have the very very very first gen ratchet, which has been AMAZING, but I want a little more speed, torque, and the extended one makes the most sense.
Got to love milwakee users they alway talk you out of buying milwakee products. Cheers
For tight spaces buy Koken zeal sockets, they are short and thin wall for a decent price. Their shallow sockets look like miniature versions of any socket I have ever used.
Blake has all of the Milwaukee goodies 😱🙌🏻🙌🏻
So I actually just picked this tool up a week ago. The 2 amp stubby batteries on it are the way to go. Perfect example at 10:20 time stamp. I actually bought it with a new HO 5.0, but honestly...don't love that battery in that tool.
(Edit: Time stamp correction)
I feel no wiser after this. I don't understand Milwaukees... 1st gen. 2gen. etc. I can't tell them apart, I can't read them apart, I don't know which of them you are talking about. There is 200, 250, 350, 450 rpm....????
Great video! Really torn between the 1/4” or 3/8” longneck, I have the 3/8 high speed and love it. But hearing you say the longnecks are where it’s at makes me wanna give it a try!
I have the 1/4 long neck and wouldn't go without it now. You can also swap out the anvil in the head and make it the other size for $30
I just broke down and ordered my first electric ratchet after popping a couple of exhaust manifold bolts on the way to work this morning. Having already done the job once a few years ago I figured this would make it less of an extreme-anger-inducing pain in the dick. After seeing the 3/8 and 1/4 side by side I regret buying the 3/8.
Agree with you on the most part. The impact to me is super helpful especially removing caliper bolts as impact wrenches don’t usually fit in those areas. I have the first generation of the fuel ratchets in both regular and extended. If you are working on top of an engine the regulars are great if you are working down in the engine compartment the extended are better. The extra power of the first gen fuel is very handy even though they are mildly slower and have a larger head than the gen 2 high speed fuel ratchets.
High torque Impact + Swivel Socket...
Would like to see this with insider ratchet in the mix, looks like smallest yet.
Get the milwaukee insider, best purchase I've made.
I can not afford these damn ratchets but I really like the extended one. I am already on the M12 platform so maybe if they go on sale I can pick one up. Thanks for sharing this video man it was pretty cool to see.
That’s definitely a great one to invest into. One of my favorites for sure.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, appreciate the video
I don’t understand why everyone loves extended. I ALWAYS barely have enough space to fit the regular one into all spaces. Also I have the high torque with 55ft lb instead of high speed. I feel like I made a mistake lol. Since you can use as a ratchet anyways
U are right. Speed really does not matter. The slowest one still is faster then one with a regular wrench.
Would it be better to buy the side wratchet then? I feel like if you really need to bust out an impact then just use a regular one vs “ right angle” would be better correct?
@@ssjdavid It depends on each individual and the kind of work you are doing. Do and buy what you are comfortable with and don't listen to all these wanna be tool specialists here on their different channels in regards of what to use especially brand wise. Milwaukee battery tools are not necessary better just because lots of people think so and try to influence people. I do not only watch for longevity but more than not on the design and handybility and that overall is way better with Dewalt. I know i wlll get a lot of criticism for this now but voting for the same party every 4 years doesn't necessary make things change to your advantage.
I just don’t get the 1/4” drive unless it is super small nuts or bolts. My mid length 3/8 are shorter than a 1/4 deep. And my 3/8 stubys are shorter than a 1/4 standard. So I actually have more room for tight spaces in the 3/8 drive. Just my opinion. I have the high speed extended, the stuby impact and the right angle all in 3/8”. Then a half inch mid torque for bigger stuff. Really all I need
Awesome video! Very helpful, saving up for one!
Milwaukee makes some awesome stuff, great vid !
Not really. Bad design starts with a bad designed push lever. Looks very flimsy and can get stucked and does not look very stable means can rip off or be damaged quick. And the smsll batteries don't look very confident neither. Also Milwaukee handtools very often are bad quality like pliers are misalined. Can't understand why so many of you guys are on that Milwaukee bandwagon. 7:13
I don't think so. U better do more research .
See what I am saying 10:12 I get in a lot of situations like that that why I prefer the torque or speed because sometime you get to into those tight spots hard to break loose by hand. I am hoping they make one with high torque with high speed .
Do (can) all the batteries work in any one of them?
The high speed one is good but, no torque for bolts with little rust or residues of locktite on them. The old extended reach is better for overall bolt or nuts.
Speed vs torque
Knife question: is that the delica or endura you're using? Nice scales.
Wonder if they are going to come out with just a 1/4in bit driver version So you can run the Phillips heads Allen's Or triple square bits in them?
Can't you use a milwaukee right angle drill, use a 3/8 socket adapter, with a 17mm socket, and use it the same as a Milwaukee ratchet? As long as you break a the 17mm bolt loose first, u can use a Milwaukee right angle drill just like it. ???? right?
Sometimes you just need a regular old manual ratchet
I like that tool. I need one. Thank u for the video.
I have the high speed 3/8 normal size ratchet. These extended reach ones look pretty nice.. I’m just a weekend warrior so it will be while before I can justify getting them
So I just got this tool , and still reach for the 3/8' short. I like the new one, its going to find its place in my arsenal; but there are some things at the start I don't love. Its noticeably heavier. The shaft is stout don't get me wrong, but it does add weight.
It's only $106 for tool only
7.55 seconds in the video what milwaukee rachet is it
use colon for time 0:07
Man, that right angle impact is the shizz! I use it for suspension work and it performs flawlessly. Great video 👍🏻
Glad it works well for you. I think I’ve only used it 4-5 times and it usually doesn’t have the juice to break suspension bolts loose for me.
@@BlakesGarage
have you tried the 6 ah on it? It gives it a extra +\- 20 tq or about a 10% power bump compared to the cp 2.0.
also another trick for another 5% +\- power bump is to use the battery fresh off the charger.
It wouldn’t bust a suspension bolt I couldn’t reach with the stubby and It immediately broke free with these two steps,
High speed and extended is great for most. Ideal is extended 1/4 converted to 3/8 for small spaces. The new high speed extended are not that great. They have no balls and feel weak
7:53 has everything Team Red, doesn't use the Fastback. lol
I have one and use it everyday at work.
2:28 I removed a 3537074 with the 1/2in version.
Great demo, thanks! I have a question about the impact-capable tool. Is the head locked while not operating, or in other words, can you apply torque manually or only with the powered ratchets? In other-other words: can I use it as an extension of my "built-in-my-arms torque wrench".
Yeah the ratchet still works as a ratchet if you need extra torque. The impact wrench does not do that.
@@BlakesGarage Thanks!
SpyderCO! Love it!
is it the M12 FHIR38LR you recommend?
Man why do you turn the big electric wrench by hand under the car? Makes absolutely no sense. Just tighten it up til it stops then keep the fastener in place with it and tighten the nut with the regular wrench in your other hand. I'd use regular wrenches on both ends anyway doing that as it gives you way better feeling to tighten the fastener.
The fking haircut n beard is awesome man
Thanks man!!
Milwaukee and spyderco 🤘 he’ll ya dude
I really need one of them
Well good info looks like I’ve got options, but that extended seems to be te most universal and capable..
And if yiur still doin that give away thing and haven’t given away the house yet. ( Ilamadnis coming and im a house kinda guyz, that’dbe nice to win) I’d use those ratchets everyday look
I'm waiting for the new passthrough one to come out and it's killing me
Whats model number on the one one far left
well the BLUE ONE or even better the YELLOW ONE
hope youre not talking about kobalt
If you push his beard to the side to see what’s under. You’ll find a mini Milwaukee spokesman on a chair manning the controls to his mind. 🧌
I thought we would find a number like xxxx-xx 😂
Xc 4.0 is not the new battery the xc 5.0 highputout m12 battery is the new one or the cp3.0 high output those are the ones that r new
Quick question... are you not taking any more subscribers on Instagram?
Do the make a screw driver shaped like that?
Yes. I own it. They are called the Milwaukee right angle drill. I had it for 10 years. I use a 3/8 inch socket adapter, use a 17mm socket, and can use it the same way. Obviously it's not super super powerful. So if your working in a hard to reach area on your cars suspension, break the 15mm bolt loose with a ratchet, then you can use your milwaukee like a ratchet. It comes in handy when your installing oil pans, and etc. You don't want to lose your mind, so using a milwaukee drill with the adapters will painlessly remove the 15 bolts.
Insider?
3/8 is good for stubby nothing higher if your getting bigger impacts than stubby gotta go 1/2 cus your sockets are gonna have a painful death
i love my 3/8 stubby
Oh man wish I had that one the stubby is so good.
Like every one every tool
Do the batteries fall out of the m12s?
No lool
Ac delco are stronger I love these but they are weak
I’ve had the og fuel 3/8 for maybe 3 years now. Stumbled on the high speed 3/8 as part of a kit and never realized how much different the newer ones are! Stoked to start using the gen 2 🦾 subscribed and followed 🤙
Are brushless better, and if so why ?
These are all brushless. Yes, brushless is better. The reason why is that there are no brushes to burn out in the motors run much smoother and are able to deliver more torque and variable speeds
@@BlakesGarage ~ Thank you !
Awesome video man
Have you seen the insider ratchet one ?
Got it video coming soon.
the right angle impact isnt a ratchet nor even close to one
I want one so bad but I don’t think it’s worth $250, I can wait for it to go on sale which I know it will soon lol
Your shoulder will tell you it’s worth $250. Huge time saver.
Minimum wage here is 1500 and each of these cost 1000 per set -_-

I want to cry seeing Thor gave up Mjölnir for a bunch of Milwaukee Ratchet 😢
They (2569-20) are seriously over priced and under perform their advertised torque. If it wasn't for the fact I didn't want to buy a new battery system for a competing brand, I wouldn't have bought this.
ouch 350$

It makes no sense to have different sizes of real impact guns. One can get adapters these days for those . So one only needs a 1/2 or a 3/8 impact driver. And electric ratchets are never to be used to break up a fastener or to be used like a regular wrench to do that.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I am not a big fan of Milwaukee's dated and Antiquated paddle trigger. 31-year professional I would not use any of those. The sealed had Matco is a hammer and then updated 14.4 Longneck snap-on's rip I do have Milwaukee stubby impacts and B drivers so it's not like I'm against Milwaukee but A co-worker but the long necks and the conventional and the high-speed and they feel like crap and the paddle ever oh my God it's so 80s
