- Myanmar, one of the most dangerous countries in the world. There is currently a civil war happening in Myanmar and the country is under a military coup so right now is a tough time to visit the country. However there are certain regions you can visit so I decided to go there and see how life is in 2024 during hard times...🇲🇲
This was my second time travelling Myanmar after a few years so it was good to be back! I had an amazing experience last time so hopefully the same happens again. Welcome to Myanmar! 🇲🇲

Hi Ben, I am from Myanmar . Also i am one of your fan that always watched your travel vlog and please let me explain a little about the festival that you had seen at the Monastery ( Dala , the other side of Yangon City ) . In Myanmar , we have a festival in the month of November , name is '' Tasaung Taing ( celebrated as a national holiday in Myanmar) '' that means people are offering some things ( Kāṣāya , soap , cash , etc) and meals to the monastery so when you seen at the monastery was the people there are preparing meals for guests and monks for this "Tasaung Taing Festival ".
Thanks for your explanation. Hopefully your country can find peace soon. It looks like an awesome place
I've heard a lot about Rohingya Muslims and Islam in Myanmar... Something about Buddhist Monks vs Rohingya Muslims. Hope situation is better for you guys now.
🇲🇲 🙏🏼
@@gods-best-friend-gbf Islam is a fascist wicked ideology and must be opposed at every turn especially in Asia, particularly by women. No to Islam👎
It sure looks like a peaceful, fun place.
I'm so sorry to hear what's going on in Myanmar. I've visited Myanmar which is an absolutely beautiful country.
Myanmar people are honest, friendly and helpful. I hope Myanmar manages to sort things out.
I wish them peace and prosperity! ✌
@@dearsirormadam20 I agree with the fact that displaced civilians fleeing/caught up in the civil war in Myanmar should be able to relocate and resettle over to the vast resourceful Australia & New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region. True, around 90% of Australia/New Zealand are completely empty. True, the vast majority of the population in Australia/New Zealand, tens of millions of Europeans were from all over Europe brought in over to the Asia-Pacific region.
After all, ginormous resourceful Australia & New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region are Asia-Pacific lands looted from Native Asians-Pacific people.😔

@@dearsirormadam20 My jaw dropped as I learnt in Singapore, a tiny island with 6 million souls lives like sardines in a can, elsewhere in nearby vast bountiful Australia which is ten thousand times 10,000 bigger with a mere 27 million inhabitants.. It is a jaw dropping sad truth. 😔

Best video for a while on this channel no moaning and a positive attitude.
That's the same I thinking. But I was not surprised. Myanmar Yangon, best place for travel and tourism. Oldest Buddhist country of world.
exactly 💯
It wouldn't be the same without a good ol' moan. That's his 'thing'; putting himself in uncomfortable situ's so we don't have to.
Great series Ben and Kat really enjoying it. These countries look awesome with genuinely happy and welcoming people!
Yeah,We are always welcoming people.
have to watch your videoes to remind me of humanity, always astounded by generosity of the poorest, most countries you visit are the ones with most hardships but the people are amazing, uk could learn alot from these countries.
This is so true!!

Love your videos. Cat's smile is addictive, she seems so easy going 😊
I'm so glad she joined his videos. She's like a breath of fresh air. ☺️👍
As your Chinese fan, follow your footsteps and embark on a new journey. Although Yangon is not very wealthy, I was moved by the friendliness and smiles of the people. I will visit this country sometime in the future. Time is like a song, and the footprints of travelers will always lead others forward.
Welcome bro 🇲🇲. I hope enjoy your trip in Myanmar.Peace ✌
❤ the video !! Kat adds so much to your videos!
Ive seen you on Balds videos and i saw your China video come up the other week now im hooked on your content Ben loving it!
That’s how I found him as well, now I watch them both, even if it’s the same place together. They each can make a totally different vid on the same thing.
I've transferred to BPB recently from Bald, since Kat is with him, it's much more upbeat.
@@TT-33operator yes I was very pleased to find out you can watch both of there videos in the same places and they are completely different
@@69spookBald with Alina were epic if you haven't seen them
Love the travels when including Kat!
People seems so nice and happy to show you around! 😊
Lol I love it when Ben gives up. "When is the next ferry?"
"Yes"
"Yes, alright"
I enjoyed this video Ben, thank you.

Good work Ben and Catharina your videos are getting better every time you post ❤

I came to the UK to study three months ago and seeing more tourist vlogs from the UK just makes me more homesick. God Save my Country.
Your welcome to stay here in UK I hope you can.
Thank You Ben & Kat for Another Amazing and Awesome Adventure🙂💙👍Wishing You Safe Travels from Canada👍
Also, I like when you two switch the camera back and forth to each other - it adds a fun dynamic!
Thanks so much, Ben & Cat. I have never seen Myanmar from this angle.
I need to find me a girl like Kat to travel with. Just always smiling and down for whatever! She compliments you well Ben!
Looks great, wish I had gone when I had the chance with work.
You two make a wonderful couple. Enjoy!

Great place Ben people so friendly
nice video Ben and Kat thanks for choving Burma for the world
Chase and Status. Mozey, Hedex, Hazard, Jayline carry on mate! Straight up bangers.😎
Thanks for that! Looks brilliant and like a lot of nice encounters
Fascinating. Really enjoyed watching this. The people are so warm and welcoming. Never thought of Myanmar before and this was very interesting.
The best place in South East Asia for many reasons. Unfortunately the civil war is still on 😢
Love you guys,be safe.
I was just in Myanmar for 2 weeks for work. I got back home to the US yesterday. We must have been there at the same time. I stayed at the Melia Hotel. It was really nice and I can highly recommend it.
With this video my friend you have achieved an entirely new level of being an adventure travel legend. This one is truly epic! Well done
The Shwedagon Pagoda, popularly known as the Golden Pagoda, is a must-see in Yangon. It is also referred to as Myanmar's heart, and if you pray there, you could be fortunate enough to have your wishes fulfilled. Taxis and buses are two ways to get there. Without a doubt, you should travel to Bagan. I have traveled to this location. It is located in the center of Myanmar and is home to Popa Mountain and many ancient Buddhist pagodas. The Mandalay Region is where it may be found. Railroads, fast vehicles, and airplanes are all options. Many people are kind and helpful in Myanmar.
Killin it bro
Myanmar has such friendly, smiley people!!!
What amazing people! Thank you, Ben, for showing this video. So poor, yet smiling and friendly.
You two are quickly becoming my favorite vlogging team.

I have a friend from that country. It might be dangerous in some necks, but people are very nice, friendly and hospitable.
Ah mate seriously Myanmar has the best people on this planet 🇲🇲 legends
@@BackpackerBen Agree Ive been there twice. Last time in 2019. Dunno if its possible to get to Napoli Beach in the north west. try if you´re still there. Best ppl ever.
What an Awesome video guys!!!
I really love seeing you both experiencing life together💕
Happy travels🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
Absolute madness to go there now, hats off to you!
To be fair, i think that's not in the bad area. War is in pockets in the North. That city is in the South
Nothing madness about yangoon, dont fall for clickbait caption
If you believe the news on TV. That's why I like Backpacker Ben. His reality Rocks!
Myanmar really safe for foreigners and visitors. They warmly welcome and very friendly.
Kats on the back of a rickshaw waving like a Queen…Good Sport she is!
Tiger Beer! Good stuff Cat & Ben!👌🍻
I visited in 2017 and it’s the safest I’ve ever felt in any country! ❤
Very different now
We had an amazing day when we went over to Dala a few months ago, looks like you got the same bicycle driver as us.. how mad😆
The whole video was an eye opener. We hear about Myanmar being one of the world's most repressive countries, but ordinary people there are able to enjoy life and be friendly and cheerful.
Thanks for visit Myanmar.
waiting more episodes. There were a few bloggers are in Myanmar. staying tuned. Be safe and sound.
Please visit Karenni, Karen State, and the borders of Myanmar to understand what is truly happening. Thousands of Myanmar people are suffering from airstrikes and the burning of their hometowns, while Yangon, Mandalay, and Naypyidaw remain under military control
It is probably way too dangerous for him and Kat to visit there
They aren't journalists.
Because of rebels

awesome seeing you two having fun :)
I went on a round trip in Myanmar in 2019, great country with lots of things to see and great people!
Last video I saw you make from Myanmar, I had to double check my passport because I went to Malaysia, because I went home from Indonesia. It got me worried as if my brother's wife tried to do me wrong. They are two different countries. I had to land in Kuala Lumpur all alone which for me was kind of scary since I never really travel a lot. Long story short, I gave up my seat to my brother's wife so they could sit together, but I had to take a very sketchy flight to Kuala Lumpur. I'm still here so it's all good.
Excellent !
32 minutes already? This went by very quick - Great video!
People seems generally very friendly and welcoming
Love you guys..Be safe
Welcome to Myanmar and have a safe trip.
Great info and adventure! Thank you
Kat is so amazing. Soo charming! What a nice couple or team.
💡✌️Brilliant !!
Been there, loved it.
Nice video Ben and Kat. Did you feel any presence of the military while you were touring around ? Did your tour the university ? Wonderful People! All the best guys 🙏🙏 Jim and Harriet
Welcome to my country. I watched your video about three years ago. I like your video. You should comet with Mr. Bald. Save and sound in my country.
Didn't know you were into Drum n Bass Ben 😍
🔥
I live in Myanmar. Yemen, Afghanistan etc. are clearly far more dangerous than Yangon.
Love you guys stay safe from a freezing cold London 🥶 ❤
Welcome back Ben 🎉

Catarina uma simpática representante de Portugal nas aventuras com o Benjamim. Como foste aí parar miúda ? Será que há um vídeo de Q & A acerca de vocês ?
I've been to Myanmar. One of the safest places I've been. The people are quality.
Very nice, thanks for taking us along on the journey. Have fun, stay safe.
All those RUclipsrs are so dramatic when going to this country, yes there is war but mostly in jungles and small villages none dropping bombs on cities like in Ukraine
Yangon was dangerous, keyword “was”
Exactly what I wanted to say to them. If dangerous 😂why even bother coming risking their lives , .
They really are 😅 just to put that title to get more attention 😅
When I was in Thailand in march, I met a refugee/immigrant girl who left her whole family in Myanmar. I didn't really know the situation of what was happening in the country. Incredible what these people are forced to experience. This was a very informative and enlightening video. Thanks Ben!
The Burmese are the slaves of the Thais now. And Myanmar? It's a play ball of global politics of the big. USA, and China. China will Myanmar for thems new silk route. From China railway to though Myanmar harbour. Not need able to shipping around Thailand etc. And USA fight them miss uses the Burmese people. Divorce them. Want a colour revolution to get Myanmar under control fake Demokrat state.
Bamboo Village looks a lovely close-knit community where people enjoy life. I like the way you guys randomly end up in interesting, off-the-beaten-path places and meet so many nice people. But I think you got ripped off by the rickshaw guy, paying 25 dollars for a short ride! You gave him four times what he asked for, but he asked for 10,000 more!
Awesome friendly Burmese people great adventurous vlog indeed 😅❤
Great consistency Ben, 👌
