- I had never heard of the RSV Brevier from Cambridge until I was offered this one on a trade. Everything I know about it was through asking questions, feedback, and research. I learned some super interesting things about this really hard to find little Cambridge. This video is the result of what I learned. I’ve only found one for sale on Amazon and the price is CRAZY. Anyhow check out my interesting little recent pickup of a 22 year old Cambridge in French Morocco leather.

Wow, mystery solved. Thank you Tim.
When you mentioned the greatest Bible guru of all time, my first thought was "Randy Brown!" I love my Brevier. It doesn't have the line that you mentioned, though.
Thank you for explaining what Brevier and Pitt Minion mean. I had no idea. I thought they were just names they gave Bibles. Love the 🎀 ribbons 😊🇦🇺
I learned all that myself by researching this bible. Always glad to share what I discover! 😄
That is super fly glad you got a dealer that hooked you up.
Hi Tim, great review of one of my favourite Bibles. Sorry to correct you but leading is pronounced ledding. It means the extra lead (the metal) printers used to add between lines to create the extra line space. In this case the leading (ledding) is half a point or about 1/144th of an inch
I will make a note of it! I’m not sure I’ve ever heard it pronounced ledding before but I trust you! 😁
I feel better now…the great Randy Brown said someone had to correct him too. 🤣🤣
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews all quite understandable unless you have a knowledge of typesetting the old fashioned way - one letter at a time. And believe me, it's slow!
Thats quite a treasure. The more imperfections, the more personality!
I thought that made it cool too…but I bet people were super happy about it at the time!
