Did a quick search and looks like a bad MAF sensor most likely the culprit maxima.org/forums/5th-generation-maxima-2000-2003/630963-wont-rev-past-2500-rpms.html
Trey Dreher Trey Dreher an additional 30 hp isnt gonna get you more than .3-.5 secs in the quarter mile. Again a million factors to consider but thats really the best I can get out of it. I mean if a car magazine can get a best of 15.3 in a brand new car launching it 100s of times, 15.3 is pretty much what I was aiming for as well and the fact I can replicate it 14 years later, I aint complainin lol
@@jmclick.6349 Good question, have heard of the 30 being more reliable but have no first hand experience. My i35 hasn't caused me much issues either and has been rock solid.
No tunes, just a baseline run. The guy put in the wrong gear ratios which is why it spit some weird numbers. I think it was like 220 whp and 210 Torque once he put in the correct numbers
Man I have one rotting in my back yard and it genuinely hurts. This car is a project for me now.
Sell it to me
Love these body styles !!!
Got it running Need rear bushings replaced & rear front motor mount 😊
I’m getting an 03 i35 for Christmas. Can’t wait
It's definitely kinda lit, nice sub, comfortable, has balls for a v6. Did you get it?
@@trishatripp9311 well it ended up having a $2000 fix so I got a 2007 Mazda 6 instead. It’s a manual also, and that’s what I wanted
@@jlgonthebeat mines still running at around 270,000 miles 😌 glad you got a car you like. Idk much but ik watch out about mazda rear suspension n shi.
@@trishatripp9311 good thing is the rear suspension was already replaced. So I think I’m good to go
@@trishatripp9311 i got a i35 at 280,000 miles they are so reliable if you do the right care to them

I need that lol
Ready for ma 20inch rims
What coilovers you have on them and how low was the car?
BC coilovers, it was pretty slammed
@@mudasr nice
Quarter mile of 15.3? That can’t be right. My i30 ran a 15.4 and it makes a lot less power than this.
Trey Dreher depends on a lot of factors but stock autos do around the time I did.
mudasr I get that, but I’d still expect the i35 that’s lighter and has like 30 more hp and torque to do better than 15.3 but idk
