Great finds , I recognise the 'this will be the vise for the other side of the shop' sickness ......
Ever see that movie where the daughter leaves glasses of water all over the house? The family is dealing with much greater losses in life and problems going forward that her leaving water all over the house is practically not noticeable....
....until, aliens come and it turns out that they have bad reactions to water!
If you think I'm saying that aliens may come and they may need a workshop where they can make repairs to their alien ship, and Uwannawatch will be saved because he had the extra vises...
Then yes, you are correct.
I learned it from You! Jim! I really do need one over on that side though...
That side , then its that corners vise empty , then I really need that type , that brand , oh there's one I haven't got ...... @@Uwannawatch
@@toolrestoration Shhhh...We don't talk about all of those vises...the wife reads these comments....
Junk Drunk! Great video 🥃 👍 😊
Man when I tell you I was junk drunk I mean it. There was so much to see tools and such everywhere I looked..It was sensory overload.
I totally get that!
Great to see new friends and old friends together .....Great video!
It was a great time Brother! You should try to get out there some day.
It was great to meet you! I'm glad you had fun at Jacktown!
Thanks Man, It was a blast and great meeting you too. I had a lot of fun!
Fantastic video
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it!
That is very cool getting to meet all the greats. You got so many cool tools, the little Proto socket set is my favorite. Great Video George have a great week.
Thanks Mr. Dale! It was quite an experience that's for sure. I know you would have a great time there!
Someone has had a fantastic weekend away you pick up some amazing tools thanks for sharing And I think big Vic will be over the moon Thanks again George 🍺🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍👍
Hey Brian! Oh man it was so much fun! There were tools as far as the eye could see! I think he'll be happy for sure. Take care Buddy!🍺🍺🍻
Pickaxe entrenching tool! I would lick that restored. So jealous.
I'll do it but not film it. I already have done a Diamond entrenching tool video.
The Husky set is over-the-top amazing !
Thanks! I find dribs and drabs of Husky here but never complete sets. So it was awesome to find it.
Another great haul, I’d love to do Jacktown one day , looks amazing. The plumb set is great , great stuff. Enjoyed the video, stay cool and keep em coming 🇬🇧🙂
Tony!!!!! It's just a short flight. If you come over I'll buy ya a beer! I'm happy with everything I brought back. But ya the plumb set is pretty sweet.
Great video buddy. I’m like you, don’t have any favourites in what was purchased but seeing you light up surrounded by all your friends at the venue did it for me.
Glad you had a great time. Vic is so lucky to have Chrissy looking out for him and purchasing that sign. A perfect match. I’m sure he will be over the moon.🌒
Seriously Brother even if I didn't bring home a single tool I would have been happy! It was good to just hang out with my friends, Wish you could have been there! Chrissy is the only person I know that could have found the sign..Double Cola is unheard of here. Take care love to the missus and see ya soon my brother from down under!
Great video George and of course I agree the prize of Jacktown was the friends gathering. Had so much fun, can’t wait until next year. Cool medallion as well! 🤣🤣
Fred G! I had a blast and really hope we can get together again next May! I'm a Winner! 🤣
Nice video and haul. I really liked the last vice with the meatball end. It has that 1890-1910 look that I enjoy. I also enjoyed your description of being "junk drunk". Be glad you have such good friends who have the same interests.
Thanks for checking it out Joe, I am looking forward to finding out more about that vise. I was surrounded by a lot of good people and that's what made Jack town awesome.
Looks like a fun trip!
Yes Sir it was!
Awesome finds Super George! Those old Kraeuter wrenches are awesome. That flea market could've been very overwhelming if i hadn't focused on certain things. It was an absolutely awesome event and I'm looking forward to the next one. Hopefully i can hit it right when everyone is there so i can meet them all in person. Sorry i missed ya brother but i had a lot going on this trip and wasn't even planning on going. Next time I'll plan it better.
Captain Ivan! We'll be going back next spring for sure! Hopefully we can meet up then.
DUDEZILLA! I thought for a second there that you were going to cry and it would have been only fitting for me to laugh at ya..
OH and tell your wife that I am still waiting for a pristine white snake shirt for 1987!!
Andy, I'm a big man with big feelings!
She said "Ok! and that lightly used NKOTB back pack for next year?"
YAY, you met magdad - I follow him along with you. Both great people to follow. Thanks for showing your haul George. TAke care 🙂
Michael thank you for following. I appreciate you. It was pretty cool to meet all the guys and gals.
Looks like a great trip lots of goodies and getting together with good friends 🧡
Hey Michael! It was a great time and seriously I think being with my family and friends made the trip. {But the goodies were sweet}
great haul!! I think the bench vise and the mini vise are the coolest I have seen in awhile. Have a great week!!
Thanks Patrick! I couldn't go all the way there and not come with a vise or 2 . Have a good week Man!
Thanks Patrick! I couldn't go all the way there and not come with a vise or 2 . Have a good week Man!
Wow, how awesome.
It was fun Man! You should come out! Bonney Mack attack on the East Coast!
What a great video and awesome haul. I really wanted to go but it is over an 800 mile drive. A younger me could make it in one day but old me would be a 2 day drive.
I have the same pair of Kraeuter pliers to send you but since you scored them I am keeping and will restore in my next video. The large Kraeuter S wrench is also awesome. So many great tools you got!!
Well Mr. John I wish you could have been there! It was a fun time! I can't wait to see what you do with the Kraeuter pliers! I'll catch up with you soon!
Hey !George les outils sont superbes, c'est un véritable hold-up à Jack Town. Et bonjour les amis avec qui on peut boire un coup et discuter ensemble. Cela à dû être une agréable journée. ❤
Hello Patrick! Yes there were many tools but The best part of my trip was the time I got to spend with my family friends! Oh and $3 beers at the diner! 🍺😁
Hey George, thanks for sharing. Some day I hope to make the pilgrimage from Texas to fabled Jacktown and bask in the greatness of Scoutcrafter and Magdad 357.
That's a haul for you but it is a lot of fun and trust me totally worth it! Every one was awesome and there is so much there!
THAT'S IT! THAT IS THE EXPRESSION I HAVE BEEN MISSING! I GET "JUNK DRUNK" TOO!!! 😂👍😎
🤣🤣🤣 It was sensory over load!
Love the haul and the pictures of Jacktown with the boys. Looked like fun.
It was a lot of fun! I recommend it 10 out of 10! Seriously it's a great event and every one was cool.
Those vises are great. $50 for that large vise is a deal. Looks like it is in great condition. The quick way you can tell newer vises from older vintage vises is to scan for the meatball older vises typically have. This is one of your best tool hauls, and I also think it's cool that you work at building complete sets. Also nice to have a wife who shares interest in flea markets.
Hey Pat, Thanks! Ya I think it'll be a good secondary vise. Good tip about dating the vises, the meatball is what drew my eye at first. Ya I'm trying to build sets so there is method to my madness...My wife has a good eye for awesome finds.I mean she found me..LOL.
Wow what a haul, you got a ton of stuff! I think the first vise is pretty awesome. Thats great you found the Double Cola sign for Big Vic!
Hey Brother it was great to meet you Man! I like that vise a lot and it's gonna be a keeper for sure. Only my wife could pull that sign from there and she is over moon to send it down there. We are going back next May and hope to see ya again.
Great, great finds! I love that polish made vise! Nice find on the Diamond Calk as well!
Thanks Brother! I'm pretty stoked about that vise and I think it's gonna be a good 2nd vise. The Diamond was a real surprise find. I've only found 1 other out in the wild and I paid a whole lot more for it! I know it's a far trip but Man it would be cool if you could come out next spring and hang out!
George, it was good to meet you and everyone else that came to Jacktown. This was my 3rd spring visit and the group keeps growing each year. It's always difficult to spend any time talking after the initial meeting because everyone wants to go find the amazing things we find that we all love so much. My little green wagon was pretty heavy by the time I called it quits.
I like that big Kraeuter S wrench and the Proto pry bar.
George
Ya George it was nice meeting you too. I wish we could have talked a bit more but yep you're right we all gotta get our pick on. We will be back next Spring and will stay for 2 days. Now that I know what i'm in for I can plan accordingly.
Wow! I am gonna say you had the best Jacktown experience ever! I know you will want to do it all over again, but every trip there from now on will be compared to this and I struggle to see how it could get any better!
We'll be going back Next May! There are a lot of creators and friends that I know are wanting to come out too. We are planning on making it an annual thing. How will the trip get better? We are staying 2 days next year!
Very cool you got to meet up with some other creators and it sounds like you and the family had a great time. Plus you snagged some awesome pieces to boot! Can't wait to see how you transform them.
Thanks Brother! You should try to make it up there. I saw a booth with nothing but vintage games and stuff. We will be going back next May.
You had me at Junk Drunk, I think that's my new favorite word man! I'm a little envious. You made a killing at Jacktown. I love all of it, the vises are super cool and you really got some awesome Kraeuters--that little offset slip joint pair of pliers is a gem and so was that Herculean S wrench--how cool and well done!
Thanks Man! There were so many amazing tools and the people were awesome. It was a great time and no other way to put..Junk Drunk. Thanks for checking it out.
Nice finds there, the smaller of the vises is a real beauty, same goes for those wrenches. Sounds like it was a great time had by all👍🏻
Alex, It was a fantastic time! I was going to film some there but ..I honestly was so overwhelmed by the amount of tables and I focused a lot of the time there being with my family and friends. I'm looking forward to giving that little vise a make over.
Nice stuff! The large S wrench is pretty darned nice. I have the box like the Plumb 1/4" ratchet set but no tools. I restored it but have not come up with a good use for it yet.
Thanks! Fill it! There are a lot of tools looking for a nice place to stay!
That Plomb set is nice, I just found one as well and it didn’t have 1/2” either! It also didn’t have the spinner handle, nice find!
Thanks! I found one a while back that didn't have the spinner handle. but it had 2 of the 1/2" in there. I kept one of the 1 and sent the rest of that set to my buddy.
Really nise FPU bison vise, glade to see that the frount corner isn't broken, they tend to do that. Great tool haul .
Thanks Man!
Some cool stuff. Love the fact that you got to meet face to face with some of those great guys we all watch on RUclips. How fantastic 😉👍
It was a real experience that's for sure! Maybe when I win the lotto I can go meet with you face to face 😉
@@Uwannawatch 😁
Like it all! Fix that vise up!
Thank You and I will!
Great video George! I love those metal boxed tool sets!
Thank You Mr. Bill! I was quite happy to bring them home!
Great finds there George, really jealous of the ice chipper just think they're great things. Strangely I went through an old tool bag of mine and found two 1st's, my first Kreauter (small side cutters) and my first Bonney (a small spanner) didn't know I'd had them all this time! 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇬🇧✌️
That's Awesome to have finds you didn't know you had and 1st's! Great quality tools. Congratulations!
Love tools and the Double Cola decal.
We used to get that cola here in Michigan in eight packs back in the 70s and early 80s.
Thank You, We didn't have the Dub here so it was quite the rare find for this area.
Lots of cool stuff George. That bench vise is really unique. The Kraeuter wrench looks like it is really made well like all of their tools. It just looks like they put more time in finishing the tool before it leaves the factory. Plumb socket set is sweet. Really good finds!
Mike,Mike,Mike! Man I tell you there was So much there to look at! You know I had to bring a vise or 3 home . Kraeuter is definitely a quality tool and i will treasure these. I am pretty stoked to have another complete plumb set. Brother if you ever get the chance you gotta come up here! We'll be going back next spring.
@@Uwannawatch Sounds good👍🏻 Have a good Memorial Day.
Great video, I laughed out loud when I saw your Gold Metal lol. It was great meeting you and your family.
Thanks David it was cool meeting you guys too. I told you I would wear it. LOL
Nice tool haul. I like the High Life sign .
Thanks! I got the sign a few years ago.
How did I miss your Puppers shirt? F#*king embarrassing! (kicks garbage can) 🤣 Great finds. Look forward to meeting up again soon.
Absolutely Man "allegedly" next year is gonna be even better! We gotta get together before then though got to have Tenacity for picking. Seriously we got to get together since we are local to each other! email me if you wanna do some picking.
Nice haul brother that 6 inch boos wrench is in fabulous condition i still cant believe we found the same wrench on the same day lol crazy thanks for sharing take care brother
Hey Don, I know it's funny. Great minds think a like. but seriously what were the odds? Take care Buddy. See ya soon.
The proto pry bar nice husky set 🤔
Thanks Richard!
My favorite(s) in no particular order are the vises. That was pretty cool video at the end too. Good times.
Thanks Kid! I really like the vises I found but wonder how many I missed. That was a great time and I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
It’s a FPU or Bison vise. Made in Poland. Very good vises often has a chip missing where it slides looks like yours is in great shape. Lots of people made that I beam style if no marks it likely came out of a “production shop” in the mid to late 1800s similar to them hundreds of shops that were making post vises to a standard design
Thanks Daniel! There was also a bigger one there but I only wanted the smaller one I got.
@@Uwannawatch it will make a fun restoration video if you choose as the mechanism is just different enough from a classic America made
Awesome finds. I think my favorite was the smaller vice, it just seemed a little different. I also liked the Wizard wrench (I collect tools from Worcester, MA). Some day I hope to make it to Jacktown. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I thought it was pretty unique. I saw a lot of Coes and wakefeild there. If you ever have the chance to make it to one of the shows you should go.It's really a good time.
Dude great picks.. That was place was heaven..😇👼..And yes junk drunk. Mrs Ccscraps says thank you for the shout out.. Glad u liked the Kraeuter. Next year we are definitely tailgate'in. It was awesome meeting you dude and everyone.. I'm not gonna lie when I met John it was like meeting Yoda.. lol. Stay safe out there man.
CC!!! It was awesome meeting you and your wife! Her cookies are banging!! We are coming back next spring and staying for 2 days! We'll call it the Spring thing! Keep in touch brother! Next year Bring some of those tail gate tall boys!
@@Uwannawatch absolutely.. that's the plan .
George- We were all stoked when we heard that you were coming to Jacktown. It was so great meeting your family. I too sat in 3 hours of traffic going home but that show is just so awesome it really is worth it. Our community is the best bunch of people ever! See you again soon! Great haul!!!
John it was very nice to meet you. We are definitely going to make it our spring thing! You are so right about our community a great group of people. And yes worth driving through all the traffic for.
Cool vises. I stopped buying them awhile ago, until last Sunday, when I found a Wilton bullet vise for $75. I'm off the wagon,.........
Well you can't be too hard on yourself..We understand! That's a sweet deal no one could have passed up on!
Just like my husky set i bought in the late 60s and have been using ever since. Somebody borrowed it and the ratchet and one socket disappeared to my utter disgust. Enjoyed looking in on your tools.
Thanks I really appreciate you checking it out. Sorry somebody lifted your shit... That sucks.
I have to admit I think your best find is that quarter " drive set From plum I'd clean that up that box up a little bit and make it look spiffy
Thanks, That's my game plan man.
Awesome haul.
Thank You!

@@Uwannawatch No One! Because She was the smartest one walking the grounds there 🙂Its no secert we know how you find all the good stuff.... i had the same type weapon back when i use to get out picking... old lady's are great at this...🙂
Nice buys!
Thanks Yadda!
Glad you had fun at Jacktown I have to go one day
Larry You won't be disappointed a lot of good stuff there. We'll be going back next spring!
Bro, l was on that Husky socket set… that guy had a great hammer selection
Glad you got it
Didn't mean to snag it on ya! Man I saw so much good stuff there I can't wait to go back next May!
@@Uwannawatch l had two opportunities to grab it and passed, agree with you that there was way to much to process
Double Cola, is it a tasty beverage? Local? I had a Dr. Schnee sign years ago that was stolen. I enjoyed the extra bits in the video. Thanks again
I've never had it, It's not local here..but it is to Big Vic's area. Amazing we found it. Glad you enjoyed the video.
You came to mind the day before yesterday.... The man who moves heavy stuff.... I found a 404 R REED MFG Eire online, here in Italy, think... Think about it, and then having thought too much, someone else had bought it... I will never find another one, who knows how it arrived and what history it had...
However, luckily for me, the seller had written that he weighed 27 kg, so having back problems I pretend to be happy.
That;s a shame you missed out I bet it does have a story and it would be awesome to know it! . I missed out on something at Jacktown for the same reason.. I thought about it too long.
@@Uwannawatch Old chinese proverb "You snooze, you lose".
good morning George
that is very cool the Italian back hoe
Hello Dan O !
Awesome haul dude! Subscribed!!
Thank You! I appreciate it! Have you ever been to Jacktown?
@@Uwannawatch Yes, once, about 2 years ago. Excellent show. I learned about Jacktown from Scoutcrafter! Are you out of Jersey?
A complete set of oddballs?......Look no further we are all gathered in the comment section!
🤣🤣
Bro, Did you get a haircut? You got gipped. They forgot the chin. I pay $10 and the nice lady shaves my ears and trims the eyebrows.
