Loved the walk through sir, thank you. 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇬🇧✌️
I appreciate you stopping by Phil. I enjoyed sharing the walk-throughs with you all. I hope you have a great weekend.
Sooooo, Muuuuuch, Coooool, Oooooold, Juuuuunk! Thanks for taking us along! 👍😁
You and I think a lot alike.
The tin boxes are to be left flat and stored in a thin shelf or rack. The "D" rings are so you can pull them out of the rack. Old time hardware stores used these for small parts some still do.
Thank you, that was very helpful. I really appreciate it when viewers share their knowledge on the platform. Thanks for watching and sharing and have a great day.
Lots of goodies I've seen at the show like the garden tool
Lots of goodies is a good way to say it. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching. Have a great rest of your weekend.
Looks like you had a perfect day to go tool scouting! Love that Hori Hori!
Thank you. Loved your Craeuter in the last video I watch of yours. Thanks so much for sharing. Such great stuff and for all your support. Have a great weekend.
Thanks, I've learned something. I've never seen a soil knife like that, very cool.
They are new to me as well. I can’t remember where but I saw some a month or two ago. So, I feel fortunate to have found this one and made a deal. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend.
I was going to tell you that Hori Hori is worth a few bucks then I see you have it in the description already........I like those metal boxes too.
Yes. I like to check and make sure I didn’t get ripped off. I paid 25 for it which wasn’t inexpensive but I do think it was a decent deal. Always great to have you in the comments and thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
That was a great trip to the flemarket! I seen some great pocket knives! I would have went broke buying knives! Have a wonderful weekend 👍
When it’s really nice outside the flea market is usually a really good visit. Lots of vendors show up. There’s so much stuff there it’s hard for me to take it all in sometimes. So, you may have seen some things that were a good find that I didn’t even notice. Thanks so much for watching and have a great weekend.
Its always good to see vintage and some rare tools! That garden tool is something that ive never seen.👍🇺🇸🗡
I guess the channel is educational too. The truth is that garden tool is new to me as well. I came across something similar to it about a month or two ago and just so happen to see one for sale at this fleamarket. So, I snatched it up. Always great to see you in the comments and thanks so much for stopping by Roger. Have a great day
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure through the flea market. It look like there's a lot of good stuff, I am definitely drooling. That your tool/knife is very interesting and cool, good pick on that.
I thought it was cool too. I’ll have to do a follow up video sometime after I’ve had some time to use it. Thank you so much for joining me on this trip through the flea market and I hope to see you again soon. Have a great weekend.
I went to my flea market this morning. 33 tools for $32. I got about 7 flat edge screwdrivers that match yours almost identical. I do not have a clue how to clean up and make wood handle screwdrivers look nice, but I am getting a big ish collection. Nice video.
Nice job. That sounds like a really nice find. As for screwdriver handles, you need to check out 357magdad and ScoutCrafter. They both do a fantastic job of demonstrating how to clean up screwdriver handles, both Wood and plastic. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching the video and sharing your great fortune. Have a wonderful weekend.
Old oilers of all kinds are cool and useful! Eagle was made in West Virginia at some point.
That’s good information. Thank you so much.
That knife will be perfect for the mower. Lots of uses even as a somewhat beefy chopper.
You and I are thinking a lot alike. I was considering shortening and modifying a machete but I think this will do better yet. Great to see you in the comments and thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
Nice finds
It was fun. Thanks so much for watching and hope you have a great weekend.
There sure were a lot of toys mixed in with the tools. But then I remember my grandmother referring to her sons as the boys, and I think some of the time she included Grandpa when she said it. Even my mom and her sisters would refer to their brothers as the boys. Evidently tools are toys for us grown up boys.
That is very true. I have heard it said that the only difference between a boy and a man is his toys and I still have some of my boyhood toys. Now tools are my toys. Thanks for enjoying these toys with me and have a great weekend.
Knife is very cool!
I think so too. I’ll have to use it some and maybe do a follow up video and see what I think of it. Thanks so much for stopping bye and commenting have a great weekend.
Lots of great items at that flea market! I would have left there broke! I’m surprised you didn’t buy those Norlund axes. I like the metal boxes. Cool soil knife/hori-hori. 😃👍🏼
Yes, there were lots of nice things at that flea market. I LOVED those Norlund axes, but they were $300 for the pair or $275 a piece. That was WAY out of my price range. Maybe someday I’ll be able to get some of those. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing. Have a great weekend.
Great video thanks for sharing
Thank you for stopping by Michael. Hope you have a great weekend. Come back again soon.
That sure is an interesting knife/tool! 😁👍
I really do like it. I’ve only been able to use it a little bit, but one of these days I might try to do a follow up video and share about it. Always great to have you stop by and share in the comments. Have a great weekend.
@@toolscouter Thanks! You too!
The last one is a Hori Hori knife and that is not a bottle opener, it's for cutting twine.
Good to know thank you. Welcome to the channel and hope to see you again sometime soon. Have a great week.
Garden blade is VERY cool, wonder if that is full tang with a strike plate.
I think it is. You can look them up on Amazon and there’s a variety of them. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
knife for dividing roots/plants
Thank you. Great to have you stop by and thanks so much for sharing. Hope you have a great weekend.
Nice place to shop how was the prices.
I really like the Norlands good stuff.
I like it. Prices are pretty good but the Norlunds were $150 a piece. Out of my range even though they are my favorite. Have a good one Jim.
Great video! I had one of those Norlund Hudson Bay style axe’s many years ago. I’m curious what the guy was asking for the one at the flea market?
So, you don’t have it anymore? I was covering those two axes really badly. He wanted $300 for the pair or $175 a piece. That was a little bit out of my price range. If I can ever find some at a yard sale or one that’s a little less expensive I’m I’m going to jump on it. Thanks for sharing and come back again soon. Have a great weekend.
@@toolscouter I wish I still had it. I’m not sure where it went but I’ll attribute it to my reckless youth…
where is that flea market located
Strawtown Indiana, North of Indianapolis. Only on Thursday mornings. It’s best in the summertime in the winter there’s not as many vendors. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
@@toolscouter thanks for the info did you remember how much they were asking for the norlund axes.
They were $175 each, or $300 for the pair. I love those axes, but they’re out of my market. They were both fine samples though, with original handles, if I remember right. Thanks for stopping by and have a good one.
@@toolscouter thank you
