  • iMortor test out of the box with no load, just upside-down loosely mounted on a front bike fork. See my other video for the ride • Final iMortor hub moto... A unique, low-powered system that may help to assist pedal power - if it works well enough. Note: I say that the kit did not contain a torque arm - and it does not include a heavy duty one. But it does include two (3 actually - 1 for a spare); one for each side. They will probably do the trick for this light duty motor.

    I've done over 550 miles on the one i bought since March. Still running silently despite Londons roads, which is like cycling off road most the time.

      hi David, what happens when you apply the brakes? does the motor stop? Or do you have to switch off the motor before applying the brakes? the latter sounds dangerous!

    You would have to see the manufacturer to get their take on it. I found that I was not able to use the iMortar hub motor for anything except to increase speed on downhill, and minimally helped on the flats (whether raining or not). The weight and all other information you can get here: www.amazon.com/YUNZHILUN-Electric-Bluetooth-Lithium-ion-Included/dp/B07BFTB28H

    I posted another video showing that the iMortar did not meet my needs. The battery/motor combination was not powerful enough to get me up even a very gentle incline without some pedaling or kick-biking. So, I returned it. It is a great concept, but not powered adequately at least for my needs (it is fine if you will pedal continually, or if you just want to go downhill). I ended up getting at 48V 1000W Hub Motor laced into a 26” wheel, and also this compatible 48V 11.6AH battery. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071FJND5T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    I get about 12 miles range up and down steep hills with this system on a kick-bike (no peddling, but occasional kick power). It works well, has adequate power, and gets me back and forth to work.

    How much do this cost

    a battery step up generator would reduce manufacturing cost so that everyone in the world would be using the imotor. you just need these three additions to reduce the battery size.
    A 775 motor and a yanmar permanent magnet alternator then transformer it to make a 11 amp and 36 volt ebike. the stuff it comes with should be able to handle the extra 1 amps. also you will need in series at least three potentiometers that you glue to a certain setting after setting it up and the first should be push button to turn on and off.

      @3dmixer552 6 лет назад

      about 9kg. Nearly as heavy as the bike. It's not worth the money I got rid of mine after 2 days.

      what was your replacement? NO e-tire?

    • @MrHolz1234
      @MrHolz1234  5 лет назад

      @@chas7surf I ended up getting a JAXPETY 48V 1000W Electric Bicycle Cycle E Bike 26" Front Wheel Ebike Hub Motor Conversion Kit Hub Motor Wheel, and also a SunB-Hailong-01 48V 11.6AH E-Bike Battery with 18650 Panasonic Batteries + BMS + charger. This combination works pretty wells and gets me up hills impressively. 15 mile range or so.
