The apostles of Jesus Christ, were saved by the grace of God [Acts 15:11]. No tithing requirements for salvation. No circumcision requirements for salvation. No speaking in tongues requirements for salvation. No slaying in the spirit requirements for salvation. No Sabbath requirements for salvation. No work requirements for salvation. No church membership requirements for salvation. No sign requirements for salvation.
It might sound all good and spiritual to say that ten percent is an "old covenant minimum, and it would be shameful to go below it," but this is not indicated anywhere in the NT. Our instruction in the new covenant scripture is to give "as each has determined in his heart, not under compulsion." To say you have a minimum of ten percent or your giving is shameful, is the very definition of "compulsion." Give what's in your heart. That is new covenant giving.
There is no NEW COVENANT that concept of thinking is from CHRISTIANITY the great harlot. THE COVENANT never changed when Yiremyahu spoke of a new COVENANT he spoke in regards to obedience.
@@P.O.T.TPodcastYou are terribly deceived and are changing what the scripture says in order to fit the teachings of men, which you have embraced as your god.
Two guys dressed decently pretending to be righteous men but full of deceit and lies, not a single person in the early church who ever tithed and claiming that 10 percent is the minimum that a Christian can give is pure evil and shame. The law of liberty has given us the power to decide what to give.
I would easily concur if all the talks are based on scripture, how can Christ the author of our faith not show us tithing as part of something we should do, ok atleast to the apostles but he preaches giving atleast. He even pays tax because he sent someone to go and get money from the fish but not tithe? Something needs to be understood
Tithe was under Law, we are now under the Law of the Spirit
